    Steak chimichurri tacos
    Yireh R.

Oh man, I've been to taco rico before but just had the steak chimichurri tacos with birria style tortillas and it was A M A Z I N G!!!!!! My heart is so happy right now. The could the steak perfectly so that it was well done but not tough or dry. The birria tortilla was HEAVEN. I could ask for a pack to take home... and I kind-of want birria now. The chipotle crean was nice giving it a kick. They forgot to give me the chimichurri but honestky it was so good i didnt realize it until i was half way dine. The flavor overall was great and all the servers were friendly.

I have frequented here a lot and never done a review I do not know why. So thought I should, as it is about time! First off this is not a chain but a local establishment, I think they have another location in Coral Gables too? They know their Mexican food. I have tried all sorts here and I and my family (kids, mum n dad from England) have never been disappointed. Also to be noted the portions are huge. Typically you also get free tortilla chips with a main order, which are always fresh and crisp. Then from there they offer a salsa bar - where you can get various sauces, salsa etc, as much as you like. LOVE THAT! The service is usually on point and pretty fast. My kids used to go to Palmetto high school years ago and I know a lot of school kids would hit this place after school for some Mexican food!I like how taco rico has a salsa bar too. This is a now thrills, local spot, there is a small sit in area, but you can also to take away.

Taco Rico is a great family ran business with a few Miami locations. I usually dine at the Coral Gables location off US1. That location is easier for me since it's right next to my Fire Station. I wasn't aware of the Pinecrest location till I moved down south. I am so happy to have such an awesome Mexican restaurant close by. This chain deserves 5 stars for the following reasons. -Great Food! -Fast Service -Fresh Flavors -Consistency with meals. Today my wife and I ordered the Steak Wet burrito , Shrimp Tacos and the chili con queso. They have so many different types of homemade sauces to enhance the flavors of your meal or just to use to dip your house made corn chips! All locations are kept clean and neat which is a plus when dining with kids. Check them out at any location , you sure won't be disappointed !

This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff is super friendly, the space is super clean, and the food is well prices, very fresh and delicious. Everything that we have tried so far has been a hit! The salsa bar is to die for, I love each and every type of salsa. If you are looking for a delicious, casual, and friendly place, this is a must visit. Today was our first time here, I am sure that it will not be our last! The restaurant is extremely clean and organized, the staff super attentive and on point. The food is homemade, fresh and very delicious. I can't wait to go back and try other house specials. I have seen this place for years and never gave out a second glance. So happy to have found it today. If you love Mexican food, you will not be disappointed. The salsa bar is amazing, I tried each one and they were all delicious!

Taco rico is just a solid place. It's not trying to be like one of those hip taco stands that are trying too hard to look cool. It's great for take out or just to dine in for a casual meal. I've gone to taco rico a lot, and after trying many food items, I think my favorite is the burrito. What I usually do is split the ultra sized burrito with someone else. The burrito is huge!! I definitely recommend to not order the regular sized burrito and to get the larger size instead. The larger one costs a bit more, but it is double the size. The ingredients in the burrito taste really fresh and you don't feel that heavy after eating it. The fajita salad is also a good option if you're trying to be healthy. It comes with a good amount of protein and vegetables. I've heard it's tasty. It's just a good option to have if you're trying to avoid carbs. I like how taco rico has a salsa bar too. Many places make you pay for extra salsa, but I like how taco rico gives you the freedom to have as much salsa as you want. They typically include chips with the meal you order, so it's nice to just chomp on some chips and salsa while you're eating your meal. I'm a fan of Taco Rico. I've come here for years and I'll continue to do the same.

Excellent service excellent food small place but you go home more than satisfied. I came in I approach the counter I was greeted I was given the options as to what I can eat I was asked what I felt like eating what enticed me more and I took my decision under those recommendations I ordered the largest wet burrito that you could ever think of humongous have you seen my pictures real consisted of steak rice and a lot more beans. Along with that came a basket of chips with a homemade salsa and you have a lot of salt list to pick from from Albany ranging from hot tomorrow to not milder not hot just easy-going awesome delicious regardless made the correct way as a matter fact The restaurant owner or manager made me a particular sauce it tasted outstanding it was hot enough that my lips are still burning hot but he took the time and he asked me I see that you like salsa try this one he personalized it for me Do you have a driving on the restaurant says text mix it doesn't say authentic Mexican food they deliver exactly what they advertise the service is great the food was outstanding I would deathly recommend too many people to go eat there no complaints whatsoever great atmosphere a family oriented business and you can still sit down have a couple beers

    Chips and salsa.

No complaints. Food and service are top notch. Seating is a little bit crowded depending on how busy it is but otherwise I'd eat here again.

It's a small, fast, casual dining place, with table service. I started with the La Potranca cocktail. Our server said it was tequila, passion fruit, and coconut. I assume it was coconut milk or cream of coconut, because the drink had a very light creamy consistency. Honestly, I'm still thinking about this drink. My husband said it tasted strong which surprised me because it didn't to me, but halfway through, I was feeling it. I loved this drink so much. It also came in a funny torso shaped glass. For food, we ordered my daughter the cheese quesadilla, my husband the beef burrito, and I ordered the Vampiro - a fried tortilla with meat, cilantro, onions. My husband said his burrito was good but that it was too much cheese. It essentially tasted like a cheese burrito. Similarly, our daughter's cheese quesadilla was so THICK that we thought she mistakenly got chicken. Turns out it was an enormous amount of cheese, but I tasted it and it was also sooo flavorful. The Vampiro I ordered tasted so good. It was different from what I've usually had in Mexican restaurants but was sort of "lighter" in some ways even though the tortilla was fried. This has a ton of flavor too. I ordered two, and they were $4.50 each, so not bad. (The food came super, super fast). I forgot to mention we were given chips when we arrived. There was a caddy of 8 sauces to choose from, spicy and mild. I tried the very spiciest, Salsa Chile de Vincent's, and this did have some spice but not too much. The Salsa Asada was the second spiciest but not spicy for me. Salsa Chilango had another flavor in it that I couldn't quite narrow down but it was a little creamy and super flavorful. And the Salsa Asada had a Smokey flavor. Regardless, it was a great collection to choose from. We ordered the churros for dessert with dulce de leche to dip them in and also Nutella. These are probably the best churros we've had. They were super sugary and so delicious. The place is small but with a fun, pink, neon aesthetic. The bathroom was clean and beautiful. (Don't be deterred by the sign at the doorway saying no public restroom - that just means for non-patrons. This little restaurant was such a fun surprise and definitely somewhere I'll go again.

They have a good selection of sauces to put on top, and they're all very tasty. I feel like it's a better quality "chipotle" style restaurant. More authentic than a chipotle.
