This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. The customer service was terrible, and the food was served cold. The owner, who appeared to be the person with the tattoos on his arm, seemed unprofessional during my visit. As for the food, I honestly don't understand the positive reviews. It lacked flavor from start to finish, and I ended up throwing it in the trash because it wasn't worth eating. We ordered a birria quesadilla ($14) and birria tacos ($13). As you can see in the photos, the quesadilla was practically paper thin; not much meat. There was also minimal cheese -- it was mostly tortilla. The dip tasted like Campbells tomato sauce, not birria sauce. The meat tasted unseasoned. As for the tacos, the corn tortillas weren't fried. Seemed like they were only dipped in sauce. Again, the tacos lacked much meat. Would have enjoyed a Mexican Pizza from Taco Bell more. If you want TexMex, find another place. I would give this place one star but the saving grace is that this restaurant appeared clean, there's a self-serve salsa bar, and they provide complimentary chips and salsa with your order. read more

I wanted to eat something hardy, and with a little green, so I got a taco salad from taco Rico to go. I was pleasantly surprised that the taco traveled well since I took it to go. When I got there, the cashier was very friendly and the service was great. I went right after work hours so the environment was pretty slow but I know that it usually picks up right at dinner time. I ended up ordering the ground beef, one which came with the lettuce, pico, guac, sour cream cheese, and their corn and bean salad. Another good addition to my neighborhood. Ordered take out for my dinner. It was ready for pickup upon arrival so kudos for that. I ordered the Birria Tacos, an Elote and horchata to drink. Birria tacos were good, the meat super tender yes, however it lacked some flavor even when putting some hot sauce on it. The Elote was pretty good. The sauce and the sprinkles of cheese gave it very nice flavor. The horchata was ok, not the best, but ok. So 4 stars is deserving of this place read more

Came here to have dinner with my parents. You come in and you place your order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Workers were friendly and helpful. Place was good, music playing in the background. What we ordered was the chicken quesadilla, the flautas and the birria tacos. Everything was really delicious, portions were perfect. Recently opened in Cutler Bay. I have been going to their other locations (especially Doral) before this one opened. Never been disappointed by their food. Really great Tex-mex. Food is freshly made. Their enchiladas are my favorite. If you like hot salsa their Aji salsa is really good. The Atomica hot sauce is also worth getting. read more
