When I went to college in San Diego, the burrito became a whole separate block in my food pyramid. Outside of California it's always a struggle to find really good mexican food, and even more so to find a really good burrito place. I first tried it with a friend of mine from San Diego who was visiting and she, too, concurred -- the burritos at Tacos Lopez are as good as many San Diego joints (where they freakin invented the "california burrito"). I haven't tried any of the other dishes there, only the burritos because why deviate from excellence. They're fast, cheap, and delicious. Only two things to suggest/critique: I wish they had free chips and salsa inside. And I wish they would call their "Colorado Burrito" a "California Burrito" because that is what it is known as everywhere else.
