I've been going to this restaurant for years and it is still one of my favorite authentic Mexican places to this day. It's small, but cozy. They have the best prices and on Tuesdays tacos are 2 dollars! They give you one serving of complimentary chips with their own homemade salsa which is delicious! They used to give more than one serving of the complimentary chips and salsa for free, but of course, this isn't Chilis. These are nice and warm chips so it's completely understandable. Found this cute little Mexican family owned business in a small mall across from the Women's Park where we greeted with a huge smile and warm chips with a delicious homemade green sauce. My husband ordered Street tacos with green sauce which were very good. And we both had Mexican enchiladas (his was with carnitas and mine with shredded chicken). Both tasted amazing. So happy we no longer need to drive all the way to Homestead to have true Mexican cuisine. Chris thanks for the great service. I tried this cute taco spot for the first time and I'll definitely be back! It's located in the back corner of the plaza but they have a big sign that says "Tacos" so you can't miss it. I ordered take out - while I waited for it to be ready they offered me chips and salsa, the salsa was so good and I'm not normally a salsa person. (It's one of the employees secret recipe) delicious! Quesadilla de pollo and taco de pollo were both fire! *Note they didn't have to give me chips and salsa because I ordered take out so that didn't go unnoticed and it's truly appreciated. You experience The real Mexican culture with the smiling faces of the very family that owns the spot and absolutely jaw dropping food from the Esqites to the burritos to the tacos. this place was nice and clean. The location is not far from my home and usually to get anything that resembles mexican i would drive to homestead. this place has a wonderful pozole soup (hominy corn soup). there street tacos are pretty good but avoid the chicharone taco as its actually boiled fat in tomatillo sauce and has no crunch. the queso fundido with chorizo. had more chorizo than queso but was very tasty. as far as serving sizes based on to go versus on location eating. there seem to be little difference. i ordered both was to check as alot of places have been buying smaller to go containers lately but this place did not do that. fair warning if ordering queso fundido they include tortillas not chips with it so if you want crunch tortillas you will need to ask for them read more

This is my go to Mexican spot in Miami. It's one of the only two restaurants that I have visited in Miami that offer authentic Mexican cuisine. The complimentary chips with salsa verde were so good! The best salsa verde I've had. We also had some guacamole that was out of this world. I ordered a birria burrito which was a solid 8.5/10, and my wife ordered some enchiladas with green sauce that were super tasty. The place is like a hole in the wall but it is very nice inside. The theme and decoration fits very well and it honestly makes the food taste better. It's a family owned and ran restaurant and the servers are very attentive.
