Im not sure how this restaurant has so many good reviews... when I went they ran out of chicken and all of the food is a very americanized version of authentic mexican food. Also very expensive for the lack of quality and location. read more

I don't normally travel to smaller restaurants that I have not heard of but my co worker chose this for this night and I was skeptical but I like to give everyone a shot. I was completely wrong about this place. It was amazing. Each food platter that was brought out was better than the previous all the way leading up to my main course a chicken burrito. All of the food was brought out and looked like an ad on tv. The server was excellent and was one of the owners sons. He helped us out on some suggestions. At the end of the night we got to meet the owner and it is 100% a place I will be coming back to next time I am in Miami. read more

This place was a gigantic disappointment. First off the service was terrible, seemed like they didn't want to be there and were annoyed with everything. I asked what the choriqueso was accompanied with, since apparently it wasn't tortilla chips, and the guy gave me attitude like I'm supposed to know how they do things already. The service was slow, unfriendly, and honestly just careless. And we had 2 waiters, and they were still slow and didn't care at all. Full order: 3 Tacos and Choriqueso Complimentary Chips and Slasa This was, sadly, the best food we were given, and it's the throwaway free food. It wasn't great, but from free chips and salsa I don't expect great so it's ok. But the fact that it's the best food you are going to get, it's really disappointing. 3 Tacos: Chicken, Steak, Carnitas The tacos were just not it. The meats were dry, the tortillas was stale, the ingredients weren't proportioned well and nothing tasted good or fresh, they were just not good tacos, regret ordering 3, should've ordered one at a time, because I would've been one and done. Choriqueso So this is what I was most looking forward to, because the server hyped it up a bit and pushed us to buy it, but, IT NEVER CAME. We were there for over an hour, had eaten all our tacos already 2 chips and salsas, and went to the bathroom, and our APPETIZER, which was just melted cheese and chorizo somehow wasn't done yet. So, I got up told the guy, "I don't want the choriqueso anymore, CANCEL THE ORDER". He replied with, "It'll be out in 5 minutes, don't worry". I told him, "I don't want the choriqueso, it's been way too long, I don't want it anymore". He replied with, "Oh ok, so you want it to go, I'll pack it now, one moment". So for a third freaking time I had to tell him, "No CANCEL the order, it took over an hour for this and it's still not out, and you never even bothered to say anything to us or apologize for the ridiculous wait over some melted cheese and chorizo so I don't want it anymore, CANCEL THE ORDER." Finally he cancelled it, didn't even apologize or admit a mistake, just looked at me like I was the a**h**e and, of course, I paid right then there, NO TIP, because he deserves to get fired instead, and I left. In the end this place was terrible, the only reason I'm giving it a 2 star and not a 1 star was because that paper towel dispenser was hot, best I've seen. But as for the food, not good, TERRIBLE SERVICE, and SOOO MANY better places and options to get tacos and Mexican food in general. Please, no one waste money here. read more

We were walking past and noticed some live music and dancing. Everyone was having a good time. We decided to stop in and order some tacos. I've eaten a lot of tacos in my life but this place takes them to a whole new level. These were hands down the best I've had. Was in the mood for some Mexican food and found this place on google. I wasn't going in with any expectations because it was a spontaneous decision. But... I am glad I came here! This place is a cute little Mexican restaurant in the corner of a shopping center. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Complimentary chips and salsa were given and we exchanged our salsa for a spicer one (we are Mexican and love spicy) I seen on their menu that they offered esquites (corn in a cup) I was very excited to see one of my favorite Mexican treats on their menu... the corn was nice and warm with tangy flavors. I enjoyed the sauce they put on top which I believe was chipotle. Delicious! Never had an esquite like that. I ordered 3 tacos... 2 steak and 1 carnitas. The tortillas were soft and kind of greasy but I honestly thought they were good that way. They are not stingy with their meat portions! So you will get full. For dessert we ordered churros (Moms favorite dessert) we asked for chocolate sauce and raspberry. They were nice and crunchy. A great way to end our meal! Service was great! Ordered to go the Naco combo which includes a drink, flan, mini burrito and taco. Also ordered a steak quesadilla. Food came out fast. Got home and the mini burrito was a chicken quesadilla which wasn't too big of a difference but still was disappointing. The steak quesadilla was good just not very filling. Flan was a gross texture and ended up not eating it. Overall food tasted good but portions for 2 could have been better for the 25$ price tag. read more
