Been wanting to try the Spicy Tater Fries since they came out, and finally decided to order some for delivery when I was visiting my family. We all ordered the Spicy Tater Fries, which I really enjoyed. We got a couple of the Spicy Ranch, which was 29 cents each for the small-sized cups. We also got a couple of the Crisp Burritos, which I didn't realize you can order them extra crispy, which we would have preferred, and also a couple of the Habanero Soft Burritos. Everything was tasty. We enjoyed everything except that our order was a little messed up. Taco Time has the best QUALITY food of any drive through restaurant chain. Fresh ingredients, quality cheddar cheese, delicious beef, chicken, and vegetables. Their hot sauce is legendary. This location has been consistently good for years. Why some people praise them but only give 4 stars is ridiculous! If you're a PNW native, then you LOVE Taco Time. If you don't... Are you okay?? In my opinion, Taco Time is one of the best fast food options around. It is a little on the pricier side, but the quality is definitely there. I've been a hundred times, but my orders are pretty consistent because I can't bring myself to branch out and try anything new. My favorites are the #1 Soft Burrito (but I always add sour cream and guac to really load it up) and the #2 Crisp Burrito. If you're like me and you THINK you can eat a full sized adult meal but you really CAN'T, the mini time meals are where it's at! I usually do the Crisp Burrito Mini Time, which really just comes with about half the amount of tater tots and still a full sized crisp burrito. Hard to say if the beef or chicken is my favorite. Another highlight of Taco Time is their ranch always SLAPS. Someone I know used to work there and told me they make it fresh everyday, and I believe it. It's Taco Time. I've been eating it since the 70's. Like most chains, the food quality has dropped significantly over the last 10 years. That said, once in a while, it scratches an itch. I wouldn't normally wrote a review for mediocre fast food, albeit better than most fast food, but I stopped in at the Fife location and as last time, Nichole took my order and is really a boost to this place. She's very friendly, always chipper, and a hard worker. The restaurant was very clean, and it appears it's because Nichole is out cleaning up between counter orders. I just wanted to give credit where it is due. This is truly a 3-star meal, but Nichole gets this location as close to a 5-star as possible without improving the food quality. This was our first meal when landing in Seattle-Tacoma, Washington! We were hoping to dine-in, but sadly the dine-in closes at 7pm and we arrived there a little past that time. At least the drive-thru was open until 10pm. The five of us in the car each got a meal, and it took a while for the worker to make it. But then again, she was the only one working, and our Tacoma friends did mention that their food is made with fresh ingredients. The worker also asked if we wanted any hot sauce, and our friend said a handful, and we literally did get a handful of just 4 sauces. I guess it would've been better to be more specific. LOL. I got the #9 Two Fish Bajas Meal with a Fanta drink and tater tots, and I remember that it was really good! I'm not sure if it was because I was hungry since we just got off the plane, but the fish was warm and cooked just right, and the ingredients for the baja (shredded cabbage and creamy white sauce) tasted fresh, and overall it was so delicious. Also, the tater tots were warm, crunchy, and crispy! Adding the hot sauce to the fish baja and dipping the tots in it, it was so yummy! My belly was beyond satisfied. my husband and I have been coming to taco time for many many of years but today we by far had the best experience they were very friendly and the food was great like always. They got the food made and ready to bring to use before we even got to sit down now that's great fast customer service. They even came by to check and see how everything was going and asked if we needed a refill on our drinks. Taco Time is a unique place that is definitely not Mexican or even Tex-Mex but is a unique Northwest style. Good fresh wholesome food - I like the burritos with beef. I just never understood the "Mexi-fries" though those are potato tots. I'd give them three (fast food) stars but their taco sauce seems like it's just dried red pepper flakes soaked in water. When I first ran across Taco Time it was in Missoula, MT and I really enjoyed the food and the variety and quality of the salsas. They had a half dozen different salsas which they make fresh every day. The Big Juan burrito was probably the best fast Mexican I have ever had. Of course in Western Washington Taco Time is an entirely different beast. The menu is focused on using fresh local ingredients which is a good thing but there is no Big Juan and the salsa selection is one - which is pretty damn tame. I stopped in to this location since I-5 traffic was crap and the tummy was rumbling. I ordered the fish tacos which come on double corn tortillas with a creamy sauce and a mix of cabbage, carrots and diced pepper. Even with the "hot" sauce the whole thing was really bland. I would have to say the component with the most flavor was the corn tortillas. I have tried a few other items at Taco Time and other than the seasonal chipotle chicken burrito everything has been extremely bland as if their target audience was on Social Security. Service was ok, pretty much average for a fast food place. I think I am going to hold off on hitting TT again until I pass through Missoula again. read more

They've got a new Coke Freestyle machine, and it's worth it just for that. If you don't know what that is, Google it, then stop in and experience the glory. Food is always good, (it's Taco Time people) but can get a little spendy if you eat here often. I like Taco Time, its one step above Taco Bell and one step below a full blown restaurant. This location is one of the better ones around the area in my opinion. I usually come here for lunch so I don't get too much, I normally stick to their Chicken taco salad and the white chicken chili. I was very impressed with my two tacos I had the other day from Taco Time so tonight I decided to swing by with my wife (All of this was planned so that I could get a blackberry shake at Pick Quick down the road- about that, I thought they were open until 10pm. You place your order, they give you a number thing and then bring out your food. Good service! Our food took a little while longer than usual to come out and the nice lady apologized when she brought out our food and even hooked it up with some free Crustos.....they are bunuelos. Little tortilla pieces fried and coated in cinnamon sugar. They were tasty! Food was good. I will confirm it again, the taco shells they use here are the best hard taco shells I have ran across at any fast food taco type place. They are great! The bean and cheese burrito was good as well. I was giving taco time a second chance and they disappointed me yet again. When we got there there was no other customers and four people working. They took our order and took awhile to make it but all the foot was fresh so I understood the delay. It wasn't until we left that we realized that they gave us the wrong order. I come here all of the time. I work in the area. Everything has been perfect until last week when I went inside instead of the long drive-thru. I ordered the usual Baja Fish, Minifry and a water. I was upset when the cashier tried to pour me water from a pitcher sitting out that was yellowish. I told her to keep the water. I was tempted to ask for my money back. She then poured some from the drivethru window, it was also mixed with lemonade. She finally gave me a cup to pour WATER on the side for customers. We got one order of mexi fries instead of two, and that one order was maybe halfway full, and that's being generous. Not only that, but over half of the little tots looked like they had been sat on. Also, the chicken soft taco that'll set you back $8.99 was no better than the soft taco you get from Taco Bell for 99 cents. I think they actually tried to make food this horrible. Food was probably the best i have had when you compare it to Taco bell. This place was close to where I was and enabled me to get something quick and easily at a decent price.
