Well after YET another drive thru meal that isn't complete I am writing this. They get two because food is fine and i am the idiot who goes here weekly and still doesn't hold up the line to dig through my bag and double check. I have been coming here once a week on average for a year and NEVER once have i gotten a complete order. Tonight as i ate a dry taco salad for lack of hot sauce they even asked me if i wanted, i have had it. Man I love this place so I work out almost everyday and order the same number 15 with 2 chicken crisp burritos once a week as my cheat meal. These guys have a the courage to say you know what we are gonna give you just one chicken crisp burrito with your number 15 meal because you may SAY that in your order but really you don't need the extra burrito... We went to taco time last week around 8:30pm after our weekly grocery shopping trip. We ordered 2 chicken soft taco meals and ended up with one chicken and one beef. Of course we didn't open our meals and realize they were wrong until we arrived home. When we went to taco time a couple days later (we love taco time) we mentioned the mistake and we're not offered a coupon or even apology for getting the wrong order. Most times I've been to this location service is pretty good. However today the lack of communication that they were out of chicken after order after order came through. The best communication would've been to give the customer to wait. Both the drive through time and the wait time inside was bad. Once the manager was made aware it was made like it wasn't a big deal and that they ran out of chicken. Communication would've gone a long way. No comp is needed if I was given the choice upfront to wait or order something else.. Cancelled the order and then was given it free. I only get their chicken enchilada platters which are always good. They also have the BEST tater tots, or mexi-fries as they call it.

Good soft taco and the tots are alway yummy. The prices are fairly reasonable. The only downside was that there was no hot sauce with the take out order and the server didn't ask if any hot sauce was needed. read more

This location is always fast and the food is fresh, only once have the given me a crisp beef burrito rather than the crisp bean I ordered which is fine by me as long as they don't mess up again. I am really going to miss Taco Time when I move to AZ for school next fall but I will always get Taco Time when I come visit because the ranch sour cream is to die for! read more

We bought 10 items and were only given 4 salsas. After being ignored by the register kid and whom I believe was some form of supervisor since she was barking instructions to the staff, I asked for 5 more and this beeyatch says they're $.25 each. I replied we both 10 items and I have to pay for salsas that I should've already received? @ least 1 salsa per item? She rudely walked away saying "well they're not free!" Really? So I said "neither were the 10 items we spent $25 on! " I was then ignored and the kid actually asked "so do you want to buy more salsa?" I liked at him, shook my head in disgust and walked away. So, my recommendation is to NEVER go to this location on 176th/Canyon! Customer service does NOT exist here! Go to the one on Meridian and experience good visit service! If I could give this restaurant less than one star I would. The employees couldn't get an order correct without having to repeat it multiple times, and couldn't even put the correct number of hot sauce that was asked for in my drive thru bag. . Upon hauling myself out of my car and going all the way inside and explaining to the employee at the counter (who was clearly stoned on weed) that they didn't give us what we asked for in our bag, I was instruct "hot sauce pump is right there". Absolutely horrible customer service. I will be going to the other Taco Time in the future, even though it is slightly further from me. At least they provide good customer service. read more

The folks at this Taco Time location really know their stuff. Of particular note is the exceptional Cilantro Lime Chicken Salad, a flavorful and moderately healthy choice over any burger or sandwich. Filling and fresh, it could easily feed 2. Paired with their fabulous Guacamole and chips, it makes a wonderful light dinner. Not quite as successful is the Pinto Bean Crisp Burrito, which is woefully devoid of flavor or spice and went into the trash after the first bite. I have ate at several Taco Time's, 2 in Spokane Wa. I wish the managers would come to this one & find out what they are doing right to make their food the best. Everything always tastes fresh, every single time, I could eat there every single day & never get tired of their food. The staff are very friendly make you feel very welcome. We are big fans of Taco Time, and this one is the best in the area. The workers are friendly and they always seem to want to go the extra mile for us. We eat here all the time. Whenever we've had a problem with our order, they take care of it right away and without complaint. Many of the low ratings I see on here are about the drive-thru. Yes, the drive-thru is popular. Expect to wait a while for your food in the drive-thru. If you are in a hurry, don't use the drive-thru. It's popular because it's good. We don't drive-thru. We always go inside. No problems there. Coming from Southern California my expectations for Mexican food is always high but seeing that this wasn't even an authentic restaurant I already knew this place wasn't going to be awesome. I ordered a beef soft taco and it was absolutely bland the beef looked so processed and refined it made my stomach churn. Taco bell is even better than this establishment. I believe my husband ordered the enchilada platter and he seemed content with his but he is also from Illinois. I order my daughter a chicken soft taco or burrito? Off the kids menu and I actually took a bite, it wasn't bad actually so I'm glad she was able to enjoy her meal too. With their combos they received chips but we didn't receive any salsa? Not sure if we are supposed to ask or the hot sauce by the entrance is what we are supposed to get ourselves and use? Which by the way I actually really like, their hot sauce is pretty damn good and their fried cinnamon sugar tortilla chips as well. So since my husband and daughter liked their meals and they have great hot sauce and cool cinnamon sugar tortilla chips I give them 3 stars. read more
