    Crispy bean burrito, mexifries

My favorite Mexican fast food! I have always loved Taco Time especially their crisp bean burritos which you can't find anywhere else. So delicious with their original hot sauce has had the same classic taste for years! I hope they never change a thing! Their fruit empanadas are so tasty, just like fresh pie out of the oven.

We don't have these in Denver, but was introduced by my brother when they were in Kansas at one time. So now, when we see one, we definitely have to make a special stop at it. So many items so little time to enjoy it. I would love for TT to come out to Colorado, to give it some different zest than Taco Bell, Del Taco, and Taco John's.

And no I didn't eat any before taking this picture I should've checked before I got home.

It is ok to get a fast food taco. I had 2 tacos for $6. A good deal. They are connected to a gas station so that is good.

Don't eat at taco time, I literally just witnessed one of their workers use the restroom and walk out without washing her hands! Disgusting.

We decided to…read morego to lunch, he wanted to try Peppers Cantina I was a little reluctant because the last time I had eaten there, it was not a good experience. But he was in a hurry so we tried it. The experience was once again not good. I ordered a veggie burrito with beans inside the burrito with no rice. I repeated the no rice twice. What I got was a burrito filled with rice a very small amount of onions and peppers. No beans. The young man that served us apologized, and said he was hard of hearing and there machine was broken so the order had to be hand written. He mumbled something about the cook. But no offer to resolve the problem.

About 10 minutes later a girl comes and presents me with the enchilada on a cold plate in the enchilada look like it was squished down and dry. I used my fork to cut it, and it was hard to cut. The rice and beans weren't bad, but I think some young girl in the kitchen cooked this. I'm thinking it was my waitress that cooked it. On top of that, as I'm eating, there's a small bug very tiny bug on the table running around. I tried to swat it to no avail. I told you waitress about the bug and left. This place comes on like some popular festive Mexican restaurant but it's a joke. Do not eat there. By the way it's my second time probably two years ago I went and it was terrible and I thought maybe they'd corrected things.

Our waitress, Elydia, was very attentive and promptly refilled our drinks and chips whenever she noticed they were running low. The complimentary chips and salsa were excellent. The chips tasted freshly made, and we were served two salsa (mild and hot) both packed with flavor. The hot salsa was not as spicy as I anticipated but well seasoned and tasty. I ordered the combo plate with two hard-shell shredded beef tacos, served with rice and refried beans. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. My husband chose the veggie fajitas, which featured a nice medley of mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and zucchini. He requested black beans with no cheese or sour cream, and the rice and beans plate included a dollop of guacamole. His meal also came with handmade flour tortillas that were soft, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were seated immediately, and our meals arrived within just a few minutes. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and if we're ever back in the area, we would definitely return.
