We recently decided to go back and have been a handful more times before writing this update. Wow. My food didn't look thrown together half wrapped. It was all packed so neat and tight and was so good. It seems my tacos were fuller looking and just a nicer take out bag over all! Yummy. read more

Terrible burrito. Waited 15 minutes to even order with no one ahead of me. The food was very bland with no flavor. Not worth a penny.

When I received my order, sauce was not what I ordeted (red vs green), One staff member says to another, "the customer is not always right". No offer to correct the order, goes on to say that is not how the burrito come. read more

I live in Nevada but used to live in Oregon and I miss this place SO much! Every time I visit, I get a crispy meat burrito and mexi fries. I go through the drive thru so can't speak for inside, but I love that it's consistent. It's the same every time, and that's comforting to me. She's calling it a "replacement burrito" I'm calling it, the burrito you forgot to put in the bag and then on to blame the customer for a stolen burrito. VEGAN'S BEWARE, stay away from the Veneta Oregon TacoTime!!!! Where to begin... After a long weekend working very hard I thought I would treat my vegan family to the taco time that was near our new home, big mistake. First off five items were screwed up, the prices are ridiculously high for what we got. I only took a few pictures Because this was so disappointing and depressing... veggie burritos which were nearly 6 dollars apiece didn't have the diced veg in them they had a couple tomatoes some lettuce some beans and they didn't even supply guacamole like they were supposed to I am so disappointed I will never eat there again! The soft tacos were gross and disgusting, they left off the lettuce, they didn't sub guacamole on any of the things... And when I brought back my son black bean side I was told that container with only literally two spoonfuls in the bottom of the container was the normal order. Literally 2 tablespoons of beans for two dollars folks, what's a vegan supposed to do? If this is a franchise, TacoTime should divorce them, none of the food looks like the website, the vegan salad that they have at the metropolitan taco times was NOT available, and general speaking I felt like they were hostile to vegans, just a pile of being squished it wasn't even warm thrown in paper bags... the vegetarian burrito with only some bean squish a little bit of lettuce and a few sunflower seeds in it, deplorable! I work hard for my money and I am so so disappointed. So disappointed this is the first negative review I've ever written. So I'm doing a very enthusiastic job... Chipotle from here on out, Taco Bell is better than this, my cats litter box is better than it's not that I know or I'm going to check... I just really felt like they were hostile to vegans none of this looked like the pictures on the menu and everything that was cool that I hope to get a taco time wasn't available there at all. Food was cold and tasteless. Every table was dirty. Avoid this place as much as possible.

If you buy something with toppings like tomatoes and lettuce, you expect that.... I should have taken a pic, but was at work and in a hurry and hungry! But it got the tiniest little 1/16 of a piece of tomato on my taco, it was ridiculous. I was already gone and at work so could not return, but they should have better quality control than that. Yes one taco was great but the 2nd was was disrespectful. They just didn't care... 2 crisp tacos made at same time and one had the correct amount and one basi basically had none, was just laziness and no one caring. The workers act like it's so hard to do things properly... they would rather flirt with each other and I gnome the customers.... this is unacceptable! I will never be back here again. It's Taco Time, so there's nothing exciting to write home about. Lol. The drive-thru seems far slower than inside the restaurant. I would not recommend using the drive-thru. Employees are actually pretty nice in here. They seem happy and friendly, which is always a plus. I never expect anything spectacular from a fast food restaurant, but this one is pretty decent. Food is typical Taco Time food. There is absolutely nothing different than any other location. It tastes fine, there is nothing wrong with the food here. The restaurant itself always seems like they just had a rush and no one has had a chance to clean up. Which tells me they don't clean up consistently. Although, they do keep the floor clean. I have never encountered a sticky floor. Which is nice. The one thing that is unique at this restaurant is they sell bottles of their sauce, the mild and green sauce. So if you love the sauce, you can buy bottles instead of hording a bunch of little sauce packets. Lol. Will I return? I am sure I will. If I need something quick to eat on my way to the coast, this is where I typically stop. read more

I love Mexifries! I had a craving as I drove by, went to the drive through and ordered 2 large Mexifries. I asked if they could sprinkle extra of the salt/spices mix on my order. The lady said she couldn't understand me on the microphone and asked me to pull up to the window. I asked her if they could sprinkle extra seasoned salt on my order. She said that Mexifries don't come with anything other than just plain salt! I was a little taken back from her comment, I have ordered Mexifries for years and they always had little red specks of some type of seasoned salt on them!! This employee said that they never have any thing other than plain salt. I paid for my order, and it was just plain salt on tater tots!! Has Taco Time changed their Mexifries??? Going into the taco time in Veneta was very cool. Yes, I mean air conditioning, and thank you for it, it was hot outside! My impression was a comfortable atmosphere. They weren't busy customer-wise, but they were still all working. None of these kids were sitting around twiddling their thumbs, and that to me was impressive. The restaurant was clean--mopped, swept, and clean tables. The crew were all smiling and I even got a greeting as soon as I walked through the door. I was given another smile as I was given my food. I heard 'pleases' and 'thank you's' from the crew. These were courteous young adults that made a great impression on me and I thank them all for the great customer service and nice experience for my dinner. This location is really hit or a total miss. Sometimes it's decent but like today I ordered two crunchy tacos. Spent over $3.00 and both tacos were pretty much a lettuce taco. There wasn't even taco meat on one end of both tacos. Pretty bummed to be honest. Amazing food at a super price. This is the restaurant I always hit on my way back from the coast. Whether it is the drive through or dine in option, nothing but friendly, fast service. I love their tacos, and they are filled to the brim every time with a lot of meat etc. I also love their specials, something new and fun always. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I went inside and waited 30 minutes for my to go food because they kept messing up and when I finally left my order still wasnt right. I also noticed that the floors were sticky the soda machines were out of flavoring and no one in the kitchen was wearing gloves. A week or so later we went through the drive through to get a quick bite of food and we wanted in the drive through to take our order for 15 minutes and waited at the window for another 15. I hate writing bad reviews, but the food here was awful. I truly do not think they use 100% meat, I don't know what they use for filler but they are using something. The shredded lettuce tasted like it was right out of a bag, with lots of preservatives too. And the plate looked like a sloppy garbage heap, ugh. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one, is because the staff was nice. My husband calls it TacoTurd, and he is not nearly as picky as me. read more

This review based on 7-31-2019 visiit at 6pm This location has lost its luster!!!!! Dietary restrictions require to order special. Of course the order is taken correctly but the snail paced employees are just robots that are minimum wage people putting in their time and it's certainly not TacoTime. I guess they just don't realize what reflections it puts on the company. In addition to putting cheese on my salad that I ordered, the forgot the tortilla chips. My meal was cold because I had to wait so long for the chips. For almost a $20 meal for 2 people it was a waste. Never wasting my $$ here again!!!!!!! I'm willing to pay higher prices due to the wage increase but not for uncaring employees!! However did they manage to handle the country fair traffic so sad. We prefer to go to the drive thru, especially since last time i was in the restaurant I went to the bathroom (I've went in the past and there were no locks so beware)..knocked twice on the door..no answer. I know it's taco time but even this place is worse than a regular one. It's dirty. The floors are sticky. The tables are never clean and some of the booths have falling apart cushions. This place needs a major remodel. I did give a star for the friendly staff. It does have that going for it. I don't think I will back to this taco time. read more

This place is nit a good establishment and James is the one that doesn't wear gloves when he handles your food and I keep calling back and asking for cooperate number and they keep hanging up on me.
