I've been here a couple months ago, and it's wild to see how much it has grown in popularity. The last few times we have visited, it has been packed or overflowing with customers. A good sign, if you ask me! The tacos are uniquely curated and not your typical selection. I had a Smashburger taco, because I love ground beef, and also a delicious shrimp taco. Any one you get, it is tasty, fresh, prepared right in front of your eyes, and my best of all- so colorful! There is a salsa/sauce/lime bar, which is constantly refilled and has plenty of to-go cups and boxes. I cannot recommend the Agua de Horchata drink enough. When I see Horchata on a menu, I automatically gravitate towards it. Here, the drink is not too thick or overwhelming in flavor. It is nicely balanced with the cinnamon and milky tastes. If you get the 16 oz, the drink comes in a cute square shaped cup. Love this taco joint and coming by every so often to see what is new on the menu and how well they are doing. There is plenty of parking in the plaza lot. If you are in the area, I highly recommend. Definitely worth a shot!

It's a curse because everything is so effing delicious and it's so far from my home! One of my daughters recommended Taco Empreso as she is a regular customer. She even spotted my nephew eating here one evening, who came all the way from Brooklyn lol. So there were three of us, who ordered an assortment of items to share. Let's start with the tacos... We ordered the Baja shrimp, Baja fish, steak, birria, asado chicken and shrimp Ensenada. Every single taco was finger licking with distinct flavors that were sooo sooo good. I could not decide on a favorite. We also shared birria fries, which were AWESOME! If I ever return... you know the rest lol. The meat was juicy, flavorful and melted in my mouth. The marinaded chicken and beef were succulent and the flavors subtly stood out. We also ordered a steak burrito, which was Cali-style with fries instead of rice. The steak was flavored, tender, and crave-able. A popular must have! We added a birria quesadilla, which was also epic. Lastly, the frozen pina coladas! Get it! The food is road trip worthy! Finally, there was a consistent line, but these dudes were so organized. The orders were getting out in a timely manner. It's also worth the wait!!!

Without all that extra love, the burrito is already a solid contender. With it? They pushed this thing into a whole new tier of delectableness... like "love at first bite" good. Side note for my sodium-conscious folks: The consommé recipe has glowed up since the last time I tried it here (maybe 1-2 yrs ago). Back then it was flavorful but WAY too salty... the kind of salty that triggers migraines and has your ankles looking like they're prepping for Q4 retention bonuses. Now, it's perfectly balanced, plays nice with your bloodstream! #winning (side side note: I might be confusing my past experience with the birria ramen) Cost to Benefit Analysis: $81 for 3 loaded burritos, 1 loaded chicken nacho, 1 piece of tres leches cake, and 3 waters is no small sum of dinero. But considering our high level of satisfaction with order efficiency, taste, presentation and portion size, my family has zero regrets on this visit. Won't hesitate to come again, occasionally.

Stumbled across Latin Port and honestly, this place overdelivered. I ordered the arepas with cheese, and you can immediately tell these are handmade. The texture was perfect and the cheese was high quality, rich, melty, and just really satisfying. I completely dropped the ball and didn't ask for the cabbage toppings (which I later realized are supposed to pull everything together), so that's on me but even without them, they were still a win. Next up were the tostones, which came with this dipping sauce, maybe avocado-lime? I'm not entirely sure, but whatever it was, it worked. It tied the whole dish together and elevated what could've been a simple side into something memorable. Now, the real standout: the Cuban roasted chicken. This tasted like it came straight out of someone's grandmother's kitchen. Super juicy, packed with flavor, and just comforting in the best way. Easily the highlight of the entire meal. I also tried the tres leches cake for dessert, and while everything else hit, this one just didn't land for me. It wasn't bad, just lacking the flavor I was expecting. Overall, though, Latin Port is absolutely worth it. If you're looking for flavorful, home-style food that feels like it's made with care, this spot delivers!

Chicken Tacos: There was barely any chicken in the taco itself. All they put was a soft shell and a bunch of onions on top of it. Beef Tacos: The beef does not seem like it was cooked all the way and they barely put any beef in the taco. All they put was a soft shell and a bunch of onions on top of it. Chips & Guac: The chips tasted a bit stale and lacks flavor. The guac was just OK. Chips & Salsa: The chips tasted a bit funny and did not taste good at all. I only got this because someone in a previous review said it was amazing which was a lie. The salsa had a bad taste to it as well. Overall: This restaurant is mediocre and the food sucks here. They need to change the cooks to make the food taste better, change the staff so there is better service. It is definitely not worth $6 for 2 tacos that were not even full tacos. It is basically paying $6 for 1 taco since they are so cheap on the meat itself. Why would I want to pay $6 for a soft shell? I do not want to pay that much just to eat a freaking piece of soft shell which is like eating bread itself. I would probably get my moneys worth at Taco Bell instead. I definitely do not recommend this horrible restaurant to anyone.

I prefer before so I don't binge shop because I am hungry. They have happy hour specials at certain times where the margaritas are $1 off. I've been here twice and had the nachos both times because they are memorable. They come on a half sheet tray so the nachos are spread out and toppings are placed all over. Queso, black beans, radishes, cherry tomatoes, cotija cheese, cilantro, scallions, and crema. No fresno chiles for me thanks. The queso is very mild which I love top it with a fresh cherry tomato and that's my favorite part of the whole meal. I ordered with chicken once and it didn't really add to the whole meal so I don't mind getting it without chicken again. The margaritas are good. I've tried the blood range and pineapple mint. The thing that changes my experience here is the way the service is set up. You order at the register on the side. I don't know what it is but when paying with card it takes forever and a day. They need to work on that. I don't know if it's the internet or that it's a restaurant but Whole Foods gets paid it takes SO long. Also I get confused about the bar concept. You sit there and I expect to be able to order drinks but I've never been taken care of there. They just gave me the order and that was it. Why have a bar if you still have to go to the side register and place your drink orders, unless it's allowed I just never knew. These things will not stop me from going back since I love the nachos.
