These nachos were Amazing!! Loved every single bite. I was very impressed on the size of my order, thank goodness I was sharing It. But we still managed to take left overs home. Staff was efficient, not very talkative. We sat at the counter to strike up a conversation but they worked in silence. Our drinks were very good. I had a margarita and a beer. The place is new so It was spotless. Not yet sure what kind of vibe this will have. The outdoor seating was ready to be used but It was quite windy and brisk out. I would go back to try another item on their menu and hopefully their outdoor patio.

As much as I want to love this place with its outdoor string lights and fun decor, I can't say much more than it being okay. I went to an authentic family-owned Mexican restaurant recently and that really put into perspective what this place lacks. One small gripe is that I can't order 3 tacos since the tacos come in orders of 2. 2 tacos aren't enough for me and 4 are too much, plus I do not want to be spending $12 for tacos. Additionally, the actual flavor of the tacos are okay, but not anything that would draw me back here. The jalapeños do give a nice kick but the proteins, white sauce, and taco shell are lacking in seasoning. While satisfying, the tacos don't really make me want to come back here that often. What I do like about Comida Fresca is that it's a fast casual restaurant where they bring the food to you, but you get your own water and seat yourself so no tip required. It's interesting to see Whole Foods explore other cuisines, but much is to be desired in the flavors, including the Asian cuisine options that they have available inside the store. I'm curious about the other options that they offer here, so I'm willing to try those and maybe update my review. For now, I am okay with not coming back for some time so that I can get my taco cravings fulfilled elsewhere. If you're looking for a quick fix of Mexican food, then Comida Fresca is the place for you!

Had lunch here with my mom recently. The menu is decent with vegan options available. Tacos, nachos, salads and soups. I got the vegan tacos and my mom opted for the chicken tortilla soup. The tacos were like Mexican street taco style. It only came with two tacos for $8 with no sides or anything else included. My vegan tacos were very tasty, with cauliflower rice in place of meat. I enjoyed it but nothing too amazing. My mom enjoyed the soup which came with a generous amount of tortilla chips and some raw peppers on the side. My mom said there was a little kick to the soup. The service was not that good. One of their registers wasn't working and the other one was slow. There was only one person working the front/bar area. You order at the front, seat yourself and then they bring out your food when it's ready. The food came out pretty fast. The drink list looked good. I would probably come back just to get a margarita during happy hour. There is outside seating when it's warm out.

They stay true to their name "Comida Fresca" which means "Fresh Food". Definitely a million times better, fresher and healthier than Chipotle and Qdoba, this is definitely much higher quality food than these two chains and most local Mexican restaurants. The good: the Baja Fish Tacos so, so good! You won't be disappointed. Also had the Poke Tacos and while they were pretty good they where nowhere near as good as the Baja Tacos. The Black Bean soup was also delicious and unlike the regular black bean soup from Whole Foods, this one is actually spicy; however, do keep in mind that it is almost twice as much as the same sized soup from Whole Foods. They give you the medium sized cup that I think is approximately $6 at Whole Foods for $10. The beer selection is not great, but they pick up the slack with the cocktails which are pretty decent. The old school pinball machines are also a great addition. Menu is simplified and not bombarded with a million dishes. The bad: the staff seemed overwhelmed even though it wasn't even that busy at all, food definetely took longer than it should have but maybe that's because this place is still relatively new so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Bottom line: enjoy the food, order a cocktail or two and make sure you try the Baja Fish Tacos!!

How do you screw up tacos? Had the lime chicken & beef tacos. Both were terrible. They looked real good, but seriously who wants to eat fake tofu sour cream? I took the rest home spiced them up with seasoning, cheese, lettuce, real sour cream and hot sauce. Much better. They have a bar too but it closes at 10pm.

Is there any happy hour food?

I agree with the first review. Food is decent. Not amazing. Guacamole Witt roasted corn and cities was nice. chips do not appear to be home made. Kale salad was heathy but I didn't find any jicama. Overall... What I expected. "Whole Foods inspired" MexiCAN food. p.s. building a wall is a stupid idea. But Maybe it will be a tourist attraction one day just like the Great Wall of China or the Berlin Wall.

Came here on a lunch date with my sister and cousin. I didn't believe that they served alcohol until I got there. I order the chorizo tacos, they were ok,a little bland but the sauces on the table really spiced it up, I used ninja squirrel sriracha sauce, very good btw . The nachos were really good and worth money, we got shrimp on top the nachos and there was a good amount of shrimp.

Baja fish tacos were very tasty!!!! Even though the portion looks small, they are very filling!! I also got a side of rice and black beans, very well seasoned !! A bit on the spicy side, which I don't mind. Staff was very friendly and attentive with our order! Will most likely come back for when I'm craving a quick Mexican fix! :)

This is a cute, fun, fast food place that serves alcohol. The tacos are awesome and yes you can't mix and match, but bring a friend and order two different flavors...not that big of a deal. Chips and salsa at $4 but it's a huge portion. The craft beers are great and the service excellent. They also have a fun interactive trivia night, on Thursdays. Fun for all.

It's a bit slow to get the food out but it's definitely due to the freshness. Two tacos for the price seemed high, but were really filling for their size, so they get a pass. Nashville chicken was great. The fish I found a bit blander.

The food itself was really good, but the music and atmosphere may have been even better. The vibe felt fun and energetic, and I can only imagine this place really comes alive at night. Big shout out to Yuri. Even though it was your first day, you were great. Keeping doing you and i hope to come back and see you. Now the food. The menu is small but has a lot i wanted to try. This time we got the yellowtail fritters, they were delicious. I would recommend that to anyone. We got the shrimp ceviche, which my partner loved. I didnt but that's because it has a coconut base and i don't love that flavor. The garlic rice was delicious and nicely fried that added a lot of texture if that makes sense. Lately, the vedura enchiladas. Omg what that decision. It was spicy and sweet due to corn and very savory. I was skeptical of the place due to it being Indian Mexican fusion but i am quite surprised and excited to have something like this here. Prices seem highly initially but once you taste the food, you will understand. It's quality.

Our server was very pleasant, but unfortunately didn't speak English at all so when my friend asked to pack up her food, they got rid of it instead. They gave back the charge receipt, but without the credit card and it took forever to get them back to the table. Overall, I liked it, but the end of our experience was not great. Quick update: my friend reached out to the manager because after throwing her away the offered to make her another but only sent her home with 2 ribs and the peppers without the chorizo that she didn't even touch our the veggies and plantains. We were stupid for not checking first for sure. She ate two of the three ribs so I don't even know where they got the second rib that they gave her. I'm assuming they remade them. The manager asked that she text instead because he didn't speak English and wanted to be able to use Google translate I'm bilingual so I understand the struggle, but not being able to speak to anyone including the manager in english is completely unacceptable, in my opinion. I really love this place and will always support local Businesses but after bringing in new patrons and having this experience I would not put my name on a recommendation for them again.

Let me start by saying both of these meals were AMAZING. Like I was shocked. The shrimp/beef we so tender and nicely flavored. The burrito itself really blended well with all of the ingredients (I.e. rice, pico, lettuce, etc.). The quesadilla was also just soooooo goood. The shredded chicken had a great flavor that I just wasn't expecting -- but in a good way lol That said, this business is new and there are little quirks that I hope will be ironed out soon. My burrito was terriblyyyyy wrapped-- I could barely eat it in one piece. As the employee was folding it I wanted to scream "noo baby no!" But he seemed so overwhelmed that I just left it alone. A floor manager (I think) was floating around and I could tell that she isn't typically rude but she clearly was drowning. Even when I smiled at her and said "thank you" she was so irritated with her coworker that she rolled her eyes. Again, I would call this out and say that she was being intentionally rude to the customers but literally anybody that was speaking to her was getting this reaction. So hopefully she does a better job of adjusting to the fast paced environment because it's a fast-food chain after all lol I will probably be back here, definitely for that burrito but also with the hopes that the service is a bit better. There was a manager (seemed to be the head of this location) that was very welcoming and helped us with our order. The cashier was also really friendly. Again, there was just a lot going on behind the counter so between numerous employees learning and several customers wanting food-- the organization just needs to improve.
