I love the food here and I preferred it over Taco Bell. But the GM here was very rude and no manners. From the time I order the food to making the payments and receiving the food. No smile only frowning. Don't know how she became the GM when she looks like she hates working there. I get home and they even did my order wrong. I frequent this Taco Villa location because it's close to work/home and they are always pretty fast. The food is good but often messy. This time there wasn't hardly anything in my burrito at all. Possibly a table spoon of meat and a table spoon of beans. I feel like it's a waste of time and money to get in my car, drive there, and order 1 burrito and then to get this! read more

Food is good however, the lady at the window was completely rude. At the speaker, we ordered 32oz drinks. When we pulled up to the window, without saying anything, she handed us 24oz cups. When we told her, she was really bothered having to go back and fix the mistake. We also paid for guac and sour cream. ($3 extra) and didn't receive. Neither did we receive straws. Ok, so Taco Villa isn't always so great.... But this location is a good one. It is always clean and the servers are always courteous. The food is made in a consistent manner. I must recommend the lady who is in charge of keeping it clean... she trains the workers to be considerate around the customers and how to keep counters, trash cans, everything clean. She really deserves to be working in a much classier place, but she said she does her work for God and not for the pay.... I really admire that!! read more

So I am on my way to New Mexico and in need of some grub. It's around lunch time and I wanted to stay close to where I need to be heading. There wasn't many options. Fast food, fast food or yep, fast food. There was also Taco Villa. Yeah, it is also among the fast food domain, but not a national chain, so there was slight hope. I could have gone into my Yelp app and found some good places, but there were out of the immediate area of where I wanted to stay. I ventured in, and checked out the options. Tacos, burritos, nachos and something called a taco burger. I did not get that. I went with a beef taco and a meat burrito and a drink. I kept it simple because I didn't know if this was going to be a Taco Hell kind of meal. The food was decent. What really caught my eye was the fresh salsa bar that also had whole jalapenos and habaneros. The habanero salsa was pretty good. My friend who I was visiting later that day apparently has a thing for the place. If she had known I was stopping there I would have had to bring her some food. It was good, would I go out of my way for this place? Probably not, but in a pinch, I wouldn't starve either. As I said, great salsa bar. read more

Love this location. It's always clean and the employees are exceptionally nice. That's why I give it 5 stars. Though I do understand they can get frustrated due to frantically getting hit with a lot of customers all at once during rush hour. Just beware, if you're a single person going inside to order a to-go order of multiple items you might get the snarky "Someone's hungry" comment from the employee taking the order, knowing damn well one person can't eat all that. But I understand, their job sucks balls and their pay sucks right along with those balls and they have to jab someone before the rush hour hits so they can feel good about themselves. Found this gem while coming through Amarillo headed for our AirB&B. Clean, friendly staff, quick service and EXCELLENT food!!!! We had crunchy tacos, deluxe nachos and a meat chalupa. All where absolutely delicious. The hot hot sauce was great but not super hot and the regular hot sauce was very good as well. Both tasted fresh made and everything was very delicious and very reasonably priced. We are hooked- will definitely stop here again on our next visit. Loved it!! read more

The food here is average, as far as Taco Villa goes. Taco Villa is a staple of many people in the Texas Panhandle. People will drive for miles and miles to get their special burritos. People that grew up here and live out of town cannot wait to go to taco Villa when they come to this area. I myself live about 50 miles away from the nearest Taco Villa, and have driven that far just to get it for a special treat. There is something so very special about their hot sauce in those little bitty packages that explode when you open them. This location is clean, friendly, but the food is just average. They do not make it special. The location on Amarillo Boulevard was much better than this one. Much better customer service, and the food was made with much more attention to detail. The one thing I really don't care for at this location and many of the other Taco Villa locations, is the fact that they play oldies music, from the 1950s. It is about time that they get with the times, and play at least 80s or above. This location is very convenient. read more

Order was initially wrong. Had to have Kristin go into the register to get the order corrected. Portions were wrong. Quality bad. No napkins, two taco sauces. Crew seemed confused. Order repeated back correct but I was given only a portion of my order. No return to this store. read more
