Found this little gem at the new Brickell Mall. It has a few kitchens and a variety of different tastes for everyone. I had the vegetarian cheese tacos with mushrooms-- can't recall the name. Delicious. But what really got me was the decorations, the art, it felt hip without being pretentious, while relaxed but classy. Understandably it's a little more expensive than I wanted, but the ambiance is what will bring me back. Young, fresh, hip and organic. Could you ask for anything more!? read more

Visited this place this past weekend with my boyfriend for the first time. He's been wanting to come to the place because of all the hype but I knew it would be a waste of our money (and who was right? ME). I had the shrimp tacos and my boyfriend and I shared chips and guacamole. I also had the pomegranate margarita. Only the chips and guacamole and the margaritas was good. However, the shrimp tacos was bland and tasteless. The atmosphere is great and all but food is . I would have rather go to Coyo which is up the street. Whoever like tasteless food this place is for you but if you're like me who doesn't care about spending money on really good food then go somewhere else. Big fan of this place, it's a very cool concept. The food is organized into several kitchens that speeds up the production of it. It's usually done and brought to you within 3 minutes of ordering on a tablet. The only downside to the tablet ordering is when it comes time to get the check sometimes you have to flag someone down. Food: Al pastor tacos are quite good and have been consistent all the times that I've gone there. If you're into desserts I also like the little cookie sandwiches that they have. Drinks: Margs are good and generally strong. Sodas are in cans and a bit over priced for volume. Atmosphere: it's a really fun place to take people from out of town (albeit if they have one night I probably wouldn't go there). The large screens give for a unique vibe and the patio (covered because it's in the mall) is really unique looking and good for pics. They also do special things from time to time. For example they gave out roses to mothers on the weekend of Mother's Day. Good touch! I want to taco bout how damn good this place was! I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I've heard a few people try it and I've seen a few pictures and I was intrigued. We were going to make reservations 2 weeks in advance but nothing was available for our desired time and date so we just showed up on a Friday afternoon in hopes it was not that busy. For the outside seating, we waited about 15 minutes which was not bad at all. We were seated in a booth/chair section with a faux fire behind us (see picture) sooo cute. The waiter came to the table and explained how everything works. You order your meals from an iPad and the foods come out when ready not all at once. They have numerous kitchens doing different foods so it is rather fast. The longest we had to wait was for drinks. NOW, THE FUN STUFF... Love that everything is kind of appetizer style because we can order multiple things and share. ** Queso Fundido - Melted cheese served with mini tortillas. This was a hit in our table as we finished one bowl and ordered a second one. **Shrimp Ceviche - Deliciously cooked shrimp with red sauce. Super good. **Red Snapper Ceviche - Another great Ceviche. I love when you eat fish but it's not fishy you know? This had a great flavor to it. **Elote preparado - another great hit in the table we ordered twice. The elote was among my favorite. The right amount of cheese to spicy powder combo with a good amount of char on the corn. **Trio Guac and chips - I love the spin that they did to guacamole. One of them was plain guac with the usual cilantro etc.. which was good. The second was Guac but with quinoa, corn, tomatoes, and onions. I've never had quinoa on my guac and that actually changed my taste bud's life. But the last one.... had pomegranate and seeds.. OMG SOOO GOOD! **Aguacate al grill - Avocado grilled to perfection with crispy kale on top. OMG if you like avocados, this.right.here.is.for.YOU... It's drenched in some sort of red magical sauce and you grab a piece of Avo + Kale + sauce and eat it as is. Yeah your taste buds are jumping of joy. **Special ribeye taco - Ribeye, chorizo, chicarron.. yeah those 3 put together on a corn tortilla with red sauce? I think YES. **Shrimp Taco - interesting enough these were served on shot glasses. 2 perfect shrimp tacos dumped into a shot glass with red sauce in the bottom. The drinks were amazing! all of them. When doves cry, DF No. 1, pomegranate margarita.. YUM. Service was great, the restaurant itself has super cute and very well detailed from the outside seating to the inside seating, food stations, music videos playing in the big screen. First off, let me start by saying, Brickell City Centre is amazing and is nice to stroll around. I took my boo to come eat here for his birthday (his first time here) and LOVED IT. It's a totally artsy, chilling vibe and the food is mouthwatering. Be ready to spend money here, but to me it was worth it. We sat outside in this comfortable laid back round table, had some luxurious looking drink. So we had a reservation and good thing cause it was POPPING. We got seated almost immediately and ordering food is through an iPad. We didn't even get greeted and my fat a** had already ordered an appetizer. Food comes out fairly quickly, service is quick. Positive: atmosphere is trendy, fun, and lots of different types of seatings. Food is very tasty. My favorite was the rock shrimp tostada, pastor tacos, elote preparado. Servers: very nice, informative about the menu. Negative: Busy, long wait, small plates (tacos come alone, no beans or rice so don't expect that), and a little pricey for the size of plates. The tacos were less than average and the prices were so high that it was funny, the drinks have almost no alcohol even tho they are really expensive. I was so impressed! Of course, the ambience and decor is absolutely beautiful, but the food doesn't stay behind. A group of friends and I came on a Thursday night and made reservations through Open Table. We had been wanting to try this place since it looked great from the outside and finally got around to try it. We ordered the jalapeño margaritas, nachos, tacos, pulpo ceviche, guac and chips and a few other dishes- all outstanding and very fresh. Everything came out relatively fast and cooked to perfection. Our waiter (I wish I remembered her name, maybe Ariadne?) was AMAZING. So nice, helpful and cheerful. You can really tell she loved what she was doing, which is so refreshing to see. The music and big screen makes you feel like you are not in town. This is the perfect spot to come with a group of friends or even with your significant other- guaranteed a good time because the vibe is something else. All the salsas were tasty and really complimented each dish in a particular way. I can't even imagine how packed this place will get once the movie theater opens and all the stores at BCC are completely open to the public, but one thing is for sure, I will be back in no time! read more

You place your order via the iPad (you can customize it as well), and then waiter brings it to your table. It never takes too long either...why??? Bc they have not one, not two, but 4 kitchens!!!! We sat on the patio but if you sit closer inside the restaurant you can sit and check them out while they cook. We had a variety of tacos...cheesy steak, chicken al pastor, al carbon...and they were all delicious. Don't forget the pineapple on the pork! Awesome location and atmosphere but the food does not follow. This is a place to go if you like Tex mex with Bad arroz con leche. The only thing that I liked was their pork belly tacos. That was delicious. Their tacos are not all that great and their nachos is 100% Tex mex. There is one thing that I can't believe was horrible was their arroz con leche. I've had so many different types from several restaurants and theirs is at the complete bottom of the list. If you want a great atmosphere, this is the place to go and if you want mediocre Tex mex food , this is the place to go as well. read more

Really really really nice place!!!!! This restaurant is located in the new tending Brickell City Centre. The whole building is so elegant and sophisticated full of the most expensive brands and restaurants. This was my first time there and the ambience is very pleasant. Tacology is located I believe on the fourth floor if I am not mistaken, anyways. They are trying to implement a new system using tablets on the tables instead of having an actual person helping you, so you can order anything at any time form this device, pretty cool! First, they give you a table, you are happy , place looks amazing, good music ,etc . Second, you wait for a random server to unlock and explain how the device works in order for you to order through the table, severs leaves and never come back : ( hahaha food runner brings whatever you ordered. If you haven't checked out their Instagram, go NOW (after you read this review obvi) because it is AMAZING. Their outside area is gorgeous. I love everything about their decor and food. They have different stations depending on what you want. Tacos, ceviche, drinks, etc. and they provide you with a table to make ordering so much easier. Bad part of this place: So my girls and I went to this place because we heard they had happy hour: rosè for ladies for free. And we figured okay why not, duh! However, like I said it's different stations so if you sat down for food, you'd steer away from being at the bar and being able to get a free drink. But try to wrap your head around this, you can only be served a free drink if you sit at the bar ( MIND YOU there was only men sitting at the bar lol) how was i supposed to stay lounging around the bar if I have no table or seat?! That made no sense and it's completely unfair to those who are trying to enjoy. Come on now. ON TOP OF THAT, the bartender was so rude! If I'm trying to understand the policy of the restaurant don't tell me "you do understand but you're still asking" excuse me? If there's one thing I've learned is to keep a smile and walk away. Great place, great taco stations. Speaking of stations. There's one station for fish tacos and one for all the carne. The place is huge! Adequate seating and the outside seating looks very cozy. The Nachos are delicious. The shrimp and cheese were very fresh. The tequila hit the spot accompanying the nachos. I ordered two Barbacoa tacos, meat was fresh but no toppings came with it. Suggestion; staff please don't look afraid or don't have the look of someone being forced to do something. The entire staff is friendly and attentive and I loved that about tacology!! I was doing some shopping when hunger snuck up on me. I saw Tacology's decor and it caught my attention so my husband and I decided to have dinner here. I'm an avid taco lover so I was really looking forward to the food here. We started off with guacamole. The guacamole was good. It was really cool that they have an iPad on the table that you can order from or if you prefer to directly order from the server, you can too. We ordered several different types of tacos to share because the taco sizes are small and we wanted to try several. The taco orders come in twos. We had the carnitas tacos. They came with white onions, cilantro and salsa verde. By far the best one of the tacos. My husband and I also shared the chicken tacos al pastor. These came with onions, cilantro and pineapple. They were tasty. Our least favorite tacos were the octopus chicharrón tacos. It described the octopus as crispy and it indeed came fried so you couldn't really taste the octopus. We had drinks and they were way over iced. I ordered a verde diferente and it felt like I took a few sips and it was done. My husband had the mezcal week special named la Morra and it was also lots of ice. He even tried switching to a really drink(Johnny black) and same deal. The concept is cool. The location is very nicely decorated. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have a huge tv inside showing sports games and they have a good variety of music playing in the background. Such a beautiful restaurant. The food is great, small portions but it's definitely a photographable restaurant more than anything. Love the avocado carne asada tacos with the berry margarita. Be careful those things are huge and dangerous! The only thing that is really annoying is the computer to order. It's not a traditional order, it's on an iPad that you select and it comes out to your table. I just don't like it. Also, I'm Hispanic so it's never an issue for/ with me, but the servers speak little to absolutely no English and I found that awkward when my American friends had questions. read more

I am not very happy to report that your team has refused to speak to me about unauthorized charges at your establishment. My information was stolen and used to make a large purchase at Tacology. I emailed back-and-forth with one of your managers, Adrian, and they said that they had no idea what to do and or how to handle the situation. The vibes here are truly one of a kind. There is so much foliage, ambient lighting, giant screens playing really cool and colorful videos and music in the background. There is also a sizeable patio/balcony that looks out onto the open air mall. I sort of felt like I was in a Mexican wonderland and it was AMAZING. This review is a four, though, because the prices are bonkers. I really don't care that "it's Miami" -- just because of the geography, I have to pay $11 for one taco? Absolutely fucking not. But, they've got a really cool digitized menu and ordering system with these fancy ipads and the service was speedy and attentive. As with most places in Miami, an 18% tip is already added in to the bill, so just be weary of that. The ceviche I had was good and the guac flight was tasty but I would recommend maybe coming for just one drink and calling it a day cause otherwise, you're going to pay a small fortune. read more

The bill includes a 18% service charge and when the waiter brings you the electronic machine to pay the bill they tell you " this tip goes directly to me" implying the 18% service charge goes to them so I left them a 20 % tip seemingly increasing their tip. What they don't tell you is that is an ADDITIONAL tip. So in total you unknowing leave a 18 % and 20 % tip on a $100 bill. This is a crooked unethical practice.
