This place is awesome for a night out with friends. The food is incredible, the presentation of the dishes is amazing, and the ambiance of the dining areas is absolutely perfect for tapas, dinners, celebrations, and drinks. Seriously... these drinks are amazing. Just wait until you see them. In my experience this place is great for allergies and restricted eating! You order your food right off of the iPad. Most dishes are incredibly simple ingredient-wise and before you order, you can modify the plate and take out whichever ingredients you can't have. If something comes incorrectly (I got a flour tortilla and I needed corn) there's a button to call your waiter over. I had New tacos with corn tortillas in less than 3 minutes! The seasonal pomegranate seed guac and the quinoa roasted shrimp tacos are my go-to at this place. read more

This was was nice. A bit on the pricey side. The tacos were okay. The drinks are better to me. I'm not really a taco person per say so I'm not the best critic for tacos. Hope this helps read more

I eat here all the time but I have to mention that the service should be way better considering an I pad is doing a lot of the communication work. Taking it to the end of the meal what really upsets me is that they sometimes don't show you the bill and hand you the cc machine then taking an additional 15-20% tip because the person paying has no clue that they already tipped. I don't fall for it but I was treated by a friend the other day and the server knew exactly what she was doing and took another $20-$25 bucks from my friend ... not cool tacology. It's pretty sad that you allow this to continue to happen among your team. People work very hard to be able to go out and enjoy a meal... you should be grateful that they pick your restaurant to dine at and your staff should be grateful for the already 18% that has to be paid for mostly mediocre service. If you want good service. Sit at the bar. read more

Outstanding service Delicious food Great company is what matters most. We decided to come to Tacology before the long Saturday night and turns out our night was Tacology. 6 of us sat at the bar. Ordering off the touch screen menu, and arriving within minutes. Our waitress Rebecca was enriching our visit making sure the food and beverages where brought in on time and just right. We had nothing to complain about. Absolute deliciousness!!! The meat/pastor tacos where everyones favorite. The carne asada order arrived in shot glasses: a real treat and unique style which brought in a laugh to the table. Please, eat them as tacos. Do not try to get drink tacos, it will not work. Although, I highly recomendó to make space for desert as the cookie dough ice cream cooskies were my favorite. Loving the margaritas, worth the size and price. Loving the waitress, empathy and service. Food, quickness, taste... we will return and return! Thank you Tacology 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS. Try to sit a the bar. A beautiful atmosphere in the middle of brickell city centre. It is a great place for a group of friends or an intimate date. If you can, request a table outside. The lobster tacos are the best item item on the menu and the guac and chips are delicious as well. The service was also great. Juan David and Ariadna were exceptional and extremely attentive. read more

Not impressed. The whole iPad ordering thing is annoying, tacky and made me feel like I was at an airport restaurant. Drinks were good, but it's basically in a fancy mall so there is nothing authentic feeling about it. Steak tacos were fine, nothing to write home about. Small portions for the price you pay. In the area I'd prob opt to spend a few bucks more and go to Rosa Mexicano. read more

Such a vibe!!! Went for Cinco de Mayo- Loved this place! The tablet ordering was super convenient, pictures of the food were on point and everything came out super fresh and fast. Our waitress was Paola, she was super nice and attentive. We got a margarita pitcher and it was literally the best thing ever! Shrimp and octopus tacos were the true winners at our table, also the guacamole was so chunky and yummy. When it's time to pay you scan the barcode, if your splitting tabs with a group, you have the option to pick and choose the items you ordered without having to rely on a server to start splitting checks- I loved that! Overall amazing concept, food and atmosphere. I will definitely be here again! read more

Came here for drinks and appetizers on a Saturday afternoon and the place was busy. We were able to grab some tacos and margaritas that were truly worth the wait! The vibe is amazing you have outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor area has some lower seating benches and regular chairs, and pets are allowed. Really enjoyed the experience cant wait to be back in the area to revisit them. read more

Great place and cool location inside the Brickell City Centre. I had a margarita and would highly recommend it. The shrimp taco was also amazing. The prices are a bit steep for the sizes of drinks and tacos, but that's to be expected in Brickell. It's a good place to go with a group since they can easily pull together tables. Overall, fun place with good service! read more

Torn between 2 or 3 stars... because this place is actually is really nice, & the food was good! Reasons why I only give 2.... well, (ive experienced better). My only real complaint is the following. I had to order 3 items per person to get full. NOT OK!! You're feeding adults not ants LOL Please fix that!!! Needless to say the food was good... all items ordered were pretty tasty. Me and my friend ordered horchata... to my surprise it was $10 EACH!!! WTF?!?!? $10 for 16oz of juice??? Yea that right there told me regardless if the food was impeccable id probably never return lol no other juice for kids except for pineapple that was a -. My kids don't drink soda & I don't want to order 2 more $10 horchatas lol NO THANKS! All in All.... The place was great... the ambience, the TVs, The waiter who did nothing (which was ok with us) was nice too, All I would recommend is either add more food!!! or lower the prices. I get that its in brickell city centre mall or w.e but $160 for small plates, its actually ridiculous. I'll probably be here 1 more time in my life due to food being good & very close by I'd recommend for people to come and try. read more

Very vibrant atmosphere located on the top floor of Brickell City Center. We were told there would be a 45 min wait but less than 20 minutes later we were already being seated. Our waiter was kind, helpful, and attentive. He greeted us with a warm hello and a rose (it was Valentine's day) and walked us through the ordering process. He listened to what we preferred in a drink and offered his suggestions. My husband and I both enjoyed our beverages! They accidentally sent a guacamole to our table but our waiter told us to keep it and enjoy. It was delicious and had a strong lime flavor which I'm a fan of. We also ordered some chicken nachos which both of us loved. We were also craving some tacos. Again, we told the waiter the flavor profiles we were looking for and he took care of the rest. We ended up with beef and chorizo tacos with cracklings on top. My husband liked them but I wasn't a fan. To me, they needed some type of sauce or additional toppings. Our waiter did an excellent job of taking care of our needs without constantly being at our table. read more

I dined here for the first time a few weeks ago. I came to have lunch during the week with a friend. The place was pretty empty and the hostess tried to sit us in a table in the corner facing the window and the column. I was on crutches so I asked to be seated in a larger table with cushioned seats which they did. Food was good, not phenomenal for the price. We had the guacamole trio, steak tacos and the chicken tacos. I would've given my experience 3 stars but what happened after warranted the 2 stars. I left my sunglasses at the table and realized right after I left. I called and the women that answered the phone said she had them and would hold them for me. I go back a week later (I just had hip surgery so I haven't been able to drive) and they were gone. I guess if you leave something at this restaurant, after a few days the employees can just take your belongings. One girl was helpful and sent a text in a group chat to ask anyone if they knew about my glasses. The other 2 girl there were pretty rude and not very helpful. Miami has so many options for restaurants with pleasant staff, yummy food and good service... this wasn't one of them for me. read more

It's very rare for me to give a restaurant a five star as I'm extremely picky when it comes to food and service. BUT, let me assure you these guys are fantastic when it comes to service (super fast) and food quality. As a matter of fact, better tacos here than in Mexico and I actually travel to Mexico quite often. I love their food, speedy and pleasant service, not to mention the amazing Latin ambiance. Their general manager is a true gentleman and goes above and beyond to take care of the repeat customers. HIGHLY recommend this place. If I could give them six stars, I would for sure. read more

Went to Brickell City Center with friends for some drinks. Overall decor is fun and bright! Service is ok, as they have an iPad that is on the table and you order as you want. I'm old school when it comes to this-- let's be clear, if I'm going to leave a tip the preference is that I have an interaction with the table server. The queso fundido with chorizo was solid, but too much chorizo, not a good balance. The tacos al pastor were dry and could use more seasoning. The margaritas were a good size! We ordered the jalapeño margaritas! Overall ok, a bit pricey for a couple tacos and a drink. read more

Food was good. Service was good. 18% service charge plus an explanation by the waiter that I had to tip an additional 7% because none of the included service charge goes directly to the waiter and the owner is expecting patrons to tip a suggest 7% additional because he does not pay fair living wages. Really uncomfortable experience, ruined my experience. Unfortunately will not be returning. Will look for other options in brickell. read more

Tacology is simply not the place to go and eat decent Mexican food. While the location and the bar (drinks are decent) are trendy and good, the food, at least for a main meal is atrocious. I had higher expectations about this place. read more

Had a wonderful time with my husband at this place the concept of being able to order and customize your order on an iPad is amazing!!! Tacology environment was fun and exciting we enjoyed our lunch being brought out nice and fresh! We had the steak tacos which were amazing ! My husband lived 6 years in California and said the authenticity of the tacos matched that of the ones he used to have in cali'... the avocado sauce is a must! The food comes in an unique presentation. Tequila was great bigger size shot glass than any other location. If you're looking for authentic unique and a fun time this is the place to be! The food is good and the concept of ordering through an iPad at your table is good, but it requires that a person respond. Therefore, the service of the iPad is good, the service of the humans suck. No one checks on you, no one asks if your order went through, you have to flag down a manager to even get your bill. And no matter how bad the service is, you still have to pay 18% gratuity or make a scene. Better street tacos and better service a block away at Pilos Street Tacos. read more

The food here is good but service is terrible . We are here to shopping then eat at here . We sit outside . It is warm . After food come, we can't take anymore .we were sweating . Our clothes are all wet. We try change seat to other spot . Because by the time there are a lot empty spots there . The waiter try to ask a fat bald guy see if we can switch seat ,but he is very rude . He said outside just hot and refused to changes spot for us although they have a lot of empty spots there . It is really a terrible experience . read more

I am an avid Tacology lover. I don't give them a five-star because they need one or two more waitresses because at rush hours... the service is slower than usual. Whatever you order comes at different paces since there are different kitchens... The quality is good, not amazing, but it is great to come here to have a great time with family and/or friends. read more

Went to Tacology for dinner on Tuesday night. We started with cocktails, I went with a Jalapeno Margarita and my date ordered a spicy smoky mezcal drink. Then for food we ordered Guacamole & Chips and the Queso Fundido With Chorizo, followed by the Crab Meat Tostada, the Tuna Tataki Tostada, the Pastor Tacos, the Special Ribeye Tacos, and the Baja Fish Tacos. Quality From start to finish, there is no doubting the taste and quality of the food and drinks prepared by Tacology. Both of the cocktails ordered were unique and fun. As a fan of spicier drinks I found the Jalapeno Margarita a perfect fit, with tequila, ancho reyes, and jalapeno chunks. I only got a sip of the mezcal cocktail, which among other things had an egg white and jalapenos in it. It was smokier with a bit less heat, but still very enjoyable. For appetizers I enjoyed both the Guacamole & Chips and the Queso Fundido With Chorizo. It was a solid guacamole mixture and I particularly enjoyed a bean based spicy salsa that came along with it. It is hard not to like a bowl of cheese, so the Queso Fundido delivered as well. Then for the tacos and tostadas, my highlight would be the Crab Meat Tostada. With an abundance of crab meat, cucumber, red onion, avocado-puree, and an aji mayo to keep it all together, it was a fresh and delicious snack. I also greatly enjoyed the Special Ribeye Tacos, with steak, chorizo, crispy chicharron, and salsa. The Tuna Taki Tosada was a good item, simply for the mound of fresh tuna it came with. The Pastor Tacos were pretty standard with pork, onion, cilantro, pineapple, and guacamole, but they were on special so we ordered them. The Baja Fish Tacos were the only disappointment, I did not like the flavor of the fish and it was very light on chipotle mayo. Quantity While the majority of items served were good and of high quality, the sizes were extremely small. I easily could have ordered several more dishes and still left hungry. The tostadas are definitely a better selection than the tacos, because of the mound of toppings they come with. Value The price is the biggest problem with Tacology. I understand the importance of high quality ingredients and I'm sure the rent is not cheap in the fancy new Brickell City Centre, but the idea of paying $8-$12 for tiny tacos is too much. The same go for the drinks which start at around $15. In the end you are going to either leave hungry or having spent far too much on tacos. Ambiance Tacology is located on the top floor of the Brickell City Centre mall, right near the movie theater. The mall itself is a very cool modern space with an open air concept. Tacology seems to build on that with its sleek and fun design. The space is split into an outdoor patio and then an indoor dining area. However, the fact is that neither are really outside or inside. The outdoor area is open to the mall, but covered and sheltered from the actual outside. Brightly colored tables and couches are spread throughout this area. We ended up under a set of lamps and plants near the center of the patio. Fake fire pits lit up the area directly behind us. The patio then has a wide open wall that leads inside. Part of the theme is that they have several different kitchens for the diverse menu. Each kitchen operates in a corner with the middle of the space full of additional seating. On the far wall they have a massive screen that was showing music videos and the audio was playing in the background. It was all 80s rock bands, which was a weird choice, but made for fun scenes on the screen. They also have a large bar for those just looking for a cocktail. Overall it is bright, colorful, and fun space. Crowd Maybe it is just because of the cavernous space, but I feel like every time I visit Brickell City Centre I am amazed by how empty it is. Yet I walked into a madhouse at Tacology. Nearly every seat in the restaurant was full. The majority were groups of young adults drinking margaritas, but some small families were in attendance as well. I would think it is a good spot before seeing a movie. Service Our waitress was marvelous. Extremely energetic and friendly as well as knowledgable about how and when to order. That said, I hate the fact that you order on an iPad. Sharing a single menu for a table and having to figure out the ordering system is terrible. They had tons of friendly staff, I don't understand why they do not utilize them. Parking Brickell City Centre has parking garages. Right now parking is complimentary for the first two hours in order to bring in business. I don't know how long it will last, but soon it will be $3 for the first hour. Extra I really want to like Tacology more. I enjoyed the food, the staff was great, and the space was very cool. However, the tiny portions, the high prices, and the unnecessary use of technology make it tough to love. read more

They really should clarify how the tablet menus work, and to place your order only when you want the food to come out. This would have saved us from having our arroz con leche arriving to the table before our appetizers and tacos. The food was good but not great. Once I finished all the cheese on top of the esquites, the dish was kinda bland and needed the lime on the side. The steak asada tacos were just fine, but I loved the presentation. Despite having arrived to the table first, the arroz con leche was good, especially with the ice cream on the top. The waitress said she couldn't bring the dish back to the kitchen, so we had to eat the dessert first before the ice cream melted. Lastly, they forgot to bring out the seasonal guacamole we ordered, but then the waitress was kind enough to give it to us on the house. I wish it had more of the pomegranate and pepitas dispersed throughout it instead of only on the surface. Aside from the food, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the colorful decor. I would return solely because it's definitely a fun place to eat, not for the food. read more

Enjoyed the iPad ordering thought that was cool and the food came out as ordered in a timely fashion. Food was good, but wasn't the best tacos around which is surprising given the name. Ceviche trio was lacking in taste a little as well. Good spot if your shopping and hungry though. read more

I went to eat there I like the place , however this time the waiter was like a beggar, I asked my bill after he brought I saw tip was included waiter told me that the tip on the bill it is not for him, so I need to tip him more!!! I ignored him. Whoever reads this pls be careful they can put extra tip after u leave, he has not done it but it was a thought , if they are forcing us to double tip them like %35. Just giving u water clean table it is a place I would not go even food is great read more

Great food, nice looking everything, portions a little small. You just order from a tablet and they'll bring you the order quickly so an 18% automatic tip it's not adequate for the lack of actual service, don't get me wrong I normally tip 20% or more with great service when I go out, but this place just add a tip for a food runner to bring plates to the table. read more

Before I try a new restaurant I always turn to Yelp. I didn't have any plans on visiting Tacology because of how low it was rated. Luckily, my friend invited me to dinner there, I reluctantly went and I left pleasantly surprised. I know a lot of people complain about the ordering system, but I loved it. Although it could use more customization options, it worked great for our table. Anything we couldn't customize on the app, our waiter took note and everything came out perfectly. Our first round of cocktails was awesome. I had this spicy passion fruit concoction that was delicious, but it's name escapes me. Since the food comes out when it's ready don't expect a sit down, formal dinner. This is just not the place to do that, with that said the food is great. We all ordered some tacos, the shrimp tacos that come in shot glasses were amazing. They're a must have. The fresh cheese with corn is so good. Everything was very fresh and tasty. I was highly disappointed with my first experience at tacology. I have been wanting to try this place for some time but it has always had a long wait. First off we sat down and were handed an iPad. No one even spoke to us before leaving us with one "menu" to share. I wanted to order a vodka drink but the online menu was difficult to navigate and they didn't have any featured. We called someone over and asked if we could get a mojito with vodka, they showed me a feature where you can select the alcohol and add toppings. Now the mojito comes and it is just a cup of pure sugar. Can't even drink it. We ordered guacamole and tacos. Everything came out instantly we ordered the guacamole first as we wanted to pace out the meal but received everything at the same time. We felt extremely rushed. No one checked on us even once to see if we liked the food. Food wasn't bad but for the price there are so many other great taco places around On top of this an 18% service charge was added. I felt as if they were trying to cut corners all around but still tried to upcharge everything. Needless to say I won't be back read more

Underwhelming. I had a craving for tacos , and beb fulfilled the request . A friend of his suggested this restaurant. First off , I have to say the design and decor , matches perfectly the theme. It has an outdoors vibe but still in keeping with a more eccentric look. Many may frown at this and prefer a more personable approach , however the entire restaurant allows each table to order from a tablet which provides photos of each item . For me , this is a Total win!! We order a few items , which presentation wise , was well thought out and Interactive! I eat with the eyes first , and I was excited to try all the fixings . They have a fun play on how the food & drinks is served and I have to say that's impressive . However , the flavor was lacking in every dish . The tacos were just okay . The beef was a bit dry and not seasoned at all , as though it was cooked and served with no salt / pepper . The chicarron was tasty and presented well , but there could have been an added sauce element. It was just fried and served . I have attached photos as well. Overall , nice ambiance , OK tacos. I would visit again , but maybe not anytime soon. read more

Came at around 8pm to a fairly busy restaurant, we got table right away without reservation. You order everything trough tablet on your table and it works pretty well. We ordered a couple of margaritas and guacamole. Beautiful restaurant on the third floor of Brickell center. An open format with different seating options. Some of the tables are low picnic style tables while others offer coffee table style seating. The decor was day of the dead inspired and I found it fun and nice. The food was overall excellent. We had the guacamole and the queso fundido as starters, both were delicious. We also had the shrimp tacos they were great although the portion was small Ordering off a tablet is different. There are options to customize your dishes so you minimize server error. This is nice but at a restaurant with lots of finger food, you need a server. The tablet isn't complete for the whole experience. Need napkins find a server. Have a bucket of guacamole and ran out of chips, find a server. Servers are not as attentive as you would hope. Overall this was a nice place for a date or it you're at the mall. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to return read more

As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

We shared nachos with grilled steak, which were very good (they pour the melted cheese right at the table). We also ordered tripa tacos well toasted (that's the technique) as we requested, and they came out excellent. Note: They have different promotions or offers depending on the day, not a regular happy hour variety, so it's good to be aware of that. The restaurant offers a good variety of 8 salsas: Sirloin, Chips, Guacamole, Verde, Vicente, Pastor, Chilanga, and Asada. Good atmosphere, pleasant service, and tasty food. No complaints of the food really, the tacos were actually well seasoned and for my taste buds made even better with the hot sauce that left a yummy after burn. When I went to the bathroom, the handle on the door was damaged. Besides that, in the end I was not feeling the place especially that there was a mandatory gratuity.

The location of this awesome restaurant is amazing! Tacology is inside of Brickell City Centre the first shopping mall in Brickell. When we walk to the host, stand two very friendly hosts welcomed us to the restaurant that asked us of our seating preferences. My friend decided to seat outside to enjoy the view of this majestic building and enjoy the outdoor atmosphere of the restaurant. Johanna was our server and she offered us drinks and appetizers to start. She explained the restaurant iPad ordering system. It was fast and easy to check out all the items they have on their menu from appetizers, entrees, beverages, and desserts. The pictures were so beautiful and simple. I ordered a Pomegranate Margarita and the server brought me water. For appetizer, I ordered the MINISOUP DE JUGO DE CARNE it is served in a shot glass with a tiny spoon. The flavor of this minisoup is a concentration of beef soup and once you try the first spoon, it becomes an explosion of flavor inside your mouth. My friend ordered QUESO FUNDIDO with -HUITLACOCHE-MUSHROOMS and flour tortillas. My friend ordered homemade corn tortillas after seeing the women making it inside the restaurant. It was so delicious! After my appetizer I ordered the Carne Tacos, the presentation is simple and elegant. The tacos come inside a shot glass with a very delicious green sauce. "We were on vacation in Miami, FL and visited the Brickell City Centre Mall. We decided to eat at the Tacology restaurant in the mall. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and an employee of the restaurant walked out of the bathroom stall and back into the restaurant without washing her hands. I was shocked and wanted to be sure she was an employee so when I went back into the restaurant I saw the young lady and she was wearing the same T-Shirt the other employees were waring. I greeted her and she said hello. I told her that I saw her leave the bathroom without washing her hands. Suddenly she don't speak English. I went back to my table and another server was getting ready to take my husband's order when I interrupted and told the server that we will not be eating here and told her about the situation in the bathroom. Hmmm can't give exactly a 50 / 50. Tacology is okay at best. I'm hoping that maybe some of the issues will get sorted out once they've been through their growing pains of having been a new restaurant opening. But... The Guac is amazing, but its kind of hard to screw up guacamole in general. The service wasn't too bad, the staff generally nice. Decor is fine. Food was relatively bland and uninventive. Here's my general complaint, which is neither here nor there. The general feel of the place, the quality of the food and the decor, makes me think that they are trying to turn this into a fast casual brand restaurant. So there's nothing great about it. It's just okay. If they want to be a chain, then I guess that's fine, good for them. I just don't like chain food and I don't like chain restaurants. Margaritas were tasty, but weak. First,the hostess was really kind and she immediately founded a table for us. We were impressed by the confutable environment and all the good decorations. Then we met the best server we've ever seen. His name is Domenic , he makes our night perfect. He was cordial,sympathy, and especially really friendly. I went to see a movie to find this place. Very colorful and different. I loved! When I realized that I had a tablet to order food, I thought it would be another place where food is delayed. But gracefully the tacos arrived before the appetizer. And the margaritas were good. I stopped to observe everything and there is no trick in it. They cook and prepare everything in an instant. As a kind of open buffet, you see the chef preparing the dishes. The runners taking food in all directions. I met Jose Fernandez while I waited for my server to put his number on the tablet. He gave me a little tour of the menu, and it was funny. I remember him because is called same as the young Marlins pitcher. When finished I ordered a flan. My mouth was literally watering. It's always nice seeing a lot of people in a restaurant you're trying for the first time. It's almost guaranteed to be awesome. Tacology did not disappoint and I'm a little upset I don't live close enough to be a regular. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The tuna tacos are high quality and don't need any extra additives- even though we all know how great soy sauce is, raw tuna don't need it. The Ceviche is a great sharable app to start off with. Great variety on the menu. The service started off a little shaky and it was hard to get the attention of our waitress but she was friendly and redeemed herself with a great dessert recommendation. I am very pleased that we decided to come here for spontaneous late night tacos to celebrate our engagement. I had been craving tacos all week but hesitated to go since it was a bit "off" from our place. On the brickell center lies this taqueria. Like others, we've never been to Mexico, so I have nothing to compare to. But this is how I would imagine they serve tacos over there. Simple and delicious. We went "safe" with chicken asada. But there were many different, slightly more interesting, cuts of pork. But the tacos we received were so delicious, filled generously with juicy meats and pineapple. I loved that you could pile on sauce-cilantro-onions-(even more sauce!!) or leave them out all together. The service was quick and very very sweet. Jose Fernandez explain me why. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Tacology was hands down the best place we visited during our trip to Miami! The food was absolutely amazing. every dish was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The service was beyond outstanding, truly 20/10. Daniella, the manager, made us feel completely at home from the moment we walked in. Her hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made the entire experience unforgettable. A special shoutout to Otto at the bar for crafting incredible drinks that perfectly complemented the meal. He's a true professional and knows exactly how to make a great cocktail. If you're in Brickell, Tacology is a must visit. Amazing food, exceptional service, incredible drinks, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. We can't wait to visit again! read more

Every part of this dining experience was subpar. We first sat at the half-full bar for a drink and appetizers. Two of the three apps ordered came out wrong and the third never came. It took 30 minutes to get the nonexistent item removed from the check and 18% was still expected. I asked to be sat so I could try the menu items with a more dedicated service experience; however, I then noticed the waiter petting a dog at the neighboring table. I followed him with my eyes and saw him delivering food and attending tables sans a hand washing. The staff was unaccommodating and the manager was disinterested in helping ensure good service. Tacology's cleanliness and service standards are the worst I've experienced in Miami. I'd expect more from Brickell City Centre and it's occupants. read more

This was my first time in the Brickell center, what a cute strip! Went to this restaurant and it was an awesome tapas spot! Service was on point, venue was super chic, and of course the food was delicious!! We were served with 4 courses - first being an appetizer of queso fundido , black beams, guacamole testing, chicharron de queso; next, tuna tacos, tacos al pastor, MORE tuna tacos, and special rebeye, and then dessert -guava cheesecake...I was IN HEAVEN! The flavor and tapas variety was so great, I truly feel like we got to experience much of what Tacology has to offer. Jose Fernandez was funny, I couldn't stop laughing with him. Great service by the way. Can't wait to visit them again.. definitely will be ordering another round of those tacos of tuna!! Highly recommended! read more

BEST GUACAMOLE EVER! This tiny spot really safeties the taco craving on a whole other level. Tacos are a decent size and taste very fresh always (make sure to get a side of tatemada sauce). Also, I'm an avocado fanatic and like I said in the beginning of my review, the guacamole is amazing, always consistent and taste just right. This spot is tidy and clean and service is always great. Jose Fernandez hahah God job! The food comes so quickly to the table once you order and they always refill your chip basket! On Tuesday's they have their Taco Tuesday special which they take two delicious tacos al pastor with one shot of tequila!!. Definitely would recommend for a nice lunch during your break or on the weekend with fam and friends if you are in the brickell area! read more

Tacology has been on my list ever since I moved to Miami but of course, I only end up coming here 1 week before leaving the city for good. A couple of friends and I were at Brickell City Centre when I declared (as usual) that I was hungry and could use a snack. Unbeknownst to me, they had Tacology! It was happy hour so we decided to finally check this off of my list. Jose Fernandez bring us great margaritas, and pretty much took care of us very well. Basically, this is a Mexican tapas place. Since we weren't here for a full meal, we shared 3 dishes off the tacos menu. We got the chicken pastor, carnitas, and special rebeye. I also got the chicken asada. Although I could have done without the corn, everything was really yummy!! Will come back soon. read more

We went on a Sunday night. It was packed. You really can't go wrong with any night, though, whether you are looking for a quick bite with the family or a place to take a date. Beautiful, "cantina"-like decor on the inside. The have a full-bar and are known for their tequilla (as the name suggests), but I went with a Dos Equis, while the better half went for a mixed drink with tequilla and ginger beer...really tasty!!! Rule of thumb, you should always order guacamole when it's prepared tableside, and this particular rendition didn't disappoint. If you like lime, you'll really enjoy. They also bring you chips so their is no shortage of munchies to wet your palate. Thanks Jose Fernandez for bringing chips constantly. We were very annoying hahaha read more

Tacology is literally the worst place ever created. I walked in and immediately regretted it. The sight I saw was a horror show - some lady-man thing was laying or hatching eggs or something. It looked like something out of a nightmare, horrible! The floor was covered in slimy grease, and the wet floor signs were practically invisible. I ran over to my bro Drag and we bolted out of there, heading straight for Taco Bell. There was a traffic jam, so we put our car in flying mode and zoomed over all the Toyotas and Nissans. We made it in record time! At Taco Bell, we ordered the new cheez it taco and it was delish, totally made up for the disaster at Tacology. Plus, we only spent like 5 bucks. Tacology? Never again. Taco Bell? Always a win! read more

So I'll be honest, I gave this place a mediocre review when I initially went - but this experience was awesome. We sat at the bar and tried several different cocktails. My favorite were the vato viejo and lychee martinis. Both very light and refreshing in different ways. Our bartender was super cool and had a lot of good recommendations. Also Jose Fernandez bringing the drinks (Great Job) For the food we started off with the cochinitas, guacamole and chips. All fantastic! A few drinks later we were hungry again (woops) and (over)ordered the lamb tacos, spicy corn and carnitas. All very delicious with unique twists on wood dishes. This place is a great addition to the Brickell restaurant scene and we will definitely be back. read more

Tacology is the BEST Mexican restaurants you can find in should Florida! To start out with the atmosphere is increíble, great vibes ! This restaurant is beautiful, not to mention how amazing their drinks are! I recommend their signature drink and any drink that has a little kick to it, love the spiciness! Now the food is indescribably delicious, they have everything from vegetarian food to seafood ! But out of all is the service that they provide, Juan David is the best server there hands down! Best service I have ever had, has great recommendations (really knows what his talking about), friendly, and great on being attentive with anything that we needed!! Finding amazing Mexican in Miami can be a task amongst all the touristy options and chain restaurants - this place has been the best Mexican I've been able to find and a great location on Purdy! Started with their coconut margarita and couldn't have been happier. A heavy and intense sweet factor, be wary if you can't handle your heart dancing. Ordered the guacamole testing for my entree and overall was very satisfied. The side rice and beans were very well seasoned and prepared. The pastor itself was a good one. Asked Jose Fernandez for an array of salsas and was given a habanero salsa that took the mole up a notch. Not the best salsa I've had, but not bad overall! I came here for the first time and experienced the worst service. We had a reservation for 8:45pm and arrived at 8:50pm only to be told that our table was given up because their policy had changed to a 5 minute grace period (online it says there is a 15 minute grace period). We waited 15 minutes for our table and the hostess gave us so much attitude. Once we sat down we ordered a starter of guacamole and three main course tacos. Our guacamole arrived as a dessert; after we had finished all of our main dishes. Additionally, they charged us extra for more tortilla chips for the guacamole. I was stunned by the rudeness of every staff member I encountered. I will never be returning. read more

Note: they open at noon, not 11:30 am as it says on google!
