Tacoly Moly is my favorite. Their are fast, AND delicious. Their food is more than reasonably priced but ALWAYS amazing.

The location itself looks very rustic on the outside, but inside it's cool, modern and has plenty of seating. You'll find plenty of shade trees and two water stations along with some nonalcoholic drink options. There's no food truck on site, but they do offer a charcuterie board and I was told you can now bring your own grub (still might want to call and confirm though). At the bar inside you'll find a listing of their ciders including some guest taps that rotate. There's two unisex bathrooms near the bar and two sinks on the outside where everyone can watch you wash your hands. It should be mentioned that there is one oddity about this property and that is the small McCuistian family cemetery just a few hundred feet west of the driveway (see separate review). And if that cemetery is not enough to get your attention, the huge Live Oak cemetery is directly next-door with over a thousand graves to peruse through (yes, I reviewed that one too). So if you're looking for a place that produces high-quality craft cider and enjoy the rustic Hill country setting, this is it. A couple of items to note, Friday night is movie night on a big screen outside and on weekends they have live bands. 10 informative photographs included.

I was in the mood for tortilla soup and boy did the delivery. Other restaurants have shrunk their bowl, but Texican has not! (See pic.) It was 5:30 on a Saturday, but fortunately we beat the rush and were seated quickly. Service was good. The food came out much more quickly this time.

I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of Mexican, Tex-Mex or other southern methods of food preparation. Judy is! She's the professional dietician, cookbook collector and best judge of foods quality, composition, and presentations. So I ordered my standard shrimp fajitas, no guacamole, no regurgitated beans, no pica de gallo, just rice and flour tortillas. The sizzling platter came to the table smoking hot with everything on the platter burnt to destruction. Judy, on the other hand ordered the full plate. One of their dinner "Plato's" where everything looks smashed together with all the things I don't like. But she is the "Foodie" and loves ethnic foods. She rates this place much lower than I did only had burnt shrimp and vegetable with a cup of the worst rice a mouse ever ran from. This place is definitely on our "one and done" list. I hope you have a better experience than we do so please drink up this food needs rethinking.
