While still on the call, I could hear Lily and her coworkers laughing in the background. She then claimed she didn't know how to process a refund because the "refund button wouldn't work." To make matters worse, she said she could "write my name down and let the manager know tomorrow," but there was no sincerity in her voice and no confidence that anything would actually be handled. It felt like a brush-off that would be forgotten -- a reflection of her inept ability to do her job and deliver basic customer service. Ultimately, I had to drive back to the store in person, which was entirely avoidable if my concern had been handled properly over the phone.

After my initial review, management proactively reached out to make things right. Not many restaurants take active measures to leave a better impression, and I 100% want to support their incredible service. We returned on a Monday at 11:30 AM and had a spectacular experience. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed the stunning outdoor seating area by the fountain and florals. Because it was a quieter weekday, we were seated immediately, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and our food came out in just 15 minutes! We ordered the Fried Cod and French Fries, which was fried to absolute perfection (perfect batter, crispy outside, soft/warm inside). The fries were spectacular, too. I only wish the sides of coleslaw and pickles were a bit larger. We also had the Salmon Farro Bowl, which featured beautifully cooked salmon and a nice medley of veggies and avocado. It was a little bland for my personal taste, but it is a fantastic, clean option for health-conscious diners. My first visit was clearly just a fluke due to a busy weekend crowd. The pork belly was a little dry and not worth the price for just three pieces. The thick cut truffle fries were very good however. We also tried the bucatini and it was nice but still I wanted a little more kick. It has spice but just needs a little something to punch it up. The steak sandwich two of the three of us sharing a meal loved and I'd say was the best thing we ate. The service staff was kind, considerate and gave us time and made sure our drinks were filled.
