    3 Mini Street Tacos
    Lorraine F.

A little hidden gem. Fast service and affordable tacos. I love that they serve a half portion of the carne asada fries (I don't find this a lot!) so I was able to try that along with the mini street tacos. The only disappointing part was they didn't have limes the day we visited. Food was good without it but it's always better with the limes. Can't wait to be back! Parking: It has a tiny lot (3 ish spots), but there's also street parking.

I went around 1pm on a weekday, there wasn't any lunch time rush, so my service was quick! Didn't wait longer than 5 minutes. I took my food to go, but the inside is very much like all taco shops. I would say avoid weekdays around 3:45pm to avoid the high school crowds. The California Burrito was pretty good. The cheese and sour cream made it flavorful, so it's a solid burrito. Would definitely try some of their other dishes!

Been here twice so far. The first time was just on a whim to find a quick bite to eat but I was astonished at how good it was I hyped it up to my wife to try. To make sure that it wasn't just because I was hungry that day and it was as I remembered I took her here, and I can confirm its honestly one of the best burrito/taco shops around. I can honestly recommend their California burrito to anybody and know that they'll enjoy it - not to mention it's hugeee. It's filled with carne asada, fries, pico and sour cream. Their crispy tacos are amazing and can recommend the shredded beef taco as a great addition to the burrito. The only downside is that their parking lot consists of 3 spots - 6 if you squeeze cars in and can be a bit of a hassle to park but it shouldn't discourage you from trying this place out.

TacoMan puts a half a fish In that taco! A half a damn animal!!! No joke... order two and you are taking down an entire creature... taco Tuesday rolls around, you and a couple buddies damn near empty out the whole birch aquarium. it's not like those pre formed sanitized stamped out mass production fish patty like experience.. TacoMan tacos are super crispy I was wishing I ordered more. The adobado taco I did order was kinda sinewy in all the wrong ways. There was a a little too much tendon and non edible bits and crunchy animal things mixed up in there for me to feel comfortable going full fat kid on it... I picked out a few choice morsels and felt nostalgic for the fish taco that left my life too quickly. I'll give the ocean a week or so to prepare for my next visit. I will be coming hungry

We decided to come here for a late lunch! I was so hungry! I got a monster California burrito which was so filling. It had meat, rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. I actually ate the whole burrito along with a few bites from my daughter. Lol! The only complaint I had was the tortilla was kind of cold. To drink, I drank a raspberry iced since the only had Pepsi products. Food was tasty. The inside is fairly small and there are only three parking stalls up front. Luckily we found a spot. There was a movie playing inside. The guy working up front was nice enough to play Boss Baby for my daughter. Really nice of him to do. My daughter ate her food while watching the movie. Inside was clean. I had come here before but parking was impossible so we ended up leaving. We finally came at a time when there was a parking spot available. That is also the only negative coming here. Parking is hard to find. I would come back if we are in the area.

Highly recommend!!! Food is amazing! Good selection on taco shop items, burritos, quesadillas, fries, tacos, tortas and combo deals, also they even have ice cream! The owner is incredibly welcoming and very generous! Great atmosphere! Definitely a must try!

I tried out Taco Man for the first time and the experience wasn't anything to write home about. We ordered: 5 rolled tacos with everything Surf n turf burrito Half order of carne asada fries Street tacos - adobada (2 orders) The asada meat was a bit in the salty side. The rolled tacos must have been delish cause my son ate them in seconds! Half order of fries were a good amount but again meat was on the salty side. Adobada tacos I didn't care for. Once you've had street tacos from Tacos El G, it's hard for other street tacos to be at their level of deliciousness!!! No one yet has better street tacos than Tacos El G! Daniel our cashier/server was amazing with customer service! It's a very small venue so don't bring a large crowd! Parking sucks as well!!! Since we were dining in Daniel served us some piping hot fresh chips with cotija cheese which was a very nice touch!

I like me some good street tacos, and other than needing a little more seasoning, these street tacos were pretty good. I ordered two carne asada and one pollo asado or grilled chicken. Right away I was impressed with the fact they double wrapped each taco with quality corn tortillas. The tortillas tasted of quality natural corn and came warm and moist. The carne asada was tender but like I said, it did need a little more seasoning. The meat tasted good with the creamy quacamole, chopped white onions, and cilantro. I loved that included a light sprinkling of finely grated hard Mexican cheese, a touch that some many other places miss out on doing. The pollo asado taco was better seasoned than the carne asada, therefore it definitely provided better flavor. The chicken meat was well cooked and was tender on the inside with a good crispiness on the outside. This taco went very well with a squeeze of lime juice. I tried a couple of their salsas. The red one I enjoyed very much given the great heat and flavor it offered. Overall, they were some good tacos and I would not mind returning to try some of their other menu items. They have a small parking lot that cannot be accessed from Highlands Ave, but from E. 28th street coming from the west given it's a one way.

One of the best Horchatas I've ever had! The staff are super friendly, prices are good, street tacos are delicious, and place seems very clean. I will definitely be returning!

Located by Sweetwater Union High School, Tacoman offers good service and good food. This place is definitely an after school hangout so if you want don't want to be surrounded by teenagers, come after 4pm when most of them have headed out or home. Parking may be easier around that time as well. Since it's small, the space can get pretty packed and warm super quickly, so outside seating is optimal. I definitely enjoy their Surf and Turf Burrito. They also have a nice range of sauces that are true to their labeling of what's spicy and not. Will come again to get other items another time.

Omg so good. So glad I found Mar Y Tierra!!! Everyone was sooo nice to me even though I had a hard time remembering "sesenta" briefly (when I think in Spanish now, Japanese comes out... it's funny but it's a problem lol) and even though I'm a gringa with a basic order. I just got 1 shrimp & 1 fish taco both with avocado and a jamaica. When I tell you I ate these like I had never eaten food before... Shrimp was incredibly tender and wonderful. The fish was huge, flaky and crispy and juicy. Honestly I ate them so quickly they could've been made of liquid. But they were sooo delicious!! They included extra sauce and the green salsa wasn't too spicy for me which I so appreciate! They also included 2 limes for one of the tacos which made me think someone really loves me today :') I would definitely come back here anytime and try more things on the menu! Very very delicious!! Thank you for the delicious food and taking care of me today!!!

Ehhhh... I really wanted to like this place. This sushi food truck has been bookmarked on my Yelp…read morefor quite some time. Especially being that it's so close by. I finally had the chance to try it. It's a food truck located in a liquor store parking lot with plenty of parking. They have chairs & tables set up outside so you can enjoy your food. The man taking/making our order was very kind & friendly. He even ensured to repeat my order back to make sure everything we got correct. It's a one man show, so expect a bit of delay. We ordered & he stated it'd be ready in 25mins. Let me start off by saying I love supporting small businesses. We're always open to trying new street vendors or any small business we find appealing. My 3/5 rating is solely due to the food alone. Everything else met my standards as far as customer service, cleanliness (from outside view), sit down dining option, etc. & the wait was a bit long, but I'm understanding. We ordered tons of stuff & it was just one person running the show. It is a bit on the pricier sides. Rolls were going from $15-$18. All the prices are marked off on the menus. I'm sure because of price increases from inflation. We ordered: spicy garlic edamame, jalapeno poppers, orange chicken plate, mango habanero roll, & the super roll. Which came out to a total of $67. I love edamame & it's a must to get anywhere it's available. I appreciate the spicy garlic edamame was super saucy & had tons of garlic. But it was a bit salty for my liking. The jalapeno poppers tasted like any other jalapeno poppers anywhere else. I do appreciate the jalapenos were huge & there was a lot of imitation crab. The orange chicken, I had a small bite but I can't recall my opinion so I won't speak on it. The super roll was very bland & did not have any flavor whatsoever. The star of the show was the mango habanero roll. I asked him for the spiciest roll in which he recommended the mango habanero. The spice was there & had a kick in it. That was about it though. Nothing to wow us. Overall, I probably wouldn't be coming back. But I am glad I gave this business a try & it is now crossed off my Yelp bucket list of must-try's. I also wanted to add; this man did NOT skimp! Portions were big, he was not stingy with sauces. He packed me loads of sauces without me needing to ask him. So, A+ to him for that.

It probably would've been faster if they weren't so backed up. I ordered the Wagyu beef and chicken shawarma plate for me and my wife to share. I added 3 falafels and pita bread on top of it. As my friend and I made a final brewery stop at Duck Foot Brewing before heading home, thank goodness for AntoYitos Borincanos Food Truck since the brewery didn't serve food nor had any snacks for sale. Being a born-and-bred Angeleno, I grew up in the food cart/truck and street vendor culture, so I always appreciated and supported the strong work effort it took for these individuals to somehow make a living. Would I enjoy the Puerto Rican heritage cuisine prepared in remembrance of "Yito"!? QUICK BIO Founded by two sisters, Jennifer and Nadeshka Roman - both born in Puerto Rico. They were raised in Camuy, where they constantly watched their father do what he was so passionate about: cooking. He became a chef and had many dreams and goals yet to fulfill. Sadly, he passed away in 2006; and although they were just young girls at the time, they have always remembered his passion for the culinary arts. In his memory, they decided to name their business AntoYitos Borincanos--"Yito" being his nickname. The company's logo symbolized their roots and their father's greatest passions.
