My son brought his construction crew to Taco Mania every day for a week. That was a good enough recommendation for us. So we headed there for date night. I was expecting good tacos. Maybe they could just put taco fillings on a salad base for me? Since going keto in March, I've discovered that my foodie loving heart just struggles to find good food that will work for my needs. It was hard enough when my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease and we tried to find gluten free food. keto was much harder. But then I saw the words KETO PLATTER on the menu. They actually made tacos out of crispy cheese folded around the taco fillings. And it was incredibly delicious. My husband laughed when he saw tears in my eyes. This taco was a Very Big Deal. I took an extra picture to show the composition of the taco they made me cry. Check it out. I chose Birria and Carne Asada for my taco fillings. Hubs chose Al Pastor and Carne Asada. Both were great. The staff welcomed us as newbies and explained the menu. The establishment was very clean (not even one table was messy). There was a fridge full of Coke bottles (assuming that was the real deal Mexican Coke). There was a soda fountain and a salsa bar. We will be back to try every taco combo. Flavor and quality you won't find anywhere else. We tried TacoMania for the first time, and realized that we were still talking about how good it was the next day! We met the owner, and she super friendly. She was so sweet and patient with us as we decided what to order. Between the two of us, we tried the birria tacos, carne asada cheesy tacos, brisket burrito, and chips with cheese sauce. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender, rich, and flavorful, and felt like higher quality than I've found in a taco or burrito anywhere else, the chips are clearly made in-house, heavy, crispy, perfectly salty, and delicious. The salsa bar had several great options for all levels of heat and a variety of flavors. We left very full and with some leftovers, and already planning our next visit to try other dishes. I got some food to go at Taco Mania while I was out running errands, and I had a positive experience! I was a little confused about where to order, but once I figured that out, things went smoothly. The queso tacos and the burrito are great options and something we keep coming back for. The chips and cheese or the rice as a side are both great. We tend to favor the birria as protein but the other options are super flavorful as well. The seating area is pretty small so if it's busy it can be hard to find a seat. We ordered taco mania for meeting today. Super tasty and was made fresh upon ordering. The cashier was lovely. She wasn't sure how to do tax exemptions but went above and beyond to get it done properly. It's a really cute spot, with great food options. We waited in line for 55 minutes (stood at the register for 20 minutes waiting for them to take our order, so it's not like the line was THAT long). They never once told us why it was taking so long, but I know that even when people did get their orders in it took them another 30 minutes to get their food. We left without ordering. read more

What I saw was Tacoma which is where I'm from in Washington so I checked closer and found a new taco spot. Walked in Friday at 7pm and the place is packed. Good sign. I ordered 2 carne asada on flour and 2 al pastor on corn tortilla ... they are out of the birra so will need to come back another time for that... First bite... carne asada on flour tortillas... so moist and fresh! The carne was tender. Wow so surprised. I was expecting dry tough chewy beef and I got lots of flavor and easy to chew and appreciate the quality. I added onion and cilantro from the salsa bar with a creamy orange colored sauce that was supposed to be really hot. It was fantastic. Spicy but not debilitating. Next was al Pastor on the corn tortilla... I used the tomatillo salsa... perfectly spicy... the Al pastor was so flavorful, Smokey and super tender...This is my new spot. I had to go back for more! Two Chipotle Chick on corn tortilla with melted cheese... called the cheesy taco. Second set is braised brisket on flour tortilla ... added the spicy salsa with onion and cilantro.... F bomb these are both amazing! So tender and the flavors and delicious. Please support this small business. This needs to survive. It's such a challenge to find good food and this is that spot. Amazing spot for Tacos! I love all the topping bars, and the sauces are tasty. We arrived Al pastor, carne asada, chorizo and cheesy Birria Tacos they were both so yummy. For Birria we ordered the cosine on the side, which is a must! The service is quick, you order and sit down and your tacos will come to the table. The tacos were pretty good BUT very small portions. Tried the birria cheesy taco, Al pastor cheesy taco, chorizo, carne asada and brisket tacos. The meats were all juicy but pretty bland. They have a self serve cart with salsas, onions, cilantro and lime. Even after all that and $30 I would expect to be leaving full but I left still hungry. We also had a birria burrito which thankfully was pretty large came with 5 chips lol but still bland. Lots of sour cream. read more

Tacomania was absolutely delicious. We got 2 burritos and nachos. The meats we tried were chipotle chicken, brisket, and Barria. It was just so good. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The burrito has the perfect ingredients and I loved how the nachos had actual nacho cheese not just melted cheese. Only $32 for all of it! I will say I am a frequent customer, but today, 9/29/25 at 3:45, I stopped in to get some tacos. When I pulled up, I noticed a young lady with black gloves on dumping the mop bucket outside. I walked in right behind her. She took the mop to the "janitor's closet" and put it away. She then came over to the register to take my order. I made my order and kept watching her. She proceeded back to the janitor's list and grabbed the mop and started mopping. Another customer came in, and she took his order, then went back again to clean. When the person who ordered in front of me food was ready, she grabbed his and took it to his table. As she went to grab my food, I stood up and asked her to change her gloves before she touched my food. She was obviously annoyed, rolled her eyes, and walked to the back where I couldn't see her. Who knows if she actually changed her gloves or not? As a regular customer, this was disgusting and makes me wonder how sanitary it really is here. read more

My expectations were for very flavorful authentic street tacos, but these were not like most street tacos I've ever had. Tortillas were "ok", chicken flavor was "ok" and salsas were "good". TacoMania? More like Taco Paradise. Sometimes you just need a street taco, yet it's hard to find the perfect street taco. TacoMania has it! You know how street tacos always have two corn tortillas? Well, TacoMania crisps both tortillas and then tops them. Not only does this genius move add an amazing texture, but they don't get soggy and fall apart. This allows the meat to be served juicy, without ruining the taco. It also allows support for all the toppings and salsa that you could want, without becoming too big for the tortilla to handle. In other words, I can never go back to street tacos that don't do this. We both preferred the carne asada over the Al pastor, although the Al pastor was still delicious. I doubt you could go wrong. The interior is also clean, bright, and modern. It is just fun. We will be back to try the nachos, and of course more tacos. We definitely found our new go-to taco spot! read more

Here is the bottom line up front: amazing tacos stuffed to the gills with meat and cheese-great value, especially the Big Street Taco Combo. Two massive tacos, rice or nachos and a drink worth every penny at $11.99 w/o cheese and $12.99 w/ cheese. Plus the salsas are Muy Rico! I literally reflect upon my happy state every time I finish my meal-I just couldn't do the rhyme there. Yet, the last bite is alway bittersweet as I hate to see my joy come to an end. I really can't believe I haven't written a review for TacoMania yet. I love these tacos! Let me start by saying we are lucky to have so many great choices for Mexican food in the valley. I guess you could say that one of my favorite hobbies is searching out great tacos where I live and wherever I travel. I could eat tacos 4-5 times a week and never get bored. I am psyched to have the best birria and carne asada tacos in the state less than ten minutes from my house. The birria tacos are perfectly seasoned, perfectly crisp and perfectly juicy. When you go "cheesy" there is so much cheese that I can only eat one due to my lactose sensitivity. This is not bad news because I always pair the birria with a carne asada taco. This carne is on point. You could not ask for more in a steak taco. You can get that cheesy too, but again that would be too much for me in one sitting. The rice is great too. It's simple and not over seasoned. After all that, you are going to love the salsa bar. They have salsas for everyone from mild to decently hot all with great flavor profiles. Others have mentioned the "orange" salsa. It's a pleasantly piquante creamy looking, orange-hued masterpiece. Confession: I always sneak a few sips from my salsa cup while I'm waiting for my tacos. (I really need that recipe! I promise I won't stop coming as often if you share it with me.) It took me awhile to even try the place. Not trying to be offensive, but I thought the name sounded too gringo to be a taco Mecca. Boy was I wrong about that and now I do have TacoMania. I'm close to eating there at least once a week. In fact, this review is making my mouth water so much, I'm heading there when I'm done. I wholeheartedly recommend that you head on down yourself, be a part of the best kind of pandemic and get yourself a case of TacoMania too! TBH-I have a couple request for the owners and management. I hope they take them in the kind spirit they are given. #1: It would be great if you could provide salt shakers or salt packets. Necesito un poco de sal por favor. #2: Please consider placing all utensils with handles-up in the bins. I prefer not to eat from spoons that have been touched by hundreds of other happy taco-maniacs. I admit, I won't stop coming if you don't honor those requests, but I bet many others would appreciate the gestures too. Thank you for opening this awesome eatery in my corner of the valley.
