Tried it for the first time yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised. We had the nacho fries. Loved it. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was tasty and filling. My only thing - a bit salty. But I don't use a lot of salt on my food so, that may be it. Love the drinks - both the strawberry watermelon and the punch. Great place to stop by. I've been here about 4 times now. My most recent visit they acknowledged they were understaffed and they were working very fast and hard and I had no problem waiting. The visit before the queso came out so watery that it also couldn't adhere to the chips. When inquired the gentleman working seemed very offended and we were told that just means it's fresh. It wasn't like that the time before nor yesterday (it was as expected for typical queso 2/3 times). I think their portion size is good as well as flavor. I love this place! They have so many protein choices - my favorites are the shrimp, mahi mahi & fish! The crab cake has a great flavor but I wish they would make them small so they could be crispy, instead they turn mushy after eating half the taco. The same for the eggplant but I love they offer it. Everything is fresh & they let you switch out the protein to make exactly the taco you want, could you ask for anything more? Their charity approach is awesome & their staff is super friendly. My last little complaint is that it's too dark inside. Makes it feel dreary. I eat here at least once a week or more. It's great! read more

I saw Tacos 4 Life come across the Lunch Drop service at work and decided to give it try. SO glad I did! I ordered the Southwest Rice Bowl add chicken ($2 extra) and it was really good! The ingredients tasted really fresh and everything even down to the rice had a ton of flavor. I loved the chipotle ranch as a sauce topping. Another thing that stood out was how HUGE the portion was. I am not kidding you - I ate the bowl for lunch, dinner, and I even have leftovers for lunch today! That's three meals in 1. I was able to easily navigate their online portal to order my dinner and when I clicked the submit button, it promised it would be ready in ten minutes. A few minutes later, I arrived and parked. Stepping inside, my order was not ready until... it was. Precisely ten minutes on the dot! Bringing dinner home and unwrapping it was easy. Two soft tacos stuffed with grilled fish and topped with (a lot of) flavorful cabbage and each one had a lime wedge. Not quite easy to eat as the cabbage wanted to spill out, but delicious. Moist and a good portion of fish. For my side, I chose the Mexican creamed corn. Tasty and perhaps a little sweet, it was enjoyable. This was a good meal. Perhaps next time I'll dine in. Can you honestly go wrong with a taco joint? I sure don't think so, this place was awesome and the customer service was amazing. I tried the grilled shrimp Hawaiian and Korean bbq with a side of Mexican street corn. Both were delish, although next time I'll know to eat the Korean last because the spice level was a little high for me lol. The street corn was so so good. I'm really sad saying this cause we just discovered this place and love the variety of food choices that they have on the menu. I went earlier in the day and I was watching one of the team members doing her thing at the pick up station where dashers pick up online orders while I was waiting for my to-go order. She was scooping ice with the cup and wasn't using gloves, when she should have been using an ice scoop. Then she decided to clean some tables but then touched a tray of food to give to a customer that was dining in without washing her hands from cleaning tables. Then she picked up a broom to sweep and briefly put the broom down to hand me my food... I'm quite disgusted. She even had the cleaner bottle hanging from her pants when she handed it to me. Just from seeing this, it makes me question their cleaning habits and how clean their store is. Please wash hands and put on gloves! Needed a quick meal between my son's soccer game and my tennis match so I Yelped this place near the Walmart where I bought tennis balls for my match. The inside was empty and the patio was packed with families with kids. My ears needed some relief so I stayed inside. The first elite Yelper Joe said the carnitas and Mahi Mahi Tacos were good so I went with the 2 taco and a side deal w/ cilantro pesto rice. I had never been to Tacos 4 Life or heard of it prior to this visit so when the guy rang me up I asked if they had a military discount. The guy didn't know so he asked the manager and he promptly responded "No". I guess it surprises me that a place that has "Give" in huge letters doesn't honor veterans with a discount. The carnitas taco was my favorite of the 2 tacos. The rice was a bit on the dry side. I will try this place again when I am at the Arboretum. read more

We have been here a couple times this year. First time we had take out and most recently, we stopped by the restaurant. We enjoyed it both times. Absolutely love their flavorful tacos! The Good: Chicken Fajita Tacos Crabcake Tacos Carnitas Tacos Chips with Guacamole and Queso - Guac is outstanding. The queso has really enjoyable spice and flavor to it, but it is too thin. I'd still get it again though. Mexican Creamed Corn The Bad: Salsa - I did not enjoy. My husband did like it, but I just thought it tasted like watered down salsa. Spicy Chorizo Taco - it has excellent flavor, but even if I take off the jalapenos on top, the chorizo is spicy! Just too spicy for me. So I wish I could have the chorizo without all the spice! I look forward to going back to trying more of their menu. The have a fantastic patio. A couple of the tables are not covered, but most of them are, so you are in the shade, but you still get a lot of light. The patio is dog/pet friendly too! read more

After reading my favorite Yelpers raves about this new taco joint, we finally checked it out for an early Friday dinner. Although most tables were empty upon our arrival, the whole restaurant was swarming with employees, and for good reason; all of the available inside tables were full by the time we left around 6. The atmosphere is bright and cheery. Roomy booths surround comfy retro kitchen tables. After some guidance from our friendly young cashier, our food arrived in a matter of minutes. We both ordered taco meals which consist of two tacos + a side at around $10. You have a choice of shells: Soft, hard or puffy. I recommend puffy all the way. The Korean BBQ was loaded with tender steak but I would have preferred pulled or minced meat rather than the chunks as served. It was tasty however. The Blackened Mahi taco reminded me of Cabo Fish Taco's. My wife enjoyed her Grilled Chicken tacos. Our sides, the Mexican Cream Corn and the Cilantro Pesto Rice, were just okay; however, the crushed ice with the fountain drinks was a welcome surprise. During our meal, management checked on us twice. If that level of dedication continues this place will be around a long time. This is absolutely by far my favorite location. From the customer service to the consistency, I'm willing to go out of my way to drive to this location. From the moment you walk in, you feel how welcomed you are. The ambiance just feels right and the staff makes you feel at home. The menu selection is extensive and the cashier always grants me patience to be able to decide what entree I'm going to try today. I went there this afternoon and picked up my food, they forgot to add the queso to the bag as well as my queso rice(that comes with the quesadillas). This spot just might be my new place to go. After hearing my friends rave about it this place, I finally decided to give it a shot. It was so filling and I loved how the portions were so generous. The chorizo and chicken ranch were my favorite. The chicane taste like fajita style and was perfectly seasoned.
