Shockingly good service!! I was curious about this place because of the heaters. Who puts up 6 tables, near a taco truck at a car wash and then sets up heaters?? OK so you walk up and instead of ordering from the guys on the truck you place your order with a guy in a crisp uniform standing outside the truck. I pay, he gives me a ticket (??) and I sit next to one of the heaters. A couple minutes later Mr. Crisp Uniform comes by with my order on a tray. Three tacos, check. Horchata, check. Little pile of seasoned, grilled onions, Huh? A sliced up radish and a tub of salsa that I didn't have to get myself, Wow. A small side order of hot beans?? Geeez!! A couple minutes later Mr. Crisp comes by again. This time offering a napkin. A minute or two later I see him walk behind the truck, take off that apron and use the restroom that's part of the car wash. You've got to be kidding! A bathroom at a taco cart??!! At this point I'm wondering if a little Asian gal's gonna come out and offer me a massage or someone's gonna suggest they change my oil. Yeah, Sweetie, just a little to the left. I've been on a taco craze lately. I found a spot that delivers to me based in East LA but the problem is there not open Mon-Wednesday. So in crazed craving I set out on Uber eats to find the next great taco spot. I love Yelp and turned to it to set me up for success but sadly this time it gave me a very mediocre option- Taco Arandas. My drug of choice: Al Pastor and Apollo with Horchata Tacos: 2.5/5- Pollo & Al Pastor 3/5 Horchata: 3/5 large portion just very watery The condiments: the best things, marinated onions, plenty of radishes and lime and just enough cilantro and onions. Oh and frijoles Not sure if I'll be back. I hope they step it up their taco game especially hearing how sweet they are. read more

I was driving near Florence and Main and noticed a taco truck. I got my go-to item (asada burrito w/ everything, no rice, add cheese). In addition to the familiar bag of limes and radishes, they included a really good, super saucy baggie of cooked onions. They did not include an extra red hot sauce but when I asked for one they gave one and were super friendly. Red hot sauce was very good and definitely spicy. However, the burrito itself was rather small. It was perfect for my "cheat meal" but I probably would not go back for a burrito because it's about 60% of the size of places I frequent. (Maybe tacos are regular size? Who knows.) Generally, the more police action a neighborhood has the greater my expectations; Florence between Main and Avalon is about as real as it gets. 3 stars is really not a bad review, considering how small the burrito was and the fact that this truck charged full price and didn't have the overhead that restaurants have. read more

If I'm hungry and there is nothing else, (because they do close late) I only get a cheese quesadilla. The salsa is spicy but tasteless. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was okay. I love adding salt to my food and this plate in particular didn't need it, so if you don't like too much salt on your food, skip the chicken. Delicious tacos. The tortilla is nice and thick and tasty. The tacos are full with meat. I love the buche and pastor. They put plenty of onion and cilantro. Cebollas asadas are great. Salsa verde is good...the red one is tooo spicy...unflavorful spicy. So I only use a dollop. The burritos are ok but the tacos beat them all.
