    Nice Size Parking Lot
    Keyonda A.

This is a very nice stop and go taco spot. There's plenty of parking for the size of the establishment. It is clean and spacious when it comes to dining. The menus are clear and spot on and the service was quick and efficient. The food taste good and the portions were plenty. I love the fact that they're not stingy when it comes to condiments and toppings to put on your tacos. The prices are reasonable. I ordered the taco plate that comes with three tacos beans and rice and chips. Everything tasted good. I love the fact that the cheese was actually melted into the beans and it made it more enjoyable to have with the chips. There was plenty of meat in the tacos which made them a good portion size. I would definitely stop by again.

    Tacos de asada

The food was delicious. We just landed at lax and came from France where the food wasn't too good. We couldn't wait to eat Mexican food. This place was delicious. The salsas were delicious. The ladies at that helped us were very friendly. It could be a little cleaner where we sat.

Super Fries!! It's definitely delicious and fulfilling

I was craving for a burger, and I noticed this location as I was stuck in traffic. Asked the lady what's their specialty here since it was my very first time. She recommended the Asada Fries. I asked her if it would be enough to get full as I was starving. She said it's more than enough. I took her advice and man, she was right. The asada Fries with all the toppings was BOMB!! I would definitely recommend trying them if you're hungry. I'll be back again just for the Asada Fries. Maybe I'll try something else on the menu as well.

Killem with Kindness. The food is good, service is what you expect ( decent enough). The taco special is a great buy for someone who is looking for a quick bite. The onions are sweet and with the cilantro, limes, cucumber and radishes sends these tacos to another level.

    Fresh chips , tacos , potato's

The best tacos I have had in LA! They cater at my office !!! I cannot wait to have them cater for our family event ! Meat is delicious and their rice and beans and guacamole is exquisite ! Not to mention their fresh chips !! 10/10

I wanted to order all the things but I exercised some restraint and just ordered the CARAMELO ($8.75 - Flour tortilla, pinto beans, Monterey Jack cheese, avocado salsa, salsa roja, avocado, cabbage.). I picked chorizo as my protein option. I also, of course, had to also add the smoky grilled poblano chile for $1.25. It was SO good and FLAVORFUL - it didn't even need the salsas. Although, I will note that both the salsas were lovely. The flour tortilla was clearly freshly made. Also, it was a massive portion. I don't know what I was expecting. If this is the size of their caramelo, I don't want to know how giant the burrito is. I also had to get the cucumber agua fresca to pair with my caramelo. It was perfectly sweetened and wonderfully refreshing. I'll have to make my way back here now to try the burrito 2.0 and chivichanga.

I came here for dinner on a week night and my experience here was pretty good. I had the asada and al pastor tacos with all the toppings and they were both so good and full of meat and heat. The toppings can be spicy for some, so be warned. My favorite of the two was the all pastor which was flavorful and I did like the thinly shaved meat. It was not dry at all and was fresh. I also tried the mulita with al pastor meat and that was also soso good. Cheesy, meaty, and indulgent. The additional topping section had good variety with pickled onions, cucumbers, etc. and everything seemed pretty fresh. Unfortunately, they were pretty much out of the roasted pepper and grilled onions at the time I went. To drink, I had the horchata and that was also very delicious. It was huge, sweet, and creamy. I also loved how it was not grainy at all. A good pairing with the rich foods. They also have a good amount of seating at the stand with a long table and multiple chairs. Parking is tricky since its street parking only.

I've been meaning to try the other items on their menu, but it was so good the first time that I had to order it again. The portions are *very* generous, and they had the usual sides readily available on the side: lemons, cucumbers, sliced radish, grilled onions and peppers, etc. Also had a bite of their corn quesadilla... the tortilla was soooo good. They had the masa on the side and were making the tortillas fresh and by hand. Yum. Payment: - They take Apple pay! :) Parking: - We found street parking nearby thankfully, but it might be hard to find in general due to the area. Seating: - They have seating to the left of their grill (tables, folding chairs, a tarp overhead). Depending on the time of day, sometimes the shade doesn't quite cover your face--the sun was setting and hitting us right in the eyes, so we switched sides to sit facing away from the sun once those seats were available.

Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

The tostada was very hard and chewy thought I was going to brake a tooth. Asada meat and guacamole on the tostada had no salt. Tortillas hand made which that's a plus Agua fresca de pineapple tasted water down too much just tasted the water with hint of pineapple. If you new to this place just know that you can ask for frijoles de la olla on the side they are free. I did like that they had grill onions and it's self serve. Street parking available, but know area not the best to be in. Tables have about 3 incase you planning eat there, & if super hungry know you will be waiting for a long time.
