Great food, Punctual, Respectful, & well priced. We had a birthday for my son, fed around 55 people. Steak, chicken, pastor tacos with rice and beans. It was a huge hit, everyone liked the food. They brought their own equipment to include silver ware, plates and napkins for all of us. They had their salsa bar set up all nice and clean. Only thing that sucked was that we couldn't get aguas frescas. They mentioned something about being over booked butI mean it is cinco de Mayo. Overall would recommend & book again. read more

Very disappointed customer. Do not recommend. I had purchased the deluxe package which included not just tacos but mulitas and quesadillas and an agua fresca for my party on 6/11/2022. When the "kids" showed up. They said they did not have flour tortillas for quesadillas. Alot of ppl at my party wanted the quesadillas but they didn't have any for which I paid for. The mulitas were made with small street tacos tortillas instead of regular sized corn tortillas. I messaged the owner to see if I can get a refund for paying for the full service but not receiving it and they said that quesadillas are made with small street corn tortillas and if I wanted flour tortillas I had to pay extra. So for the deluxe package all we got was cheese and an agua Fresca. Would not do service with them again. read more

I gave them 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. The two gentlemen who catered my event made the chicken way too salty. 2. The cilantro they provided was not fresh. It was browning and wilted. 3. Horchata did not have cinnamon and was not mixed well. It tasted like sweet powdered milk. 4. The caterers forgot to provide the cups for the horchata 5. First off, People please please make sure your paying attention to the people serving your food. I really love their tacos and the people are nice but that does not make up the lack of cleanliness and sanitization. I Went to order food while absorbing how some workers are not properly using mas and not using gloves to handle our food but what is worst is how I witness a server whipping his nose and not washing his hands. Last month we had a party in remembrance of one of my husband's fellow Marine Corp brothers. We decided to hire Chris and his company and needless to say it was a WONDERFUL experience. Chris was extremely professional, polite and very caring in regards to the reason for the party. I didn't have to worry about a thing! He did it all! The food was incredible, fresh, he graciously boxed up all of the left overs and even arrived early then what was the designated time of arrival. Even after Chris left all of the guests and these USMC Veterans couldn't stop talking about awesome the food was! I was pretty amazed on how quick they respond. I sent them a message on a Wednesday for a Saturday day event and was able to book them. The setup was quick and a great set up with salsa and condiments. The food was delicious! My favorite was the chicken as it had plenty of flavor and was not dry at all. I went back for more. I give them 5 stars because I contacted them with a very short notice, probably 4-5 days notice and they were available. I needed the service in Hemet, Ca and they went there. It was for a wedding and they got there right on time and started serving the food on time. I requested for them to make some quesadillas the only thing is that the cheese wasn't all the way melted but other than that the meats and salsa were really good and they made mulitas too. Nothing makes an event easier than having someone take care of the food. I have had a couple events catered by Tacos el Cacheton. Christian is not only pleasant and accommodating, but he is also helpful, timely, and great to do business with. This review would not mean anything if I didn't mention the quality of the food. The tacos are by far some of the best I have ever had. I usually avoid chicken tacos when someone else has hired a taquero because they're usually ok at best. However, I won't skip out on any of variety of tacos he offers. They are all GOOD. The salsas are not a cover up for the lack of flavor either (like other Taquero's). The salsas add to the great flavor of the Tacos. I have always gotten great reviews from the guest at our parties. As for me and my house, we choose Tacos el Cacheton! read more

Had the taco man for my Dad's memorial on December 8th. They showed up early and set up quickly. They food was delicious according to all of the guest especially the chicken. The avocado salsa was a hit people couldn't get enough of it. The only complaint would be the size of the bean and rice servings. They served for the agreed upon 2 hours, and packaged the leftovers for us. Overall it was a great experience. read more

Had to write a review. Maybe Robert L. works for the competition because everyone I've taken to this truck loves it and it stays crowded. The meat is cooked on a grill with mesquite and has such a wonderful flavor. The green sauce is flavorful and the red is VERY hot. I like hot. This is VERY hot. This is a truck not a brick and mortar so sometimes they aren't there but it's rare. My favorite is the carne asada. It's also their most popular. read more

After the original post - today the owner apologized over the phone; since he had sent 2 employees to cover this event, and made amends for this incident. Thank u This past weekend we went to my nephew's pool party where this venue catered, not to impressed with their food, but the worse part was the dishonesty the two young guys presented. The party was for 80 pp were asada, chicken rice and beans was agreed on the contract; unfortunately only 35 pp showed up, however, these guys were expected to leave the remaining food with the host ( for 40 pp at least)...this didn't happened, only partial of the chicken and rice was left behind, they took with them ALL of the tortillas and ALL of the carne asada and the rest of the rice and beans. The kids and adults got hungry after getting out of the water around 6pm ( after the guys were vanished) and we couldn't feed them tacos because we had NO tortillas and NO carne asada. Thanks to Tacos El Cacheton!! I used them back in September and am just writing this review. They were recommended to me by a family friend and they responded to my text within 5 minutes. I needed them with less than a weeks notice and they quickly confirmed they were available, laid out the menu, and quoted a great price for my 50 guests. The great service didn't stop there. Once confirmed, they laid out arrival time, cook time, and serve time. They showed up on time, got set up, and started cooking. The food was great, the service was great, and all guests were happy and stuffed! We also had some leftovers and they helped us pack them in containers, gave us the salsas and condiments, and packed up. By the time they were done packing up, you wouldn't have even known they were there. They cleaned up, made sure nothing was left behind, and that we were happy. Hired these guys for my grandmother's surprise party. Only thing that was good was the chicken tacos. Rice taste like it was pre-heated from the day before. Beans had no flavor. The condiments table looks better on picture. More onion then cilantro. No chips or radish were offered & we had to take more napkins out because they ran out.
