On preparation for the baby shower of our first baby I was in charge of the food and wearing something nice. I had arranged a deal with another catering company so on my end everything was done. The day before our baby shower they canceled but didn't give me a reason. I sent out messages and emails to several other caterers but the majority were booked and the ones that weren't wanted to take advantage of my situation. When I got a response from El Cacheton their pricing was fair so I arranged a deal hoping my better half wouldn't find out. After I sent them my information I received an immediate call back from Chris. He was extremely professional and clear on what they needed. I was back on track. His people were real friendly, arrived on time set everything up. Let me tell you something.... I've had many a tacos from catering companies in my day. Some are good, some are ok and some are just inedible. El Cacheton has some of the best tacos in the business IMO. All of our guests loved them as well. Service is as great as the tacos. The team that came to our place was so friendly and professional. I couldn't have asked for more. In all I just want to say THANK YOU. thank you for saving our baby shower. I found them on yelp, wasn't expecting much since I had lots of tacos at other parties before but tacos el cacheton exceeded my expectations by far! The ladies were very nice and the tacos were super delicious, everybody liked them, we had some left over food so we had a great breakfast. The only thing I could probably note as improvement advise would be that the next time they should come with their own shade I wasn't going to let the ladies stand under the hot sun for so long so I rearranged my set up and accommodated them. Just a suggestion, or just let the host know you would be needing a shade so that we know how to proceed. Overall a great experience, would totally used them again. Frank and his assistant did a fantastic job. To make it even worse, they have still not returned our deposit. This was beyond unprofessional, completely disrespectful, and caused unnecessary stress and embarrassment. Save yourself the stress and do not hire Lua's Tacos Catering company.
