This has become my go-to spot for Mexican food. Orders that never fail me: - Street tacos ($2.59 ea): good standard sized taco - Tacos Dorados de Birria($8.99 for 3): so flavorful, just get it. - Asada Nachos ($11.49): this is the perfect sharing item on the menu, I'd say it's shareable amongst 2-3 people. I love these nachos over other spots because it is jam packed with flavor and they do not skimp on toppings (especially onions and cilantro). - Agua de Pina: just size up and share since it's only a dollar difference between a medium and large! Service can be hit or miss, but I will always come back because the food just speaks for itself.

Ordered online. Ordered 3 queso birria tacos for my son. We got regular crunchy tacos with the meat inside. They were not dipped and fried in the birria sauce. Went in to ask if they could fix it and all they did was refried them in oil. Horrible

Finally got to try this new Tacos El Goloso location. Delicious food, fresh and flavorful. The Carne Asada is excellent, the al pastor is on the sweet side. I love the consome. Service is excellent, fast, and efficient. The inside dining is small but clean. Most customers order takeout.

Grand opening day with a live band!

Sooo this place opened a couple of days ago and it's amazing! FINALLY we have authentic Mexican food after Chile Verde no longer is here! They ended up keeping some of their past workers like the kick ass Josh and others!!! Their grand opening was dope because they had a live band playing Mexican music literally all damn day and night to promote their company!!!! I had their Tacos Dorados De Birria meal that came with fresh chips on the side and salsa. I loved it! If you've been to the El Golosos in LBC and Torrance, then you will know how great their food is. The parking is free and cool because it's in a huge strip mall next to an Albertsons, GameStop, Starbucks, etc. Angie and Mona stand out as well with their kick ass customer service and they let me as well as others know what to get if we have a brain fart of confusion of what we are craving. Phenomenal customer service, clean place and they are all so well organized! Everyone here works hard and it shows in how well this place is run! Definitely coming back more and more to try everything else on their menu! Great job! 5 stars because I'm not one of those Yelpers who will write a positive review with NO negative, but NOT give a flawless 5!!!

I was happy to hear when this place opened because I was driving further to the Harbor City location. The cashier was very pleasant and greeted me as I walked in. The place was clean and everyone working appeared busy even though no other customers were present. I ordered my usual, potato tacos dorado. They were fried nice and crunchy. Toppings were fresh and it comes with the birria sauce. I won't say the tacos are very seasoned or birria sauce the most flavorful. But, I can enjoy this item without fail since I am a pescatarian. Horchata is good but on the (very) sweet side. The cashier suggested adding a bit of water when I got home since I chose to keep the drink. I'll be back...

great birria tacos! i've been to tacos el goloso every time i miss mexico and their tacos dorados de birria always makes me feel better. can't say much about the interior since i always take out but they did have a lot of seating when i picked up my food. i honestly haven't tried their other menus so i can't say if their other menus are great but from their birria tacos, i can say that the tacos are juicy, the ratio of cheese and meat is good, and their complimentary chips are great as well~

Went to Carson location and I was highly disappointed. I ordered the carne asada fries. Before I left I opened my food and was extremely shocked by the food they gave me to make matters worse as I was looking at my food the entire cooking staffed watched me and make me even more uncomfortable and no one should ever be treated like this. This established need zero stars and even thats to nice in my opinion. I will not be going back.

I see nopales on the menu! Location is easy to find in the Albertson's & Home Depot shopping center near Sepulveda & Dolores. Parking is abundant in a private lot, street parking is also available. Located across from the star.bucks store. Staff is busy working hard, professional. Parking is abundant in a private lot. There is also street parking along Sepulveda. Interior has plenty of tables for small groups & a counter. Exterior also has tables available. No customer WC & thus the reason I cannot give this place 5 stars.

Three tacos dorados de birria combo, delicious five star for me

Great service, and the food is a 10 out of 10.the consome is amazing. Coming back no doubt, beats teddys red tacos. Someone argue with me. Haha.

Was hungry after the game and was craving some tacos.. My daughter told me about the new spot in Carson so decided to try it out. The service was great and my daughter did the yelp reviews for a free drink. She got the horchata and she said was very good. They had indoor and outdoor seating but we got ours to go. Not many people dining in but had quite a few to go orders while i was there. A very chill spot for some good food. We had the Birria tacos, carne asada street tacos and the mulitas pastor.. Delicious will definitely come back to try more stuff off of their menu.

Parking was easy, and when we walked in, there was only one occupied table. Three employees were chatting in the back. We were greeted, but it felt more like, "What would you like?" than "Welcome in." No smile, no conversation, no thank you--just a transaction. After taking our order, the employee returned to chatting with coworkers. When our order was ready, our name was called, the halo-halo was placed on the counter, and that was the end of the interaction. As for the halo-halo itself, my partner rated it a 2/10. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. Until then, we'll continue our search for our next favorite halo-halo spot.

Ben Scoops specializes in Filipino/Southeast Asian ice cream flavors, including cool flavors like macapuno, lúcuma, even durian! I opted for a small cup (two flavors) with one scoop being ube and the other cantaloupe (seasonal). ...and wow, did they deliver! The cantaloupe was my favorite, having that juicy, sweet taste associated with the fruit. I'm typically not a huge fan of cantaloupe, but this one was so good, even having little chunks of the fruit inside!! I also liked the ube scoop: the flavor was more-subtle, but I think it's because they use real ube to make it, instead of artificially-flavored. Made for a lightly-sweet, slightly-savory and earthy experience which I enjoyed. Ben Scoops really surprised me in taste and quality. Solid ice cream with interesting flavors to try. So take it for what it is.. and as a fellow Asian, I'm expecting natural strong flavors. I'll start with the best thing about the ice cream. The texture is a 5/5! Solid work on creaminess. Now for why I just wasn't so excited about it all. I talked about flavor. It's lacking. It tasted very milky and washed out and I really had to concentrate on exactly what flavor I was supposed to be tasting. We got three diff flavors. Regular vanilla bean, ny cherry, and halo halo. Another thing lacking was service. She was nice. But didn't seem excited to be there. And it didn't make me excited to be there. What killed it for us was the location as a whole. It comes off as a nice outdoor space. But no one cares about you. Honestly, all three times I've been to this location for different venues, I've had very rude encounters. No other place have I been to that's been this consistent with people who just don't care. So I guess my take away is - the place is fine. It'll hit the spot for ice cream. But take it and leave. They have so many cool venues around like hiro nori, nook, spam masubi... it's a shame that people around are so much about themselves.

For me, regular shaved ice usually lacks enough syrup or the ice is too hard. I'm such a wuss, I know, but I hate feeling like I overpaid for a cup of ice. It has been brutally hot and today seemed like a great day to have some shaved ice. The cafe is located in a Korean plaza on Western and 154th. Smoking Tiger coffee is also in the same plaza. The boba shop is located on the northwest corner next to Dentist of Old Torrance with plenty of parking. The shop's dining space is mostly of 2-tops that can be adjusted to seat larger groups, with a unisex restroom is in the back. There's a corner to the right of the entrance with a Boba Bunny neon sign & powder blue scooter that's great for taking pics! I first learned of the shop via Toast last year when they offer a $2.00 birthday treat. My son has tried most of the local boba shops so I wanted to see how this ranks on his list. The menu is pretty extensive for its size with: fresh fruit teas, blended fruit/smoothies, fruit yogurt, fruit mocktails, premium milk teas, pure teas, cheesy bunny teas, tea lattes, ice milks, coffees, toppings ice creams, build your own (bubble) waffle, bubble waffle combo, churros, shaved ice, hot sandwiches/paninis, toasts, croissants, rice bowls, salads, munchies, add-ones... whew! There's also collectible boba bear bottles that's refillable; I don't think the refillable bottle is more than their large drinks unlike some other shops with refill options. Stopping by on a late Saturday morning, it was quiet. It took a few minutes to peruse their menu & I had a few questions since the electronic menu & kiosk didn't have a description of the ingredients. I ordered Lychee Berry with Crystal Boba, & M picked a large Strawberry Mochi Shaved Ice. It took a few minutes before my order was ready. I liked the Lychee Berry... it has a floral & sweet tart taste from the lychees & strawberries, with a moderate serving of crystal boba. The shaved ice was definitely IG-worthy! It's piled high with ice fluff & topped with fresh strawberries, mochis, & a strawberry bunny jello; their house special strawberry purée, a bit too sweet for my liking, is set aside to prevent diluting the shaved ice. The mochi is colored, but it doesn't taste flavored or fresh (in-house) made; fresh as in chewy & pillowy like a marshmallow. The jiggly bunny makes a fun pic (see videos)! M thought it was funny to tap its behind, & we had it angled so that it looks like it's eating a pink mochi. Hehehe... While it's creative to a certain extent & tasty, the menu is on the expensive side for the serving size. Service was positive since we were the only customers, though slow due to the order execution process. Alas, the location is not quite marketable even though there's high traffic from Ralph's. It's the same owner, rebranding the Boba Bunny to Phin Coffee a couple of months ago after 2 years as a boba shop, which makes sense since there was a special run 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a 20% discount on coffee & matcha before the transition.
