The lettuce was super fresh and crunchy, the dressing was just right, and adding the crispy chicken in mild was the perfect choice. It had just enough heat to make the salad even better without being overpowering. You can never go wrong with the hot chicken tenders. They're a classic for a reason...crispy, juicy, and consistently delicious every time. And let's talk about the bacon mac and cheese. It's easily the best in San Antonio and a must-order every single visit. So creamy, cheesy, and loaded with bacon. We also tried the jalapeño smash burger, and wow. It was juicy, flavorful, served hot, and had the perfect amount of kick. If you're looking for a great weekend lunch, Pete's Hot Chicken is always a solid choice. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. We'll definitely be back.

It's often difficult for me to find a near consistent Vietnamese food place around my area but when my friend introduced me to this lovely place I was thrilled. Now it is my favorite food stop I enjoy going to whenever I get the opportunity. Usually I come to Boba Pho U for the Bánh mì which they never disappoint when it comes to deliciousness. They are always considerate when I ask for my veggies on the side and for my food to be sliced in half. The service is very efficient and always makes sure to get exactly what I want. This time I decided to try something different than I usually do since they were out of Bánh mì which is rare but I didn't mind at all and decided to try the Pork Rice Place. As to be expected the food was top notch and tasted amazing and was perfect with the Nước mấm sauce that was provided! The veggies were also very fresh and tasted perfect. The only time I've had an issue was when I ordered my Bánh mì, I asked for my veggies on the side and did not receive my pickled carrots. This was a one time thing and i'm sure they forgot but it was something I just wanted to add! That one time mistake doesn't change the way I feel about this place it's still amazing. I highly recommend you come here to try out this underrated food truck at least once! You wouldn't want to miss out on their delicious menu and variety of boba drinks!

I had not seen them since last year. Tonight I got the Mac and cheese. So wonderfully rich and decadent. Definitely not your box of Kraft. Made with 7 different cheeses and topped with Cheeze-Its for crunch. So much complexity and so smooth and comforting. This will change your perception of mac and cheese forever. I also tried the fried chicken balls. Roasted chicken and risotto with spices that give a little bite, rolled into a ball then deep fried in a funnel cake batter. A nice sweet dipping sauce is provided that just makes it complete. Update: I tried the chicken livers and oysters, bahn mi style OMG!!! So very good. The livers and oysters fried to perfection in a light crispy batter. Then everything topped with fresh bahn mi style vegetables. The chicken livers were the best I have ever had. Crunchy on the outside and so smooth on the inside. I could eat these livers by the bucket. Head to Tapa Tapa and see what they have created today. I think you'll be happy you did.

The sliders typically are served w/ hot sauce, but my puny New York self still can't handle any "hotness" so it was left off with no problem. Don't judge. My friend also tried it and loved it. I'm so glad to have a place like this in San Antonio. I'll be back soon..

When they arrived I dug in. I'm not sure why but they just didn't have the flavor I associate with chilaquiles. I certainly ate it but with a bit of disappointment. My friend got a lighter side luncheon plate which she enjoyed. The environs of the venue are charming and attractive. Bright colors, interesting art work and decor. There is a full bar and several separate eating areas. Service was good and quick and staff was friendly. We were absolutely freezing in the air conditioning and grabbed some jackets from the car. The frigid temps and the adequate but not amazing chilaquiles were the only negatives, and price point was a very inexpensive $25 plus gratuity for both of us.

We walked in later than we usually eat dinner (around. 9:45 PM. Even though they about an hour to close, there was still a relatively large crowd there. We sat at a table in the bar area. Our server was Justin. He was incredible. He gave great recommendations and was prompt, courteous, and had a great personality. We ordered a frozen Paloma and I was told that it was incredibly good The queso was solid. We all tasted each other dishes and I didn't hear one complaint about anyone's food. The Dad's plate with the beef fajita was so good. The beef fajita was some of the best fajita meat I have had. The poblano enchiladas were beyond compare. I make a creamy poblano sauce, but this may have been better. The Burris quesadillas were tender and full of flavor. The Al pastor street tacos were excellent as well. These days, no place you go out is really "cheap." So, if you are paying for dinner out, you really want it to be better than what you would make at home. This place fit the bill with generous portions and high quality food. When we are in town, this will definitely be our go-to spot for TexMex.
