Came by after the concert and def made the right decision. Ordered tacos, ramen and quesobirria for $45. Everything was pretty good but the ramen was rather salty so beware if you order that. Need to add a little water to it, but regardless the flavor is there and hitting. Order took about 15min and they even brought it to the car for us. read more

Upon arrival, there was a terrible smell, kind of like dead animal. Bad impression. There was a taxidermy next door, so could've been that. Besides that horrendous smell. First off, great little spot. I was hesitant to stop by a little stand with only outside seating in this extreme heat. One thing that was interesting was the horrible scent outside. Seems they were cleaning the dumpsters though...should have waited until late night to air it out though. The guy taking the orders was calm and patient as we decided what to order. This was another yelp find. Wife and I were on the way to the playoff game for high school at the AlamoDome in San Antonio and we needed to find a place to eat before the game so of course we went to yelp. We decided on tacos and we were not disappointed. This is about five-ish minutes away from the Alamodome. It's a little food truck with some seating and some great food and fast service. Off to the side the menus are upfront so you place your order you pay and within about five minutes or less we had our food. we both got Birria tacos, I got the one with Chicas. They came with lots of meat on them and lots of flavor. The sauce was spicy and really complemented the tacos. If you're in San Antonio near the Alamo Dome, I would highly recommend it. If you're in San Antonio, and not near the Alamodome, look it up and make the drive, it'll be worth it. read more

Hole in the wall location that will blow your socks off. Came here after every other location known to man in SA was closed or too busy to wait in line for. Glad that nothing else worked out because the second the food was put in front of me it was devoured. The Birria was tastyyyy. And it's not just because I was hungry. This location has beautiful murals painted on the walls and I can say I WILL be back. Came here after the Def Leopard concert to try out some of the tacos from San Antonio. My girlfriend and I were excited to eat finally but when we got the food it was inedible. There were tiny chunks of chicharron that were rock hard. My girlfriend chipped a tooth when she took her first bite. I found it after picking up a shift on the opposite side of town one night, and I would totally drive across San Antonio through construction and all to eat here again! This place is the spot! They're always delicious and consistent in flavor. The portion is huge and two people can easily eat off of one order of queso birria tacos. The staff is friendly and are as efficient as possible. Be prepared to wait if you go later in the evening because that is when business picks up. First off, I commented on their Facebook page, and they decided to block my comment. The Birria tacos were bland and didn't have consome on the tacos like a birria taco should have. The tacos were not crunchy, either. The consome was descent. However, I am very disappointed with the reviews. People are hyping this place up to have some of the best birria, but it's not all that. If you decide to eat there, it has only outside sitting, so with the Texas heat, it's not a very comfortable place to eat. I am very disappointed that they removed my comment on Facebook it was just my opinion, and it wasn't harsh at all. I just rated them a 5 out of 19.
