Drove 30 minutes to get tacos when they were closing at 2 am we arrive at 1:10 AM the lady that was there made it very difficult for us to order which was a disappointing waste of our time. She said she would close in 10 minutes and we couldn't find the place, mind you it was before 1:20 AM. I had to call and after it ringing many times, the lady answered us and gave us the building number. We rushed there and she was like it's cash only so we were like can we order and run to chase around the corner she said "chase is closed" and it really didn't seem like she wanted to even sell to us. We were searching for two usual taco trucks and they werent there and this one was there as we drove by, super exciting and happy for our taco craving. The lady that took our order was very friendly. Place is legit, real people same day every day. They deliver too, but I don't mind driving out to grab a dozen tacos. These taste good the next day as well for leftovers, most tacos don't taste right the next day. I heat them up in my mini oven, get the sour cream and cheese, so good. Spicy pork and Mexican sausage is my fav. If you don't wanna wait, call ahead, they are busy since they right next to a college. Such a great neighborhood staple. The 6 tacos for $10 special is amazing, I love the chorizo but have gotten a mix of chorizo, steak, and chicken and loved it all as well. The green salsa is delicious and a taco dipped in that and then a little of the red is the PERFECT addition of flavor and spice. I've also had a chicken torta from them and it was delicious and filling. Granted, servings aren't huge so the $10 taco special won't fill two people but it's still worth it. Definitely grab some right off the train and you'll be satisfied in all ways. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu! (Specifically, the al pastor tacos!) read more

Delish tacos and beef tongue (lengua) sandwich (camitas). Great service with a smile, and fast too. $10 "especial" gets you 6 tacos (you can mix & match meats) and a soda (they only have Coca-Cola). My length sandwich was $8, filled with melted cheese, avocado, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. They also have TexMex sodas (Squirt, Jarrito, etc) available. Will return! read more

Average tacos in an area in need of a good taco place. Unfortunately their order taking for delivery is terrible. Placed an order for six tacos by phone, waited an hr, called back and was told it would be another 5 minutes. Waited another hr until it was actually delivered. My place is only a ten minute walk from their truck. It seemed like the tacos were sitting in the truck for more than an hr because by the time it arrived the tacos were soggy. If you order in person expect to wait half an hr standing around waiting for your food. They serve tacos late into the night which is why they get business but not worth the wait. read more

Came here on a Friday night and ordered 2 taco specials (6 carne azada, 3 chorizo, and 3 al pastor)+ 2 cans of soda for $20 and a chicken cemita. Their food here is all really flavorful! Nothing was absent of spice, perhaps too much. My carne asadas were a bit on the salty side, and my pastors were a tad bit sweeter than I like. Chorizo is always full of flavor, and the $7 chicken cemita was packed with flavor and creamy-ness (cheese, sauce, avocados). They don't really throw in too much stuff, since it's a food truck, typical salsa Rojas, Verde, sour cream, radish, cucumber, and picked pepper. No creamy guacamole though. If I can give them no stars I would. One of the worst food trucks I have ever dealt with. I sent my order in at 9:30pm and it's currently 11:09pm and I'm still empty handed. The guy who takes the orders lied to me three times about the status of my food and then chose to ignore my calls when I tried to inquire for about the third time on where my food is. Customer service was very poor and I rather order from somewhere else than deal with this. I wouldn't have mind ordering in person IF THE TRUCK ACTUALLY CAME OUT ON THE TIMES DISPLAYED ON THEIR CARD so I was forced to wait to place a delivery. Never again. read more

Exactly what I expect from a Mexican food truck..... fast, fresh, and flavorful! We did not get to take pics of our food because it was devoured almost immediately after we started eating! We got pollo encebollado which was amazingly fresh and packed with taste! It was such a huge portion we could have split it! We also got 3 small chicken tacos for $5 which served as a great app! Had we gotten large tacos we wouldn't have been able to eat our main dishes. Now these were styrofoam containered food from a food truck, but even still it was garnished beautifully with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and roasted peppers. We got extra sauces in small containers with is delicious concoction of avocado, lime juice, jalapeno, and cilantro that enhanced the flavor of all of the food. I highly recommend this food truck especially on a late night hunt for food! It will not disappoint. Ever since we lost the tiny taco cart on Cortelyou and 16 there has been no good place for tacos in the area. Well, Glad to say this is a great option for those of us in the immediate vicinity. There are two Mexican places within two blocks of this truck...one old school establishment that has been there for many, many years and is pretty terrible and one newer take out spot that is about as authentic as chipotle. There are a couple Mexican spots on Flatbush and one also old-school on Cortelyou that are pretty terrible too. Steer clear of all of them and hit up El Paisano. Fresh ingredients, authentic favors and great prices. Especially late night. And the guys cooking and taking orders couldn't be nicer. Thumbs up all the way. read more

Mysterious taco truck - I still can't understand their schedule but every time I can catch the truck- tacos are really good

This is a no frill, authentic Mexican experience. Can't beat their 6 taco special for $10. I usually get delivery to my apartment and they show up within the hour. Completely screwed up my order. I ordered two Lengua (beef tongue) burritos only to get home and find that they were filled with a mixed up mess like a fried rice combo.
