New management same best tacos!! Number on yelp is incorrect, (347) 785-5844 I always call ahead now for pickup

Update: *new owner still best hands down. Phone number is incorrect on yelp, new number (347) 785-5844 Taco truck, I fell in love the first bite I had you.... Place is legit, real people same day every day. They deliver too, but I don't mind driving out to grab a dozen tacos. These taste good the next day as well for leftovers, most tacos don't taste right the next day. I heat them up in my mini oven, get the sour cream and cheese, so good. Spicy pork and Mexican sausage is my fav. If you don't wanna wait, call ahead, they are busy since they right next to a college. I don't understand people who give bad ratings for having to wait, if it's good food you always gonna have to wait, this is NY people. Sorry, no pics...

Delish tacos and beef tongue (lengua) sandwich (camitas). Great service with a smile, and fast too. $10 "especial" gets you 6 tacos (you can mix & match meats) and a soda (they only have Coca-Cola). My length sandwich was $8, filled with melted cheese, avocado, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. They also have TexMex sodas (Squirt, Jarrito, etc) available. Will return!

THERE WAS A STAPLE IN MY TACO. :\

There was a staple in my taco that I purchased. The wait was very long and there seemed to be preferential treatment of customers where some would just walk up and get food instantly. Disappointed.

Great chicken tacos and great price. You get six tacos and a soda for $10. Open till 2a, and they deliver, which is a bonus. #Value

What the hell did you put in my burrito?

I make my brother drive 20 minutes from our house to get the chicken tacos every weekend. Simple, but made with love and so good. (:

With the exception of 2 long strands of hair in my taco, the food was pretty good! Hopefully that's a rare occurrence.

The 6 tacos for $10 special is amazing, I love the chorizo but have gotten a mix of chorizo, steak, and chicken and loved it all as well.

I have a suspicion that lamenting the Mexican food scene in NY is a tired talking point and those who are more in the know know where to get fire Mexican food so it's embarrassing for me to harp on this. So it was with great anticipation that I walked over to Taqueria Maria and Ricardo for what I kept reading was really good eats. While the food wasn't disappointing it wasn't good enough for me to want to return to either. I tried a grilled shrimp rice plate with rice and beans as well as a chicken burrito. I just think everything is lacking salt and oomph, but it was perfectly serviceable. It's a small spot where you pay at the counter and someone will bring your food to you if you set up at one of their few tables. But I think it's mostly a takeout & delivery operation. At least their portions are decently sized.

Muy caliente! The lady who attended me was so nice and sweet that she got our order out pretty fast. Now as for the birria tacos, they consisted of braised meat, some onions, cilantro, side of radish and a cup of beef consume which was delicious. Had tons of flavors from all the spices and seasoning they added to the meat and broth. The meat was juicy, soft to the bite and easy to chew through. Add some green salsa to the taco and boom, extra kick to the meal. 8/10 The mango margarita was definitely sweet and glad I got it frozen since the day just happened to be beautiful. After 2 month of a snowstorm and cold days, i deserved a nice cold one on this beach-ish day. Lovely place, they did add more room to accommodate for more people. I also decided to order chicken empanadas with chipotle sauce. Their menu enchiladas were delicious and plentiful: 3 enchiladas in a tangy green sauce. Their menu chicken empanadas were also tasty but a bit hard with a nice chipotle side sauce. Their extensive menu has a lot to offer: birria tacos, burritos, flautas, salads, quesadillas, tostadas and more. Shout out to the really nice girl sitting at the front that gave me and my mom such a warm and lovely greeting on our way out. Now to the food. We had the All-American brunch which consisted of two eggs your way, bacon, fries and toast, and I opted for the fried pork chops, trying to feast on what the place is famous for. It came with yellow rice, one or two maduras and a really flavorfully dressed salad. To be honest, my favorite parts of that dish were the rice and salad which I ended up mixing together and eating that mostly. The fried pork chops were a bit on the tough side and a tad salty. Otherwise it was an enjoyable dish. My mom enjoyed her eggs and bacon and said they did that very well.
