Service was very kind and attentive. Food was delicious and filling! The ambiance is very nice for lunch or dinner stops! The parking lot is just small. I got the pork belly taco, birria taco, and large pineapple agua fresca. The agua fresca was so fresh and I loved it! The tacos were really filling and I loved that they came with complimentary sides! I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

What I had: Street taco (pollo) 3/5 Good flavor but the chicken was tough and dry. There was a really good amount of chicken in that taco though. Fish taco 5/5 great flavor. My waiter warned me that the chipotle sauce was spicy. I didn't think it was spicy at all, so I added the habanero salsa to it and now I'm suffering (in the way I wanted to lol). The only downside I found was the logistics behind eating this thing. It's super tall, the fish is one big piece. So anyway I tried to eat it, it started falling apart and I just felt like I was getting chipotle sauce all over my face. If I was in a date, I wouldn't get this. Horchata 4/5: you can tell it's fresh! Not the type that's a mix. I just didn't like the chunks of cinnamon stick that I would get occasionally. They were out of flan so I didn't get to try that (big sad face). The staff was super friendly and the place is such a cute atmosphere. I would recommend.

We've been here twice so far. In our first visit, we tried the tacos. The birria taco was really good. It was stewed 'birria' meat wrapped around a crunchy shell. During our visit, we saw another table eating something that looked like a quesadilla, but much bigger - like the size of a bicycle wheel. It turned out to be the 'Pizza Birria'. We had to try that. And so we did - during our second trip, we had the Pizza Birria, along with something else that looked interesting - the Birria Ramen. The Pizza Birria was cheesy and delicious. It was also huge, easily feeding a party of 4. We hardly had any room left for the ramen. The ramen was good as well - it was a large bowl of noodles soaked with birria stew. Between the two, we liked the Pizza better. Value was great - less than $25 for this huge pizza. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was really cozy. We'll certainly like to try the various other dozen or so Birria dishes in the future.

Great service! Very friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and comes out pretty quickly. We had the cucumber lemonade and the hibiscus lemonade. Both were so fresh and good and all their stuff is made fresh in house, never frozen. The queso is decent. A little pico de gallo would really set it off. I had a birria, chicken, and asada tacos. Very well seasoned meat. The birria taco meat is the best I've ever had. I don't even usually like birria meat. We also had nachos. They were huge. Enough for 2-3 people. Also very good. I'll definitely be back.

Went for dinner on a Thursday and absolutely fell in love. I got the taco patron, the norteno taco, and the vampiro taco (which is a tostada) and my friend got the birria taco, the taco patron and the al pastor taco. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were extremely generous. The taco patron is STUFFED with shrimp and the melted cheese inside the corn tortilla is perfectly melted and crispy on the outer edges of the tortilla. The shrimp was well seasoned and juicy. (8/10) The norteno taco was also delicious with the same crispy cheese but all over the tortilla this time. It was huge and the beef was tender and well marinated. I also enjoyed the cabbage and onions for a touch of freshness (8.5/10) The vampiro taco was my personal favorite with the juiciest meat and a big dollop of guac on top. The tostada was perfectly crunchy and a great item to try if you are craving something different than the traditional taco. (9/10) The tacos came with pico de gallo, guac, radish, grilled cactus, and charro beans without and additional charge. The prices are very reasonable and the service was quick and friendly. I would definitely come back!

It was my first time trying this restaurant after a long walk at the park, we wanted to try something new and we were interesting in this place because some of the tacos looked very interesting. The service was super friendly and wonderful. The drinks were good as well we got some specialty margaritas and specialty tacos were to die for, the pork belly one really sparked my interest.

You know..I wonder why businesses do this? At first the flavor is wonderful, then when they start to cut corner. I'm throwing this away.

At first it was good. Now it's horrible. They have succeeded, now they cut corners. It's very lousy. Stay away from this place. Tacos Al pastor were HORRIBLE. Threw it all away after one bite.

This was a colorful restaurant featuring many pictures of Frida Kahlo inside. We were the only customers there when we arrived on a Wednesday evening, but by the time we left, the restaurant was pretty full. We got started off with some complimentary chips and salsa before ordering. We ordered: - Tacos: Birria (extra $1 for cheese), pescado, asada, pastor, lengua - Aguas frescas: Pineapple, horchata You get a free side of beans, radishes, grilled onions, or cactus if you order 2 tacos. For the regular tacos, I thought they were just ok. But I loved the quesabirria tacos! These were probably my favorite that I've tried in Houston so far. The tacos were super crispy, and remained crispy throughout the entire meal. The meat was so juicy and tender, and they were very generous with the portions. They also brought out 4 different sauces ranging from very mild to spicy habanero. I neeeed my tacos to be spicy, so I was very happy that the habanero sauce was actually spicy! For the aguas frescas, I really enjoyed the pineapple one. The horchata was ok, I thought it was bland. Will definitely be back here again for more birria tacos and to try more drinks!

Always great food and ambience. All the Tacos Especiales are great and big portion! My fave is pork belly taco and norteño.

When I saw Frida all over the walls, I knew it would be a beautiful meal- Frida never lies! To date I've tried the guava infusion margarita, tamarind margarita, watermelon margarita, birria, quesobirria, birria quesadilla, taco el patron, fish taco, and all of their sides except the beans. Don't judge me! Here's what I've learned: *birria over quesobirria *this is not fast casual, come ready to sit down and relax *not all margs are made equal. Boogie, sweet, whatever your preference, ask before you order! They have so many options. If you're a fan of birria you HAVE to add this spot to your list!

I placed my order online for pickup on my way home. This is my second time eating their food and I am a huge fan. First off, their portion sizes are huge. I ordered and my food was ready in 35 minutes. I walked in and they had my food all packed and ready to go. They are always so nice. Everything we ordered was very good. I have found my new place for Mexican food going forward. The Birria taco was one of the best things I have ever eaten. It was full of meat, seasoned and had onions and peppers throughout. I dipped it in the sauce and was in heaven. I will definitely get this again. We also ordered steak and pork Al pastor tacos and the tacos patron with shrimp with beans and rice. Their green salsa is my favorite, spicy and flavorful.

    Churros with sauces and ice-cream.

We did not agree on el Patron, I liked it more than he did, but that's life. Their guacamole was exceptional and I could absolutely eat that by the bucketful, kid you not. Overall, he found things just a bit too spicy for his palate although he did love drinking from the large jar servings of Horchata. The chili Relleno and shrimp enchilada was OK, not my favorite. For dessert we tried the coffee flan which has a cake-like bottom, and the churros plate with ice-cream and dipping sauces. Our waitress was attentive. As a fan of artist Frida Kahlo, the artwork on the walls was a nice surprise. This isn't my new Mexican restaurant, still on the hunt for that, but I enjoyed having their sizable menu options from which to choose.

Birria tacos that are worth the money! Complimentary chips and salsa were perfect although I could have used more salsa. I got their popular birria taco, fish taco (pescado), and taco al pastor. If you order 2 tacos, you get complimentary sides of radish, grilled onion, beans, and cactus. The birria was definitely standout in terms of flavor and portion. Although I have had better in Houston, this was still good, especially for the area. (4/5) The fish taco has a decent size piece of good quality fish sitting in a bed of cabbage. The sauce was less traditional/more Americanized. (3.5/5) The al pastor had plentiful amount of pork but the meat to tortilla ratio was too high- I think making the tacos smaller (& charging accordingly) may make it more cohesive. (3.5/5) I tried the hibiscus and strawberry limeade Agua frescas which were delicious and generously portioned. (4/5) This is a dine in and someone will come to your table to take your order / serve you type of place. Service can be a bit slow but staff are friendly. They come out with a card reader for the bill at the end where you tip in front of the server which is a little awkward. I have been to taco places where you order at the front & they deliver your tacos to you which I think would be more efficient!

5$ a taco? Are they worth it? I went to Juan in a million in Austin , their fattest taco wasn't worth 9$

I think it is worth it. They give you a good amount of meat, and the food is very flavorful. You get chips and different salsas as well. The service is great- very attentive, engaged staff. This restaurant is getting five stars because it is that…

    Do you serve breakfast?

Hi!!! No, we don’t. BUT if you really want it, we can make some breakfast tacos for you, we open 10-10 every day

The guy asks you how many you are going to want, and if you want flour or corn, so he can let them know in the back to make your tortillas fresh. About 2 minutes later, out came our tortillas.
