Huevo Potatoes a La Mexicana with Scrambled Egg breakfast taco
    Ivette V.

The breakfast tacos are delicious!!! I recommend, I would get these breakfast tacos every morning before work

Tripa tacos. Literally 2 pieces of tripa and more cheese then meat.

Decided to give this place a try and was shocked to see how small The tacos were for the price. I paid 18.27 for 4 tacos. One being a tripa taco which I know are more but to receive the taco and it have two literally 2 tripas in it k felt ripped off. I wouldn't recommend due to the price And the size of the tacos they are very small. The taste was good no complaints just definitely not worth that price For what we got.

Authentic Mexican Food, Family owned, clean, no frills in decor, personable service, made to order. Wonderful delicious food! Homemade corn and flower tortillas! This place is unassuming, but top notch Mexican food. Highly recommend.

Tried some of their tacos and they were pretty good. Homemade tortillas were good too. I also liked their green sauce. There was a bit of a wait at the drive thru but the customer service was very nice.

Stopped in for some breakfast tacos on Sunday morning. Upon entering, the place is small and quaint in a hole in the wall kind of way. There is a menu along with pictures of the food on the back wall. I ordered four breakfast tacos to go. After placing the order, it took somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes to get the food. The amount it took was a little bit frustrating because there was only one family of three in front of me. Once I got the tacos, I was happy with the quality. The flour tortillas seemed like they were homemade. The tacos had a nice seasoning to them. The only downside was the price. I felt like they were a little bit pricey for what you got. Overall, the place was good and I would go back.

Thought I was going to get diced chicken instead I got shredded orange chicken with no taco flavoring what's so ever taste like they grilled the chicken put some kind of sauce on it and threw it in a corn shell taste more like a Jamacian beef pattie then a taco but the SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC

Cypress' best kept secret...Taqueria Mi Tierra! We have been coming here for years. They have the BEST burritos and GREAT breakfast tacos! Also homemade tortillas!!!! Always get a side of those too--you won't regret it! They're family owned and operated and truly caring people! Highly recommend

Prices are out of control. They charge you extra for using a debit card. 3 tacos, 2 tortas, and a Chile con queso cost me $33.64. I could have gone to a better tasting place than this. Amazing how you try to help a small restaurant and get overcharged.

Went there for lunch to try something new, sadly I was disappointed. I paid 8.11$ for this. It was good but more lettuce than meat. Bread was housemade. Sandwich was was 1/2 thick. Was still hungry after I ate it.

This place got my attention because of the drive thru. I wanted breakfast and saw it across from the coffee spot I'd just left. It wasn't busy and the service was rather fast. The tacos are fresh and tasty .I'll definitely be back

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

I would definitely recommend making a reservation, as it can get pretty busy, especially during Saturday lunch. There is also plenty of parking available across the street. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and felt so authentic to Mexican culture. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. The experience started poorly with the valet attendants, whom we found to be rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. It was such an unpleasant first impression that my wife and I mentioned it to the hostess when we went inside. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The hostess seemed completely unconcerned about our experience and simply informed us that the wait for a table was approximately two hours. While deciding whether our party should wait or go elsewhere, I went to the bar to order a drink. After ordering, the bartender told me that if I was only having a drink, I needed to move. Apparently, sitting at the bar required ordering a meal. At that point, we had experienced enough. Between the unpleasant valet experience, the indifferent response at the hostess stand, the two-hour wait, and then being told I couldn't sit at the bar simply to have a drink while we decided what to do, the overall message was clear: we did not feel welcome here. My wife, the rest of our party, and I decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. A busy restaurant is understandable. A long wait is understandable. What is much harder to understand is making prospective customers feel unwelcome at nearly every point of contact. Needless to say, this was an exceptionally disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.
