Best burrito I've ever had! This place is amazing! The burrito was huge. It was a very large portion. It was full of chicken, rice, beans, and cheese. It was very flavorful. The burrito came with a side salad too. The salad was full of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. It was very fresh and it was a small side salad portion. This place should be ashamed of themselves. If you are low on inventory then tell your customers that you are out of items. I ordered enchiladas rojo that were in red WATER (not sauce), I had to scoop them with a chip to eat them. $10 Pico de Gallo that was literally chopped onions and cilantro. It was clearly garnish. Nachos that had NO CHEESE!? Fajitas with TWO tortillas on the side. I feel completely taken advantage of. I was charged $65 for this meal. I left a $10 tip. Crooks. read more

We've been going there for over 20 years but no more. We usually order & pick up the food & each & every time for the past year they have not provided us with the chopped onion, cilantro, etc. which makes dinner not as tasty & I have to chop onion at home. Also, I asked for green salsa which they gave to me in a coffee cup & when my husband picked up the order he asked for red salsa & right in front of him the lady that handed him the order dumped half of the green salsa into the salsa container! (also, you know a food spot is legitness when you have people of that culture/food come with their whole families and friends) my friends and i ate outside. they have a tent set up for outdoor dining with heaters too. food: (i got 3 tacos) al pastor - good but i wish it had a lil more pineapple flavor/chunks lengua - solid. yum arabe - surprisingly really good. never tried this before so didn't know what to expect but they give a lot of meat and the flavor is great. Horchata is great too. My friends got the carnitas and they loved it also the spicy hot sauce is actually spicy (unlike many other places) so don't go too crazy with it. price is standard. service was good. Got some takeout tacos for a late night snack -- chorizo and al pastor. They were quite tasty, and I plan to go back! Their red salsa is great, the green salsa is bland, and the al pastor was better than the chorizo, but both were good. They have pretty reasonable prices too, and I might also look into their margaritas and cocktail menu in the future. I have no knowledge of their delivery. read more

Went here to check out their tacos--ordered the arabe, barbacoa and chorizo tacos. The tacos were decent and had good flavor--not the best I've had, but decent and good size portion for the price. I was there on a Sunday during a bit of a lunch rush, so it took about 20 mins for them to come out, but it was worth the wait. It's a bit of a hole in the wall place, mostly takeout but there are a few tables inside to sit down (though that's even fewer now, thanks to Covid). Although the people were very nice, I wasn't overly impressed with the food. I got the chicken enchilada with salsa verde, which honestly, wasn't that great. The salsa verde had almost no flavor whatsoever. I was pretty disappointed based on the excellent reviews by others. I guess some of the other menu options are better, but I wouldn't recommend the enchilada, or the chicken for that matter. My husband got the chicken tacos and wasn't overwhelmingly impressed either. Hole in the wall restaurant but they serve the best authentic chicano/mexican dishes in Yonkers. It's always consistent and customer service is out of this world. It gets busy so make sure you call in an order for pick up! Not too many tables inside and parking is scarce on the weekends. People line up out the door saturday mornings. Yonkers Gem tucked next to KFC and I'm glad I passed on the kernel. Authentic and no frills and by the popularity (not too crowded but steady) on a late Friday afternoon. 8 out of 10 times it's like damn why not let the food cook a little more or why not hand the customer fresh food. It could be great food when it is it is but when it's bad it's such a waste of money. I usually go for the steak dorados but if they're not made fresh they're just plain gross. The guacamole is actually good it's cheaper than many other Mexican spots but it's still a small portion. Worst fucking delivery in life!!!!! when ordering the place was so loud the person taking my order kept having to say she doesn't hear me and GIVING ME THE ATTITUDE as if it was my fault. she took over 5 mins to give me a total and it took over an hour to deliver and I only live 5 mins away. at this point I had to call twice to ask where on earth my order was which once again i was given an attitude for their mistake. Finally the delivery driver was buzzed in but would not come into the building i shouted down if he was coming up(because i have a baby so it was difficult to come down) he said he wasn't going to come up and then started walking towards his car. This was my boiling point so i told him to stop being fucking stupid and to fucking wait the same way i had to !!!!!!
