First of all there were cockroaches in the unusually tiny dining area (2 to be exact) this forced me to lose my appetite and throw away 3 out of the 4 mediocre asada tacos I originally ordered. They also have a .50 cent charge for all credit card purchases regardless of how much you spend! Another restaurant that does not accept American Express, which is usually enough of a reason for me to boycott. A total of 4 parking spaces, with one being handicapped and the other for clean air vehicles only, so make that 2 parking spaces. Waste of time and money! read more

I eat here all the time and I've never had any problems. HOWEVER, tonight I was treated very poor and I was disrespected by MARCOS. at least that's what he said his name was. He gave me 4 sauces for 4 tacos however I wanted 4 green instead of 2 red and 2 green. I asked to switch them and he took my sauce and threw it and did not give me the green sauce. Noticed a new restaurant. In town and I decided to go give it a try. The location is good. The environment is very awkward. The people. That work there are very un experienced They have a 50 cent charge to use your credit card. It feels very hot inside the restaurant. The meat isn't cooked very well the tortillas are very soggy the dinning area doesn't have much room we ended up having to sit next to the restrooms . Finally when I got my tacos I started to eat the first taco and notices. Cockroaches so I immediately left throwing away 3 tacos. I defenetly would not recommend this to anyone. I really wanted to like this restaurant. I am dying for another Los tacos de huichos style joint (great tacos, quality ingredients and amazing salsas.) unfortunately it was not the case here. Tacos el toro is a disaster. The meat is poor quality the produce is blah and the restaurant it's is brand spanking new and filthy! How does that happen? Figured since it was closer than Los Tacos, we'd give it a try. They didn't give much thought to the parking lot layout, as once drive-thru is packed, parked cars are boxed in. I come here pretty often, the workers that run drive and the register inside seem to know my order. A couple even recognize my voice in drive for how often I come, and they tell me I'm the only one that orders my food like that. They're super clean which I appreciate. The workers are pretty nice, I've had them mess up a few times which isn't that serious. Sometimes the drive they take a min to get your food but I think it's worth it, I've only had my food come out super greasy once in a awhile but not bad to a point where I'll return it. read more

The food is good, but the wait is ridiculous. It took 30 minutes+ in the drive through the first time, only 2 Cars in front of me, but I thought I'd give it another try. Sat in the drive through for 15 with again only 2 Cars in front of me when the guy in front me tells Me He was there 10min before me. I backed out of the drive through and left, as did he. Always have loved this place even when it was the old name and building. They have managed to keep their quality of taste in all the food they serve. Some times when it's busy you may have to wait so suggest calling in an order 10-15 mins before pick up. If you like authentic Mexican tacos with spice this is the place to eat. In all honesty, this is currently my favorite place to get tacos. We go here about once a week and it is not close to my house! I order carne asada tacos with everything and some lemons on the side. Theyre amazing and I love them. I also order the tiny bean and cheese burritos which are so simple yet perfect. My only complaint is that they charge for refills which seems so cheap - its annoying when restaurants do that but I think it keeps people out who tend to stay all day and sip on soda? Seriously I was waaayy too hyped up to try this place. The construction took ages and when it finally opened I was totally disappointed! The drive thru menu tells you that the pictures you see are NOT what you should expect when you get the food which made me skeptical BUT a lot of fast food restaurants do that so I ordered 3 Carne asada tacos with everything and a sprite. The wait was entirely too long for the small drive thru to have people waiting. Had there been a line, that Larson street traffic would be a mess. I had enough time of a wait to look to see if they charge a fee to use my card on the menu board- it did not say. When I finally got to the window there is a hand made sign that reads, "$.50 charge" ugh that irks me so much. The kicker was when I finally got my tacos and the attendant sent me on my way without giving me my soda. when I got to my destination I was eager to try these tacos that I waited so long for that I was even more disappointed the tortillas were bland like they hadn't been heated up long enough and the meat looked weird and cheap almost like the dog food style meat that LA Villa serves. The salsa was interesting almost had like a Chipotle tangy flavor which I actually liked! It was spicy and flavorful which helped. I was not given or offered any lemon or radish or even salt and paid about $7.00 for 3 tacos and a med sprite. I am a person who gives a place at least 3 times before I decide to stop, well tonight makes 3, and I will no longer go there. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla and my daughter had the small nachos. the meat was nasty and so greasy it was dripping I did not eat it , the rice had no flavor the beans were okay. everything on my daughters nachos was from a can, cheese guacamole cream stuff, well you get me , so that's it never again. I am no longer giving 3 chances with places like this, maybe 2 but defiantly not 3, sad but true, too bad cause I used to like the menudo, but something has changed I think they either sold out or got new cooks, either way something important is gone in my opinion. Ordered the wet burrito with asada. Worst mistake ever. Burrito hardly has any meat in it but the biggest offense was the rice. It was hard as a rock as if they decided to get rid of all their stale hard rice from the day in my order. Was 2 hours before closing so I wouldn't be surprised. Only a star for the cool employee at the drive thru. But the food horrible everything we had was awfull. If u actually want real good tacos go to los cuñados taco truck on chester and Ming in the pearseys rentals parking lot they have the best tacos,burritos and tortas in town hands down.
