Pleasantly surprised. I thought I saw "Hamburger, Fries, Soda for $5.40". They got me. It said JUNIOR hamburger. LOL After some questions about their "Mexican Hamburger" (Essentially fancy for Torta on Hamburger bun), I am not a big eater so I decided to try the the Junior Mexican Hamburger special. I got the Al Pastor. Surprisingly they put a pretty good amount of meat. It's more than you would get on a taco. Whatever salsa or condiment they put, the spice was good. Flavor of the Al pastor was real good. Thanks to the fat fries and a good serving of it, I was full on just the Jr Mex burger and fries. If you're just going to eat the burger than consider the Jr Mex burger the equivalent in amount to 1.5 Original Tacos. Hopefully I'm in the area again to try something else. Tacos El Unico has been in the neighborhood a long time. Their Bell Special is what I come for. It's their "Mexican Cheeseburger" with your choice of meat. I always get it with carne Asama with everything on it. They give you a generous portion of fries and a drink for just a bother $5.00. Not bad. The inside is clean, service is friendly and fast. Taste is consistent. It's a nice break away from Taco Bell and fast food. First time today. Business was nice and clean,you can tell they've invested some money into the place. Food: had some tacos tried one of every kind they had. It's just about average...nothing that sets them apart. Salsa was good,however the quality of the meat was poor. You can tell the meats weren't fleshly cooked and probably reheated from another day. Still not terrible. If they worked on better quality I'd give them a better review but so far just mediocre. read more

I really enjoyed my taco place ... sometimes the rice is a little off on the dry side , but I'm sure with it was still good, the on my resent visit I order the taquitos a la cart ... on a bed of shredded lettuce and dice tomatoes with sour Cream and powder cheese on top... mmm delicious nice and crunchy, and it wasn't those taquitos that are store bought, skinny and not meat ... these taquitos cooked to protection if you want the combo it comes with beans and rice .. but no drink , that's separate, I'm sure you can find other delicious items on the menu, I just haven't tried them all ... they also take phone orders and a parking spot outside just for phone orders pickups ... it only took 10 minutes for my order once I placed it and ready for pickup when o got there.... hopefully this review helps with your Mexican food cravings.. mmm Tun now I'm hungry.. By far my favorite place in the area! Their tacos are good. Their sopes out of this world. their tortas good as well. However don't go for the nachos, they have no cheese.
