Went in for my sisters birthday and had a great time! Our party was pretty big (10) and they took care of us nicely. The food was great! We started w the empanadas and could quickly see they knew ball. The green salsa they include w their dishes is AMAZING! The whole table was asking for more. Also can't forget about the great live music, the banda sounded great and listening inside wasn't overly done. I didn't leave w my ears ringing which was the best part of it all. Definitely will be coming back!

Una pésima experiencia me llevé el domingo antepasado el visitar este lugar con mi esposa todo iba bien hasta que el mesero un venezolano me llevó la cuenta , casi duplicando el precio de todo lo ordenado . Doordashed a few of their specialty tacos. I got the gobernador, shrimp & marlin tacos. The flavor is there; the crispy taco shells are a great compliment. First time trying marlin, was very well marinated and flavorful. The texture reminds me of a firm fish like tuna or mahi-mahi. I only wish they gave more radish to pair with than one slice each taco because the tacos were pretty heavy and the refreshing crisp of the radish helps balance them out considering there's no onions or cilantro in these tacos. Would eat again, check them out!

Food was pretty good. The service was good but quite slow and it wasn't even that busy when we arrived. The ambiance is pretty loud and a birthday was being celebrated that day. If you're looking for chill spot, this is not it. Overall pretty good. Went to try the Cheeto flavored dishes

It s a fun vibe for sure, but it's definitely overpriced for what it is. We stopped by with a large group to celebrate a Bday. The place had been open for maybe an hour when we arrived, and our server already had an expression which was not welcoming...or "fuchi" face, which she maintained the entire time. We ordered quite a few items from the food and drink menu, and everything had nice visual appeal, but the taste and quality was not up to par. There was live music which was fun and loud. But they charged I think $20-25 per song which they didn't inform people until after the fact. There were also extra service charges on the bill aside from the expected automatic tip for a large group, so just beware. They charge for parking, I think that was also $25. The street parking time is limited depending on the posted traffic times, so if your lucky and arrive after the correct time, you might find street parking.

Stop by for a birthday dinner and in the beginning everything was fine we got empanadas as an appetizer and those were really good but when it came to our actual plates they weren't up to quality my mom got a sushi roll and you can tell the tempura was too hard from being a hit over fried at high temperature. The issue was having to wait over an hour for our food to come out and then when it did they only brought out the cold plates, then we had to wait another 20ish minutes for the hot plates to come out and it was only when we said something that they brought them out right away. The ambiance was good though definitely a place to go to drink but not eat. Overall horrible experience and wouldn't come back. To top it off we got charged for drinks that weren't ours!! So definitely check your bill and make sure you're not being over charged or charged for something that's not yours !! Would give zero stars if possible.

I've been coming to Culichi Town for a couple of years now, and from the very first visit, I fell in love with everything -- the food, the service, and the fun atmosphere. My family and I have made it part of our routine, coming here at least twice a week because it always felt like one of our favorite places to eat together. That's why it really saddened us to see the restaurant's recent B rating from the health department. Out of curiosity and concern, we looked into the inspection results and noticed that cleanliness in the kitchen has gone down quite a bit. Still, because we're loyal customers, we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, this last visit made us understand why the score dropped. Our cups had food residue, and we noticed other signs that things aren't being cleaned as they should. It was disappointing, especially knowing how much we've loved this place over the years. I truly hope the owner and management take this seriously and bring back the same care and attention to detail that made this restaurant so special in the first place. The customers -- especially the regulars who keep coming back -- deserve a clean and welcoming place to enjoy the amazing food we've always loved.

The food was fresh, authentic, and delicious. A lively live band encouraged song requests, and many families were having fun enjoying the music, though it was a bit loud. Service was amazing, with a mobile bartender walking from table to table preparing drinks. They also have a great selection of tequilas, with plenty of unique options to try

I would second think about going to this place They turned off their comments on TikTok right now cuz they are getting lots of hate for their horrible customer service and the people they have working/running that. Restaurant are rude in lots of videos, this is no family restaurant I hate restaurants like this because now I don't care how good the food is, hospitality is what makes people want to go and eat and I wouldn't want to if that's the exception of this restaurant DO BETTER CULICHI

The shrimp empanadas are very tasty and delicious!

The atmosphere was beautiful and lively, and our service was great. We started with Mexican candy shots and tried a couple of their tequila cocktails, which were a fun way to kick off the evening. The food was definitely the highlight! They brought out their house green sauce with fresh bread, and that sauce was SO good. We also tried the Batata Harra, which had a nice kick but was packed with flavor. The *Filet Mignon Sliders with goat cheese** were easily one of my favorites. OMG! The combination was so good. We also ordered the Grilled Filet Mignon Kabob, chicken kabob plate, and steak plate with rice and a side salad. Everything we tried was flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, I had a really good experience here. Great food, good drinks, a nice atmosphere, and quality time with a friend. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu!

But quick understanding the term suffices. As I entered Mandala Cantina, I knew that I had stepped inside a vibe of Latin frenzy and buck--- it was replete with a sophisticated backyard boggie energy. Or in other words, the carne asada barbecue had adopted an elegant, glamorous and modern Talum motif that hit with bright mellow lights, beige beauty all around and a good time fueled by tequila shots and cocktails. I was sat at the bar, but I was warned that my sit would be bellow the regular bar line. So I sat alone, and I could look up at everyone else sat from by de-elevated sit. I was ok, I had arrived late, I was by myself with no reservation and on a whim, so I took my corner seat and did my best to forget that I sat below everyone's eye level. The party vibe was strong and palpable all across the bar. In fact, I have been to very few bars where the move was to sit, yet, the music and crowd almost demanded that we acted like we were on a club, but sitting down. More clearly, I wanted to move and dance but since there was no space, and we were playing Mexican bingo, we were implicitly required to sit and dance. For those who did not, the party still pulsed. There was this huge Cantaro (Mexican clay cup or vase) with six straws. So like a fishbowl drink that is commong in Tiki or Island theme bars, but in a large Mexican mug. This guy was moving it around while he was filmed in a way where he showed the drink for six like Mufasa showed Simba to the residents of Pride rock. So I am basically saying that all the people in the bar and crowd found a way to honor the old school hits of Reggaton and Banda that dominated the airwaves of the spot. I could not help but beat my head back and forth when Oye Mi Canto played and the lasers of the spot moved around wildly. In short, it was an experience that can be described as lit. The experience of game play was also electric. As soon as you entered, you were asked to pick a card from a large stack. You were also required to get some frijolitos-- small beans, that did not jump. I put all my beans into my card and removed them as my cards were called. I came close to winning, and maybe I did, but it was hard to focus amidst the noise and bop, so maybe I did win and did not register that one of my cards had been called so its frijolito remain on top of that square. Regardless, of the lack of victory I expeirenced I was still very happen I went here to celebrate Cinco De Mayo with appropriate festivities. After I soon sat, some tacos were placed in front of me. They were for my neigbor. I was honest and made them aware that they were not for me. After all a Mexico Hero-- Benito Juariez reminds us that respeto a lo ajeno es la paz. Or in other ways, respecting what is not yours equals peace.

I've tried multiple times to call and speak to a manager about what happened, but after receiving no response, here I am leaving a Yelp review. This wasn't my first time at Mandala, but it will very likely be my last. I made my reservation the same day Mexico won and reservations opened. I reserved a table for 8 people at 3:45 PM, which was the maximum party size available. I arrived around my reservation time, definitely before 4:00 PM, and security directed me to wait in the line designated for guests with reservations. By around 4:30 PM, the reservation line had barely moved, yet I watched other people walk up, give their names, and be let inside. At the same time, I could clearly see two reserved tables for eight sitting completely empty.I finally asked one of the waitresses, "I reserved for 8 people, and I see those two tables are empty. May I ask what the hold up is?" She asked for my name, looked up my reservation, confirmed it was there, and then told me, "It was canceled." I asked, "What was the reason? I've been here." She replied, "You never checked in before 4:00 PM." Which in fact I did, and security even confirmed that I had arrived before 4:00 PM. Despite that, no one was willing to honor my reservation. At that point I told her, "Only three people from my party of eight are here. Can we just get a table for the three of us?" She spoke with another waitress, and they came back saying it would be standing room only. I asked, "Why?" Again, they referred me back to my supposedly canceled reservation. By now I was beyond frustrated. While they spent another five minutes trying to "figure something out," I continued watching people walk up, give their names, and immediately be seated. Meanwhile, the two reserved tables for eight were still sitting empty. Then I was told, "The best we can do is standing room at the bar, or you can stand anywhere in the restaurant with one of the cocktail tables, but there's a $100 minimum per person." That requirement was never advertised or mentioned when I made my reservation. I reminded her, "This isn't my first time here." She simply replied, "Or you can stand at the bar. No minimum." At that point, it was so close to game time that I just wanted to get inside. We were never greeted--menus were simply placed in front of us. And throughout all of this, those two reserved tables for eight remained empty. The biggest lie I heard all afternoon was, "We're at capacity." I must have heard that at least 10 times. If Mandala was truly at capacity, how were people continuously walking in without reservations and being seated? Why were guests with confirmed reservations turned away while empty reserved tables sat untouched? Thankfully, the game was delayed until 6:00 PM, which gave us enough time to leave and take our business elsewhere. This was poor planning, poor communication, misleading reservation practices, and some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I wasted my time, my gas, and what should have been an exciting afternoon watching the Mexico game with family and friends. I expected much better from a place I'd enjoyed before. Instead, I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and completely disappointed. I rest my case.

Just a couple of weeks ago, my friends and I were considering our options for where to have brunch to celebrate one of our friend's retirement. Toast was one of the names I dropped in the metaphorical hat, and it won the vote of a few. My friends were surprised that I had named a spot I hadn't yet tried since I'm usually the "foodie" of the group. However, another girl in the group who had been here before vouched for it. I'm glad I finally got to try this place this past weekend, and I cannot wait to return! There were so many things on their menu that I wanted to try. A couple of the ladies ordered green chilaquiles, the friend we were celebrating ordered the Spanish Omelet, another woman I'd met that day had the bacon and eggs, another one ordered the Biscuits and grave with a side of bacon that looked perfectly crispy. I wish I had taken pictures of the plates as it all looked so lovely! I didn't even take a picture of my own food haha. I had my eyes on an omelet, one of the Benedicts or the Chicken n Waffle. In the end, the chicken and waffle won. It comes served with a little container of maple syrup with bacon pieces. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle was delicious, though I did request for some extra syrup on the side. To drink, a few ladies ordered mimosas, one ordered an iced caramel coffee, and I ordered the Carajillo. I fell in love with this drink last summer in Mexico and do not often see it on the menu. I love the subtle citrus notes the Licor 43 adds to this espresso drink. It is very similar to an espresso martini, and theirs comes topped with a toasted marshmallow. I honestly wanted to try almost every item in their Tipsy Barista section of their drinks. I'll just have to come back that many more times :) Plenty of parking in the mall lot. It does get pretty packed during peak hours. Fortunately I had called ahead to put our group of 6 down. We went in on Saturday around 11:30. It slowed down a bit while we were eating, but started to get busy again after 1. Otherwise, we might have been forced to honor their 90-minute rule. All in all, a great experience from everyone in our group. No complaints on the wait, service or food. That certainly deserves a toast. Great job, Toast!
