    3 Tacos De Birria
    Ricardo M.

Not sure why but I've been on a birria kick lately and have been hitting my go to's but today I came here based on others reviews. They were right. This place is small and I believe family owned who h is how the food tasted. As if it was made that very morning. We went with the typical quezabjrria tacos and birria quesadilla. If you're a fan of beef birria you will def like this place. The Curtis is good alone but much tastier with the red sauce and consomé. But warning, the red sauce has some bite! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was quick and the place was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So if you're in the mood for beef birria and hand made tortillas, def give this spot a chance.

The New Birria kid on the block delivers. With plenty of Birria spots popping up, Birrieria Guadalajara comes through. Their portions are hearty, from their thicc stuffed birria burritos to their extra large quesabirria, you'll definitely get your money's worth. Their Horchata has to be my favorite fast food joint horchata. Delicious, refreshing and a lot of it. Added to our rotation.

I got cebolla, Cilantro salsa (hot and mild) but only 2 wedges of limes

I got 3 soft tacos and they are so good! The lady at the register was pleasant and quick. The only thing was that I wish they would have given me more limes. I only got 2 wedges for 3 tacos. But other than that, everything was great! I will definitely go back

Order #1 combo plate. Can be ordered with just all meat.

'Been to Guadalajara, Mexico for tortas ahogada but this birrieria is worth trying & worth your bucks! All their fares are very tasty, authentic & offered in big servings. Fountain drinks with refills are $1.75, regular size. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant chain we went to was on Harbor Blvd. in La Habra where we enjoyed our dinner in a quiet & clean atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll go back to try other orders in the menu. Que rico! Buen provecho!

    Burrito w/Rice & Beans

This was my first time here. I sat there for about 5 minutes in the drive thru before someone greeted me. I ordered the #7 with rice and beans, I was told it came with onions and cilantro and I told them yes I wanted onions and cilantro. For $13 the burrito was very small and there was no onions and cilantro. The burrito was okay.

a little while ago me and my friends decided to try a new food spot around the area. i have never been here before but when we ordered our food, the service was great and speedy. overall the tacos here are so bomb and i would definitely recommend it

it was a mid off... looks better than it tastes. i might've ordered the wrong thing but it was very expensive for the quality and quantity of the food. consommé was subpar. horchata was pretty good

Service: the staff were friendly and informative about the product they sold. Looked like a three worker shift but the food came out relatively quickly. Food: The tacos dorados were my favorite, everything you need is also given to you right of the bat, (veggies, salsas, lemons) huge plus! The birria is 4 out 5 and Ofcourse I judge birria pretty hard due to being a fan favorite of ground cooked birria. Ambiance: from the outside looking in the establishment looked okay. As my wife and I walked in we were impressed to see how everything looked so modern. I especially liked that this restaurant has their business logo on everything, as a business owner myself this is the best way to advertise your business. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this restaurant.

Yummy Torta Titanic (Wet Torta) and 3 tacos dorados with consome (beef broth)! Jammin!

They serve them with three different moles, and honestly, nobody is beating them on that. All three are good, but if I had to pick a favorite, I'm going with the pipian mole. That one really stood out. I tried a few other things off the menu, and they were okay, but nothing made me want to come back the way those mole flautas did. I'd literally return just for that plate. I also really like the inside of the restaurant. The paintings and artwork give the place a lot of character and make you feel tapped into the culture while you're eating. Service has always been good too. They actually check back on you and make sure you're taken care of, which I appreciate. The chorizo was a bit too salty for my taste, but the cecina more than made up for it and honestly was my favorite of the three. The carne asada was solid too, cooked just right and full of flavor. Before the food even came out, they brought us chips with mole, and those were perfect on their own, a worthy palette opener while we waited! Service was great the entire meal, our server checked in often without hovering and made the whole experience feel special. For a birthday dinner with the family, it was just right.

For us, that's El Ranchito in Huntington Park. It's a family-owned, authentic Mexican restaurant that has had the community on its back for the last 6 decades. They hand-make the tortillas right in front of you, serve up fresh chunky guac, and make their iconic Mama Avila's soup fresh daily. It's rare that a soup has me hitting a stank face, but here we are. The Camarones al mojo de ajo is a can't miss appetizer. It's succulent shrimp sauteed in butter and fresh garlic, made to be eaten with the piping hot homemade tortillas. They have all the traditional Mexican dishes, my brothers go to is the chile relleno, but I always just run the fajitas. I'm sure I'll get clowned for this, but nothing heals my trauma and existential dread like a plate of sizzling fajitas. My pops has worked in the area for longer than I've been alive, so El Ranchito has seen every iteration of me, and of my family. For that, I am grateful. The meatballs are tender and have a perfect flavor profile of herbs and spice. Honestly, nothing disappoints here. The Pollo in Mole is also delicious. The tortillas are fresh and hand made. The Pollo con Rajas is creamy, cheesy, flavorful and the chicken has always been juicy underneath all that sauce, cooked perfectly. Service is attentive, the food has its charm with in-house made tortillas. It really was a hard review to write because all the elements of a great restaurant is embodied in this hidden gem. I chalk it up to ordering the wrong items. The flavors did not pop for me. Hubby opted for the chorizo and he said it was decent and he described it as "diet chorizo"--that he'd probably needed to go back to Sinaloa to capture the true essence of "real" chorizo, the way it's meant to be. The star of his meal was the in-house made flour tortillas-now that's authentic! This is/was the reason that it leaned towards a 4 star. These looked and tasted phenomenal. The aroma took me back to the times when we visited Rosarito's Puerto Nuevo, as the lady made the tortillas by hand & pressed them in the comal, ahh, good times. I ordered the vegetarian omelette with beans & potatoes. The omelette was decent with fresh bell peppers & onions but the seasoning was so mild that I requested for salt & pepper. The potatoes appeared well seasoned in color but lacked that oomph that salt & pepper couldn't fix. My apple pancakes were average. While I appreciated the strawberry compote, there was no apple or apple taste in them. To wash everything down, I had cafe de olla, that was good. The aroma of the brown sugar & cinnamon was ever present. Estrella, our server was very welcoming, attentive and friendly, she gets 5 stars for her service with a smile & hospitality. Their lunch & dinner menu looked very appealing but we wanted breakfast items. We wish we were both molé enthusiasts then perhaps we would've better appreciated & enjoyed those offerings. Both indoor & outdoor seating (front & rear), parking is free & shared with their liquor store at this corner small plaza. Beware, no restrooms available. I'm glad we gave this little shop a try.
