    Pastor Tacos

Came across this place while working in the area SO GLAD I stopped by. $16 for a LOADED California Burrito and 2 huge tacos. Cant beat it with a stick. They give you your burrito open faced so you can serve your self when it comes to salsas, then they will wrap it up for ya. I got the asada burrito and pastor tacos. The asada is up to par with similar stands, but nothing to brag about. Pastor was great, healthy portion of meat didn't skimp on the pineapple. I'll be back! Bring cash! It's easier. But they do accept electronic payments.

Tacos El Venado is the truth. You will not get a better meal for the money. Period. I've been fortunate to eat at Michelin rated restaurants in the US and in other countries and while those were great I sometimes think - yeah, that meal was great and all but I don't think that $200 meal was better than the $20 I spent at El Venado for a family of three. You must get the El Pastor. It is soooooooo good. You can see it cut right in front of you. The taste and juiciness of the el pastor is exquisite. My favorite combo is the quesataco (cheesy taco) with El pastor. It is perfection. Tacos El Venado is quintessential real LA street food at its best. FYI: It is cash only.

Tacos. El. Venado!! Oh man, I'm addicted to this taco stand! Stand, not a truck. It's just a grill setup right on the sidewalk just south of Victory Blvd and the flavors are stellar! A mulita is the perfect balance between a taco and quesadilla, although those are also super delicious as well. The taste of the Pastor is so so good, but so is the chicken! They're English is limited, but they'll most likely understand you as you order (but why not open GoogleTranslate and learn how to order a taco in Spanish..makes it feel complete!). The pineapple on top of the pastor queso tacos is the perfect touch. They're all super friendly with a smile and it's nice to feel surrounded by community all coming to the same place to get their taco fix. TIP: Only downside I can find is that all they have available for taking their salsas to go are plastic bags, which can get a little messy. So maybe bring a little container or dress your tacos/burritos/etc before you leave. 5 stars...and now I wanna go get some tacos!

Starting up around 5:30 on sepulveda just south of victory.

I found out about Tacos El Venado from a IG video a friend sent me of their carne asada fries, as soon as I saw that video I knew I had to try them. After checking out their page I saw they have 3 food truck locations, two in the San Fernando Valley (Van Nuys, & North Hollywood) and one in Korea Town. On their Instagram page them seem to have frequent post and daily stories with the days and times they'll be open. My review is specifically for their carne asada fries, they do a half an half with steak & al pastor with some nacho cheese cause..... man those fries are so damn good, so far the best I've had in LA, and they give you your money's worth. A full container of fries, loaded up with meat and cheese then you have the option to add whatever other toppings you want.

THE BEST and most AFFORDABLE tacos in LA. It's 2 bucks per taco and they always give you more. Venmo Parking space I usually go here after a workout or if I'm feeling hungry past 11pm.

    Rude Cashier .

This Cashier Was So Rude, Passive Aggressive, Got Upset Because I Requested (Politely) No Nacho Cheese In My Cali Burrito, Yelled My Order Back To Me, Rushed Me To Get Out, Didn't Even Give Me A Chance To Order A Drink, N Then My Other Friend I Was With, Asked What Was In A Cali Burrito, She Got Annoyed, Skipped Over Him N Went To The Next Customer. Usually All The Gentlemen There Are Nice, N I've Never Seen Her There Till Last Night, But Omg ! Such Disgusting Behavior ):

The pollo tacos were really good together with the toppings and the hot sauces which I liked. A stop at an EV charging station right beside the food stand brought me here. As a line kept forming periodically, I wanted to savor some of the yummy Mexican street food myself, and it was well worth it!

Right on Sepulveda Blvd just south of Victory!

DELICIOUS!!! My daughter told me I needed to check this place out and boy was she right! Delicious food with huge portions and super friendly people!!! I ordered two Kearny Asada tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The taco meat was well spiced and tender! The chicken quesadilla was so packed it must've weighed 5 pounds :-) wonderful tortillas lots of cheese and about a pound and tons of chicken!! Amazing salsas!! Delightful discovery and yes we'll go back!

Yumm Yumm Yumm you know a place like this is good when there's a line. I can't wait to go back I had the carnitas Mulita and one of them is huge two can definitely feed an adult. I also ordered two street tacos that I couldn't even touch after the mulitas I was so full so I saved them for the next day and they re heated excellent. Someone else in front of me got a giant burrito that also looked amazing basically this place is a must try!

I know that's controversial as a now East Coaster, but this Los Angeles staple will always have my heart. Why does In n' Out reign supreme? Every element, from the buns to the beef patty, are exceptional. The buns are soft and hefty. They don't easily disintegrate in your hands. They come out greased, as though they've been swiped with a bit of butter. The lettuce and onions are crisp, the latter both sweet and pungent. The tomatoes, too, are fresh. The cheese is perfectly melty, blending in with the signature sauce. And the patty, oh the patty: not too thick, perfectly seared, juicy, and, the best part, seasoned. The fries are hardly a supporting actor in this meal. They, too, are the best fries I've ever had, a blend of crispy and potatoe-y, peeled and fried on site. You can't get any fresher than that. Whenever I return to California, I always have a meal here. In n' Out is simply that good.

We paid $68 for two salads and an order of fries, which felt overpriced for the quality and portions. What really stood out, however, was the customer service. I visited with my mother and my toddler son. Since my son wasn't going to eat fried food, I bought him a fruit smoothie from a neighboring business. While we were already in line paying for our order, the owner or manager approached us and informed us that outside food and drinks were not allowed because the restaurant is kosher. Although he said he would make an exception this one time, he approached us again while we were waiting outside for our food. We had chosen to sit outside because the restaurant was crowded, loud, and stuffy inside. Despite us not causing any issues, he again insisted that the smoothie could not be on the premises and began explaining that his license could be suspended due to association rules. We politely told him it wasn't a problem and decided to take our food to go. I understand businesses have policies, but the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational, especially considering the drink was for a toddler and we had already spent nearly $70 at the restaurant. Between the mediocre food, high prices, and rude customer service, I would not return. There are plenty of better dining options in the area.

Over the years I've probably ordered more sandwiches here than I can count, and lately I've been making it my mission to work through their vegan menu one sandwich at a time. The thing I appreciate most is that Ike's doesn't treat vegan options like an afterthought. They have an entire lineup of creative sandwiches that all bring something different to the table. Some of my favorites so far have been the Meatless Mike, Handsome Owl, Pee-Wee, Vegan Bonnie Jill, and Vegan Mary Ashley. Every time I think I've found my favorite, another sandwich surprises me. The Sherman Oaks team is always welcoming, the food is consistently fresh, and the menu keeps me coming back. It's one of those places that's become part of my LA story.
