First time here and definitely won't be the last! We were heading home from Silver Lake and craving tacos when we spotted this place on the map and decided to stop by. We used the drive-through, which was quick and easy. I ordered the tacos al pastor with an horchata, and wow--these tacos were tasty! I really liked that they package all the toppings separately, so the tortillas and meat stay fresh and you can add the cilantro and onions yourself. They even included lemon and jalapeños on the side. Honestly, I wish I had ordered more food. I'll definitely be coming back!

Tacos Gavilan is one of my favorite spots for sopes. Everything they sell is good. Place is usually busy but service fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is very clean and has a lot of seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This particular location also has a drive thru.

Came to the one on Slauson and close to Broadway in LA. Service was okay but food was very tasty. My favorite is tacos de carne asada, burritos and mulitas with fresh guacamole. Food is tasty, and price is decent. Paid about $13 for one tamarind fresh water, 1 taco, and one mulita. Love, love, love their red salsa. Good for a quick stop. Food was ready in less than 5 minutes.

Asked for super burrito and was over charged

I ordered an all meat super burrito, they individually charged me for cheese , sour cream , and guacamole. I was in a rush so I didn't see what the charges were . I thought it would be for extra carne asada . Not sure if I will ever comeback I usually come to this location 2x a week . Going to find a new spot now.

Consistent taste and service. I really enjoy eating here for the price and the food. I looove the individual wrapped onion cilantro lemons salsa. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside reminded me of Breaking Bad Gus Fringe establishment[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I live down the street and come here all the time and they are so rude to anyone who doesn't speak Spanish. If I have a Spanish speaker with me, they are so nice. When it's just me, rude smh and I waited to make sure before I even made this comment but it's for sure. you're in America, so you should not be mad at me for speaking English smh

Nothing extraordinary but good. They give all the condiments on the side; there was more than enough. Good spot for late night burrito fix.

I remember this place being good, but for some reason it went down hill. I ordered 2 sopes, 1 ultimate burrito, a super nacho, and 1 Tongue taco. The sope where hard and it had no flavor. The burrito, all the meat was at the bottom so for the whole burrito you only ate rice. The nachos, it just looked sad with a strip of avocado. (Photo provided) service was ok nothing g special, [[HIGHLIGHT]]restaurant was clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. It was just the food that wasn't worth it.

Corona, Jackson Heights, and Roosevelt moved into a legit store front. The quality and service is good all around the clocks. The flavor will kick you in the N@#$!!!

My new go-to for quesadillas!! I FINALLY gave this place a try after passing by this place at least once weekly for years now. The super chicken quesadilla is soooooo good!!! The chicken is so tender, not burnt, and the flavor is amazing!! Not too salty and the portion is very decent for $10! The service was also super fast! 2-3 mins tops around 3pm on a Sunday. There was only one car in front of me in the drive thru. The only thing is I wish they used paper plates I instead of plastic. They gave me a lot of napkins and sauces. Love that there's also chopped up onion packets! The staff was also super friendly when I asked for recs. Will definitely be coming back!

Just order from this place, and I am in shock!!!! Unbelievable they are charging for the meat to get cooked a little more well!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS!!! Last time I came I felt like my chorizo was not cooked well so I figured this time I would asked if they could cook it a little longer. The girl tells me it is going to be extra!!!! EXTRA WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!! I ask why and the reason is because it takes longer to cook!!!! THIS IS ABSURD!!!! Doesn't not make any sense!!!! Also how in the world am I suppose to see what I got charge and if it's correct! I really hope management reads this and resolves these issues Which I am sure it is going to cause problems

Small sope for $5!? No lettuce n little meat. Not worth it. Won't be going back. Too small of a scope too

The asada is premium steak chunks that is superior to any other asada you would get from a regular taco spot. The watermelon juice is one of the most refreshing drinks one could get on a hot day. The hard shell crunchy shredded beef tacos are so huge, i got full off one on one visit to thus spot. The nachos are heavy as hell and totally worth ordering. The service can take a little bit if time if there is other cars in the drive thru... but, it's well worth the wait. If you hungry... this place will not disappoint. This will not only fill your hunger, it will change your life. Good food, great service, friendly employees. Try the Habanero hot sauce while you are there. That hot sauce is one of my favorites. Do yourself a favor and try this amazing fast food spot.

I also wanted to try the taquitos, but I held off and got an order of fries instead. After placing my order, I drove up to the window....I had no idea where to stop to be honest. Then I saw the register, so I stopped there. She employee read my order back to me, I paid and waited. It didn't take long. Got home and I dug in. Breakfast Burrito - it's thick. They filled that tortilla with beans, eggs, sausage and potato's. That tortilla was holding on for dear life. Look I'm a sucker for a good breakfast burrito and this one hit the spot. They didn't skimp out in the sausage and eggs. Most places fill it with beans and fillers. Rero's did not do that, it was a good ratio. Fries - look, you cant mess up fries. They gave you a huge box filled with them They also gave me a small bag of tortilla chips and they tasted a little stale. Like Chipotle chips. Overall good value and the burrito hit the spot. I would definitely come back

The staff are very welcoming and genuinely warm. The restaurant has cozy and inviting ambience. Outdoor and indoor seating are available. I placed an online order for pickup. It was fast and convenient since I had friends coming for dinner. I ordered the following: - Burrito Panchon 5/5 Stuffed with carnita, beans and rice, served with cream, beans and guacamole. Huge portion! You can choose your protein. - Fajitas Cielo Mar Y Tierra 5/5 Marinated beef, shrimp, chicken. It served with sauteed bell peppers tomatoes and onions, rice, guacamole, beans and pico de gallo. The service was just okay, but what really bothered me was being charged $17 for my daughter, who is only 2 years old. She barely ate anything, just about two pieces of watermelon and a small bite of concha bread. For that amount of food, I found the $17 charge completely unreasonable. When I questioned the charge, the waiter explained that because the food was put on her plate rather than being fed to her directly by us, they considered her to have eaten from the buffet and charged the full $17. He also mentioned that management is watching the cameras to determine whether children are eating from the buffet. Honestly, I find this policy excessive. I understand that buffets need rules to prevent people from sharing food or taking advantage of the system, but charging $17 for a 2 year old who ate practically nothing seems unreasonable. There should be some sort of reduced price or reasonable policy for toddlers, especially when they consume such a small amount of food. The food may be worth trying, but because of this experience and the way the situation was handled, I would think twice before returning. A $17 charge for what my 2-year-old actually ate felt ridiculous and left a very negative impression

When I was a little kid, my dad loved going to El Loco for the machaca burritos. I remember them being really good, although in fairness, my palate at the time was probably not exactly Michelin ready. So when I realized this El Loco was still around, I had to come check it out for old time's sake. I went with the chili relleno burrito, and I'm happy to report that it was delicious. And enormous. This thing was so big I could probably take a nap on it. It was cheesy, packed with flavor, and just plain old satisfying. There is one little caveat, though. I noticed the total seemed too high when I paid, and sure enough, I had been overcharged by about four bucks. I pointed it out, and the woman immediately apologized and said she'd made a mistake. I don't think there was anything nefarious going on, but it did leave me wondering how often a mistake like that goes unnoticed when someone isn't paying close attention. So, you know, maybe keep an eye on your receipt. Still, that's a relatively minor ding on what was otherwise a really good experience. The burrito was great, the nostalgia was strong, and I got to revisit a place that I remember from when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. And here's a fun little piece of movie trivia: Good Burger, starring Kenan Thompson, was filmed at this very location. So you can come here for a chili relleno burrito and get your Nickelodeon nostalgia on. That's a pretty solid afternoon.
