    Machaca breakfast burrito

Still fantastic :) I'll place an order from here almost every weekend. And everything I order has always been great from the soup to the burritos to the tacos to the salsas provided all the food is very enjoyable.

    Carne Asada Tostada
    Laurie D.

My husband and I go to this restaurant occasionally. I decided to try a chicken tostada. I was surprised when I received a carne asada tostada, but I decided to eat it because I was hungry and didn't want to wait for them to make me another one. It was good, but it wasn't the best tostada I've had. My husband loves their Caldo de Pollo Soup. It's always delicious! Highly recommend the soup!

    Sausage breakfast "Burrito" Mostly tortilla
    Sonia D.

Burritos are super thin. Definitely not worth the price. Mostly tortilla and egg. Their menu says $4.90 for breakfast burritos, but ended up being almost $10 each. $10 would've been fine if the Burritos were actually good, and not just loosely wrapped tortilla. Very disappointed, definitely sticking to other local spots for breakfast burritos

    Not cheap either

Great varieties of food. Good price. Food always fresh. I started coming here because its right next to my Zumba placeand they have fresh kale, beets and orange juices with good deal, 2 for $5. I tried their caldode res, Mojarra frita (fried tilapia), chicken soup, tacos and i like it all. It taste like home cooking.

I made my way to the front from there. It wasn't too busy at around 12pm. Staff let me sit at the nearby booth. Chips and salsa was complimentary for the first round. I decided on the Lunch Special with the Tacos Dorados with beef. The price I believe ended up being $12.99 for the lunch specials. The food was ready pretty quickly. It was a lot of food for lunch so definitively worth a try. The plate was satisfying and beef was tender in the dorados. I enjoyed the rice and beans as well and left there happy. Overall, it a spacious location with solid options. A decent spot to also watch a game with the TVs around the place. I wouldn't mind dropping by again. ( ^_^)b

The chips and salsa were both fantastic. We both ordered the mixed fajitas- we could have spit one order and been full. I'm glad we didn't, because now we have a complete dinner of leftovers! The fajitas were brought to the table steaming. A great mix of green & red bell peppers, red onions, spices, beef ( not sure of the cut), chicken breast, and shrimp. The beef pieces were a little thin and dry, but in the mix with everything else, it really wasn't a big drawback. The fresh tortillas were perfect, as were the beans. We were checked on throughout our dinner, which was appreciated. My wife ordered the pomegranate margarita, which she really enjoyed. We have a new favorite Mexican restaurant, and can't wait to return.

We did notice that no one was seating in their covered outdoor patio even though we told him we'd take a table outside. It wasn't until someone in our party went to see about the patio and then they sat us right away. I don't know why they'd allow people to leave because of the wait without offering patio seating. It's not like it was a hot day. Overall though, the food was good. We had a variety of food, from fish to tacos to ceviche and we all enjoyed the food. Don't know if I'd go back if we had to wait that long again though without taking reservations. Especially if they're not sitting outside.

In fact, their air-conditioning was a reprieve from a hot day when we walked in. Alex greeted us with his friendly smile & very attentive to us even giving us some extra beans & radish to go. There was only one table taken, very clean and you can either order on a tablet or at the counter. The lady who took out order was friendly and explained her most popular items. We choose the birria quesadilla with a small consomé, chilaquiles verdes con huevo, agua de horchata and an agua mitad de pepino y mitad piña as as she recommended. The service was fast, food taste fresh. The chilaquiles were too soggy for my liking. I prefer crunchy tortilla chips, the salsa was ok- not spicy and the egg wasn't scrambled as I asked for. Rice and beans were good. The birria quesadillas was decent, nothing out of this world. The horchata was not good, it tasted powdery - it kind of tasted like a gelatina. The agua de pepino mix was good. Refreshing and not too sweet. I don't think I would be coming back here. I wasn't very impressed.
