The tacos are a good buy here. My brother in law said that the tripas taco was delicious. He also had a fried mojarra (fish) that he fell in love with. My husband had the al pastor, chorizo and asada tacos. He said that the asada lacked a bit of flavor but the others were very good. I had the asada nachos which were a very generous portion for the price. They were good and I loved the fact that they use peruano beans which I am partial to. They offer jarritos, sidral and aguas frescas. The place looks nice and clean, there are two high tables that fit two people and three regular tables that fit four. They accept credit cards and do not charge a fee for it (other unscrupulous Mexican restaurants that are close to this location do). I can't wait to try the other dishes here, like the enchiladas and sopes.

Oh man. For a new Mexican place these guys are doing it right. Open until 11pm everyday too! Delicious lengua, and good carne asada. They have Nacho Fries (Carne Asada fries to you and me) and they are great. I would ask for the fries to be cooked a bit more, but the portions are generous. $1.25 tacos everyday is unbeatable. Wonderful red and green salsa at the mini salsa bar. The owner is friendly enough and the service is super quick. nice clean quiet seating indoors too. They do fresh made Menudo on the weekends if thats your thing too. Also they have really really good horchata. They also have Aguq fresca de pina, and jamica (have yet to try).

Very clean. Not sure if that was the owner that was working but he was by himself. He was very nice & helpful. I had their "nacho fries" (carne asada fries) but I asked not to have beans. OMG heaven. I am so happy this place is right down the street from me so I can literally walk over here if I was craving my carne asada fries fix. Credit card minimum $15 or there's a .50 charge. Their plaza is a bit small so if the martial arts place next door has a class, parking might be a bitch.

    A very greasy cheeseless quesadilla!

Food comes out quickly, which makes the whole experience even better. There isn't a single thing I've ordered here that I didn't love. My husband and I always go for the steak pupusa, a revuelta pupusa, and a chicharrón con queso pupusa. If you're looking for melt-in-your-mouth, flavorful pupusas, this is your spot. They also offer deals on certain days, which is a nice bonus. Allison and Maritza provide exceptional service and truly make you feel taken care of. They give prima vibes and I'm here for it! The ambiance feels like you're at your tía's house, music playing, lively energy, and just the perfect vibe for enjoying amazing food. They've got soccer on one TV and something else on another.

It was right next door to my appointment and I thought I'd give it a try while waiting for my mom to finish up with her pedicure. They are $3.50 per tamale and it took approximately 10 minutes for my order of two to come out. I think they were steaming them. The restaurant was quite large and there was only one other customer there at about 4 PM on a Thursday. They had the ARV playing on the TVs and have bar seating. The service was friendly. Tamale is 8.5/10: it's packed with a lot of really fun, filling items, like a green bean, potato, olive, and hominy with white meat chicken. The chicken is a little bit dry. But the tamale is very flavorful!

Traditional Salvadorean Cuisine in the SFV!…read more Our first time trying Salvadorean food at this family owned restaurant in Reseda. Carlos gave us some great recommendations so we ended up trying pupusas for the first time. It's made with a homemade corn dough. It's thicker than a regular corn tortilla and stuffed with ground pork and cheese. They have a variety of fillings. You can add salsa roja, a flavorful tomato-based sauce or habanero sauce. Served with Curtido, a tangy, fermented cabbage slaw. So crispy, cheesy and filling. It came burning hot - I could barely hold it. But, I would definitely order this again! We tried Desayuno Típico, a traditional Salvadoran breakfast, which came with casamiento (beans and rice mixed together), Salvadorean style chorizo, fried plantains, 2 eggs, avocado, fresh cheese and Salvadorean style sour cream and homemade corn tortillas.
