I was told about your shop by a friend from work. I went last night and I was AMAZED! For years, I have had several favorite taco shops and trucks in L.A. and East L.A... Your shop is now, HANDS DOWN, my favorite taco shop. I told several people today, your tacos are the best tacos this side of Tijuana. Looking at your page, you are going for Tijuana style. Delicious! I went on my lunch break, the line was long, but the wait was not. The tacos were very good. The staff was hard working yet friendly. The outdoor seating area was clean and almost has an artsy feel to it. This taco shop is an LA caliber taco shop, but located in the IE. I had chorizo, adobada, and asada tacos. The tortillas are hand-made yellow corn tortillas. Everything was delicious. I'm torn between the adobada and chorizo as my favorite. I got back to work and have been raving about this place. Tacos La Central - Mexican Near Me - Colton, California

Visited this location on Monday the food is good I have been here before but was upset that I could not understand the cashier. She had a really heavy accent it was making it difficult for me to understand and order. I turned around and said a comment to my bf about the inconvenience but I guess the cashier heard me and told the cooks and employees in English which she should have spoke to me to begin with if she knew we were having a hard time understanding. They all huddled up in a circle and were staring at me I could tell that they were talking about me because they were laughing and looking back at me. The whole time I waited for my food was uncomfortable. It seemed like they really wanted me to know that they heard me. After receiving my food I was not comfortable with eating it because I'm sure it was tampered with and as I was leaving some employees exited there work station to see if we ate the tacos or not but we had threw them away. Very unprofessional, I work in a customer service environment and the customer should always be treated right because any business entity is because of the customer and if there is no customer there is no business. Very bad and uncomfortable experience also waisted my money. read more

After my initial review I've been here about 3 times. This is definitely the last. On my second visit I experienced the usual super long line but my tacos tasted super burnt. I understand that Tj tacos have that char taste but these tacos tasted too smokey/burnt. I thought maybe it was a bad day so I decided to give them a chance after that visit. Sadly I experienced the same burnt dry meat and then again today. Aside from their meat tasting super bad they do nothing to keep the fly infestation under control. The tables are dirty and full of crumbs which flies feast on. I was under the impression that after the business established a solid clientele maybe they'd invest in a patio cover or even a tent but I was wrong. There is no shade... there's only one person taking people's orders, there's always a super long line and you're in the sun sweating your life away and having flies attack you and your food. The food is great I love it and even though the lines can get quite long it's worth it in my opinion.

The tacos are good but nothing extraordinary. A tried the asada and al pastor. The asada was seasoned well, the al pastor was bland with no flavor. The salsas are good but the avocado salsa kind of tasted like mayonnaise not that great. It's always busy with no where to sit or park. Happy Fat Girl Here!! There are a lot of taco shops in the IE. Hands down this is by far the best I've had. At $2 a taco, well worth it. No need to drive to TJ. The meat (asada & adobada) was tender and had a good flavor. Very delicious. Only tacos on the menu so don't come looking for burritos or burgers. You better believe i'll back for more.
