The best tacos in Baja California. Marco is extremely welcoming and kind. His family's hospitality is the cherry on top of their world class food.

After googling different spots for fish tacos while out in Ensenada for the weekend I decided to give this spot a try. I'm glad I did, their variety of fish tacos at this spot is amazing. They offer many styles of fish tacos. The decoration at the place is unique and nice. It used to be a tuna packing warehouse back in the days and now it's a fish taco restaurant! Their tacos I decided to try were flavorful, I also tried their consomé de Pescado was was delicious also! I highly recommend this spot for anyone trying to get some of the best fish tacos you will ever try!

    Fun art.

I got a local tip about this place, near the coworking space where I have been working. Such an interesting space amongst the mechanics, lots of stuff to look at, fun for the kids and the range of seafood tacos is excellent. Great to meet Marco Antonio himself, legend! Highly recommend.

The fish tacos here are EXCELLENT. My friend and I only tried the Pescado Enpanizado "con todo" (which means with everything on it) and they we SO good! They have an amazing salsa bar here with most additions you'd need to add. I don't think I have had a fish taco taco as good as this place anywhere EVER. The prices are reasonable I will say. With the current US dollar to Mexican peso rate (21 pesos for $1), this place is decent. There are some that are slightly cheaper, but overall for the taste, quality, and environment, this place is a must when in Ensenada. It's located in a neighborhood so getting to it might be more difficult. It's not by the touristy areas so you'll need to find transportation to get here. The ambience in here is pretty cool as well. It seems like it used to be a smaller warehouse, but was converted into an open and airy taco place; seems a bit industrial looking inside. There are some cool things around if oh look closely. The cashier who took care of us was extremely nice and wished us a great day. The service here is quick, friendly, and the food is amazing. I can't wait to come back here!

Our favorite place we visited in Ensenada for "Thanksgiving" 2018. It was our first spot after driving straight from Los Angeles. We arrived around 9:30AM, they had just opened up. You do have to walk past a little coffee cart but keep going and you'll see it. It's somewhat cafeteria style where you pay at the end. So remember what you ate and be truthful! They're trusting us to be honest so it's the least we can do as well. It's 2 older men serving you everything from marlin tacos/quesadillas, fried shrimp tacos, etc. After proceed to the massive array of salsas I would say try a dot of everything til you find what you like! Nothing was overly spicy so don't be scared It's a great location with a lot of character and amazing local sea food. Parking is a toss up so go early because as you can it does get packed.

    Recommend this place 100 %

The Ramses taco... forget about it~ Air light crispy battered fish with chipotle sauced shrimp, light onions and your choice of toppings. My preference as you can see is cabbage shreads and cilantro with a Red Chile salsa that underlines it's presence. The lemon slice always has an open invitation. The Ramses taco,... my new favorite

When in Ensenada, seafood is a must. I've only had shrimp tacos a few times throughout my lifetime but I must say, this particular taco with the house crema sauce on top was something that I'll crave for the next upcoming weeks. Just to sample a few we ordered shrimp (camarón), marlin, pescado empanizado (fried fish) and a quesadilla de marlin. We got them all with the crema on it. The man assisting us did a good job of showing us everything on their menu before we ordered and pointed us in the direction of the salsas once we were done. They had this bar area filled with 5-7 different salsas lined up along with cilatro, limes, onions, and pico de gallo. I would highly advise to try them first because you'll be in for a shocking surprise. Luckily I put a little of a few different salsas to try on my plate. I had my first shrimp taco with this brick colored red salsa (de arbol?) and I must say, it definitely had me crying/ semi panicking HAHA! I've always said, if a salsa can make me cry, it's damn good! Overall the fish tacos were absolutely delicious, fresh, and so flavorful. They're really changing the game with mixing fish and dairy! Don't let the location detour you from trying some must have food in Ensenada.

We got beef asada and fried fish pescado. I believe it was only $2.50 per taco so not the cheapest but definitely by far the most affordable and yummy in the touristy area. It's a perfect walkable distance from the cruise port. You can pay USD cash and it shows on their payment terminal the conversion. I don't know how to double check if the conversion was 100% accurate but just from a little google go the current conversion and counting out how many tacos we ordered, everything seemed to check out!! They have tables for you to sit at inside but open facing so you're covered from the sun/rain. It comes with 3 different salsas, bowl of limes, and my favorite part is the grilled jalapeño and green onions - omg so good! I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in town. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the Asada just needed more flavor and not as cooked. I prefer a juicy medium Asada but I know that that's not how it's always eaten, just wish there was more flavor. Coming from Arizona I fortunately get to eat a lot of amazing Mexican food!

They had salsas and radishes on the table. The two tacos came out to $5.29 which is similar to US taco Tuesday pricing. Tastes very authentic.

Having gone to the famous mariscos street food stand that is La Guerrerense Carreta on a previous…read morevisit to Ensenada, and eating seafood tostadas standing up with my brother in a street alley while having various juices dribbling down my chin, I knew how good the seafood tostadas here could be. But figured I needed a better way to eat it while visiting Ensenada again with my wife. So this time, went to the nearby sister restaurant, Sabina. It's named for the owner of the original food stand, and there are a lot of pictures of her with other celebrities who appreciated her talent in creating seafood combinations. The Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant is within walking distance from the cruise port, and is located in an area with a lot of other restaurants and shops. We came there soon after it opened around 10 am, and had the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We showed that we were coming from California, by choosing indoor seating. We were given colorful menus and suggestions. We also got complementary chips and salsa, with 4 different varieties of her famous salsas being served. I tried all four of them, and two of them were way too hot, even in moderation. I did really like the green salsa, which tasted more like a simple guacamole. It also came with thinly slices of lime...each small slice producing so much more juice than any lime we get in California. My wife doesn't like raw seafood, so chose garlic shrimp (Caramones al Mojo de Ajo for Mex$405). There were plenty of jumbo headless, shell-on white shrimp, with the butter sauce being very light and not too garlicky. It came with a very good rice pilaf and sauteed vegetables (mostly squash which neither of us are a fan of). I went with 3 choices from the 5 selection 'Champion' list: 1. Erizo con Almeja (Sea Urchin with Clam for Mex$230) - winner of LA Street Food Fest 2011 for Best Original Showmanship 2. Caracol con Lajas de Caracol (Mixed Ceviche with Sea Snail for Mex$209) - winner of LA Street Food Fest 2012 for Best in Show 3. Singapur (Mex$209) - winner of LA Street Food Fest 2013 for unknown category). All three were piled high with fresh seafood, embellished with perfectly ripe avocado slices. None of them needed additional salsa, but adding a squeeze of lime enhanced. My favorite was the Singapore and would try the other two tostadas on the winners list the next time. The best way would be to order all the tostadas and split amongst a group of 4 or 5 friends (there are 6 other special tostadas and you can also create your own with the fresh seafood ingredients). Got two bottles of water (Mex$75 each...not cheap) and a local beer (Vera Niega Mexican Ale, a bottle being Mex$110) that was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly throughout, with multiple servers (Horacio and Antonio) attending to us, all trying to make sure we had a good time. Credit cards are accepted, using a modern tableside POS, and I was happy to pay a gratuity over what is customary. Bathrooms are modern, with individual stalls (most of them gender neutral) all sharing a nice common set of sinks. My wife and I left in fine spirits and it was beginning to fill up more as we left (all dining al fresco, of course). Dining at the nearby original food cart is worth the initial experience, but there is something to having food this good in a sit-down restaurant. Sabina is that place.

This is a spot that you can sit down and drink a beer and get the same amazing seafood. My favorites were the sea urchin tostada as well as the bluefin tostada with fried leaks on top of it. A bonus is that they give you salsa and chips with four different types of salsas. We also grabbed a couple of beers in margaritas which were amazing as well. This is a great spot for a well-known sit down restaurant for seafood tostadas.
