The food at Tacos Mexico is overall really good. During our recent visit, my family ordered food and two large Jamaica drinks and one small Tamarindo drink. Before leaving, we wanted refills. I was already aware that refills are charged, and I have no issue paying for a refill when that is the restaurant's policy. What caught me off guard, however, was being charged $3.00 for the refill of the small drink as well. I asked the cashier if I was being charged the correct amount since the original drink was a small, and I was told that they only have one refill option, which is $3.00, regardless of the size of the original drink. While $3.00 may not seem like a significant amount, it's really about the principle and transparency. If a customer purchases a smaller drink, it seems reasonable that the refill price would reflect the size of the drink, or at minimum that this policy would be clearly communicated beforehand. This is especially worth mentioning because the restaurant already charges additional fees for using debit/credit card services, so these extra charges can start to add up quickly. Again, the food is good, and I'm not against paying reasonable prices for quality food and drinks. I simply feel this particular policy should be re-evaluated or made more transparent to customers. Small details like this can make a big difference in the overall customer experience. Hopefully, management will take this feedback into consideration. read more

Amazing!!! Place is super clean! Staff is professional and well groomed!!! Menu is extensive, the reason, I came here tacos de Cabeza and tacos de Buche.!!!! Both were Bomb ordered my daughter a Quesadilla and it was bomb. The combo came with rice and beans which were both on point!!!!! Salsas were good also green is mild and red has a kick!!! Service was good. The establishment was clean and the food was so delicious. I ordered the tripas taco the Menudo and the quesobirra the Menudo was full of flavor had a deep rich broth. The meat was so clean. There's only a few places I get Manu though and now taco Mexico is one of my places. Wanted something quick for the family as we drove by. We ordered several tortas online and a burrito. When I went inside to pick up my order, the cashier greeted me, I gave my name, and she handed over my order, wrapped in a plastic bag. Unfortunately, the bag looked incredibly small for what I had ordered. I mentioned my concern, and after checking the receipt, she realized the kitchen had made tacos instead of the tortas I had ordered. I then had to wait for the correct items to be prepared. While waiting, I ordered four horchatas to go with our breakfast. As I stood off to the side, I noticed several dirty tables inside, even though it wasn't particularly busy. When my drinks were ready (they did put them in a cup holder, which I appreciated), I was handed four jamaicas instead of horchatas. I felt bad correcting the order again, but I wanted what I had originally requested. Overall, the staff seemed a bit off that day. I was disappointed there wasn't an apology or some gesture to make up for the mistakes, especially since we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for what was supposed to be a quick to-go order the orders in order to get what I initially wanted. But the tortas de asada did taste great. Burrito had cooled down since it wasnt one of the freshly made items. read more

I have driven past Tacos Mexico several times in the past. I really wanted to try them out. Finally one evening, my eldest daugther and I stopped by to pick up dinner. Ordered through the drive-thru. Staff was okay. 1 Chicken taquitos plate with rice and beans - this was good 2 Chicken tacos - lots of chicken chunks, but this was bland, no flavor 1 Potato taco - this was delicious, should have gotten 2 of them LOL 1 Pineapple agua frescas - this was watered down Overall food and drink were mediocre unfortunately. Prices were reasonable. Please note service charge applies when making payment with credit card. Bring cash if you don't want to pay the extra fee. As we were driving in and then driving out, we saw one at first, and then two security guards stationed outside the front door. It's a good thing. Our safety is important. Exterior was okay. This place is less than mid, over the years and time the quality and and portions of the food have gone down significantly, Antonio Moreno the founder, would not approve of how his chain restaurants is being carried over. If your looking for bland food go here but if your looking for something with more flavor and a better value you can try McDonald's. In addition everytime I've came here they change up how much they serve you and what is added on the food! First of all the lady didn't get my order right so I had to pay another $3.11 for another taco then I asked to speak for the manager, no manager on duty and I guess the guy that was the crew leader I spoke with him and he's explained to me when they read me back the order that I was given that I should've said something at that time really? The lady was speaking so fast. I couldn't understand exactly what she was saying! Then to boo, the quality of this food is not like that of the restaurant I been accustomed to East Los Angeles. The salsa is all watered down the hot, the mild, the spicy jalapeños, carrots, and onions, it just taste like pickled vinegar with no flavor in addition to that, the tacos are much smaller, and the meat had no flavor! The steak carne asada tacos taste like low quality cuts of meats and smell weird, the pastor tacos same thing lots of gristle, every other bite I found myself spitting it out supposed to be the most popular, if not for the adobo seasoning, you'd clearly see it's cheap cost cuts of meat. The rice tastes like Tap water, even the beans are just Alright. The quality and taste has gone way down from when they first began at the smaller store. I used to go there a lot, not anymore. The last tacos order was gross I gave it all to my dogs. Oh and a cashier , don't know her name but she has an unapproachable energy on, she hates her job. Im a taco al pastor fan. This place disappoints because ive tried other tacos mexico spots and for some reason they dont taste the same as this spot. Also dont like onions and cilantro how is served here very little to almost no cilantro, onion chunks are big for a taco. Just seems like they dont care! When you realize of having to spend good money on food you may like or even love to eat, and you realize you've just spent nearly $25 to $30 dollars on by yourself, and regarding the tax fee of 4% on your card! who really carry's cash anymore, and while your waiting you get your food and it's cold why I don't know why but it is. The ambiance inside is good. Average noise the tables are all tagged up. The usual for tacos Mexico Locations. The wait wasn't that long. 5 mins and I got my burrito de asada and side order of rice for my coworker. Burrito was no rice as I requested, and the meat tasted delicious.
