Just like most people in Deming, I've been coming here for years. It all started out from a food truck to now a restaurant and food quality is still the same. I remember days when we were younger and coming here after school for a been burrito and a lemonade. My older brother became good friends with the owners son so some days he would help out and hook us up with some free food. Beto is the owners son and he was always friendly to us. The whole family are good people and really take their time to make some good Mexican food. I first started out getting the torta with ham then progressed into the carne Asada torta with 3 tacos. I definitely leave full every time and I would not have it any other way. I've gotten tortas from other places and nothing comes close to theirs. When you order a lemonade they make it fresh and with lots of sugar so be ready for a sugar rush. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed. read more

Had the carnitas tacos. Meat was well seasoned, corn tortillas grilled perfectly, and filling. The pico was a little bland, but it probably was simply tomatoes, onions and jalapeños with no salt. Horchata good. Drinks expensive, but balances out with reasonable food prices. Friendly staff who appear to be one family where the elementary school age daughter delivered the food to you. Food is good and a decent price, I will say the staff needs to be a tad nicer though. I come into town time and again to visit family and friends. I went to order for my brother a barbacoa burrito and it was literally meat in a tortilla. I asked if that's the way it came or what because every place is different. I asked if they could add Pico and rice and beans the guy behind the counter in a rude voice says something along the lines (oh your from California huh)? I'm like umm yeaaaaaaa that's where I currently live. He's like well that's not how we make them here. I was just like ok if you could just add it to the burrito I'll pay the difference. When we are in Deming and when we feel like eating street tacos we always stop here. Today I ate a fish taco and it was yummy, I might order that next time. I also had a taco with buche and it was just ok, although it was fresh the taste was on the bland side. I like coming here because it has a quaint atmosphere, friendly staff, and fresh food. I wish they had a variety of salsas, and that they would serve a slice of lime with their tacos; the salsa they serve is between ok and good. And as a tip, if you don't like cilantro let them know because many of their tacos come with cilantro. Also they do have pico de gallo but that is upon request for some of the orders. read more

THIS PLACE IS LEGIT!! August 21 -- Found ourselves here late one night while passing through since it was one of the very few restaurants open after 8pm. So glad we did! I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Yes! A cheeseburger meal. My BF laughed at my order and didn't understand it so if you all don't know... the BEST burgers and fries are made at Mexican food restaurants. No lies. Check it! After he was done laughing, he decided on the carne asada burrito. We pre-ordered, arrived 20 minutes later to a quaint spot with cheap prices on their menu, picked up order, and ate in the car. (Don't think they have dine-in at this time but doublecheck.) My cheeseburger was everything and was even tastier than I had assumed. The burger patty was extra juicy and the buns were extra soft. The cook even grilled the outside of the bun! How about that?! My only complaint, no tomatoes. So if you love tomatoes like I do, don't forget to special order it. It's okay. The crinkle-cut fries definitely made up for it, and it was all still the best. Everything was cooked to perfection. My BF ate up his burriti, which he commented was "really good" then he finished up the rest of my burger and fries and agreed... that the burger and fries was one of the best he had eaten. Ha! We stopped through on our way to Albuquerque from Tucson and from the road you can't tell how awesome it is. Once inside it's adorable and the people are friendly and the food is impressive! Upon our travel to Texas we decided to stop by somewhere to eat. I looked them up online and saw 4 1/2 stars and pictures that really intrigued me. So I told my hubby lets stop here. It was tricky to find if your not from around here but once we arrived loved the decor and the simplicity of the menu. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla and 1 barbacoa taco. OMY i have never had such an amazing barbacoa taco! They only have red salsa but it is sooo goood!! Its just too spicy for my handling but definitely worth it. The quesadilla was perfect! Guacamole, cheese and meat. If you order in they put salsa in the quesadilla. If its takeout the salsa is on the side. My husband had carne asada tacos 4/5.95. He left the tab open because they are that good. We also ordered the only agua frescas they sell, horchata and limonada. SOO refreshing and delicious! Definitely can taste the horchata was freshly homemade not from a packet. Definitely will be stopping here on our way back home!! read more

We are from California and moved to El Paso. We stopped at deming for gas and food and ran into this gem. Being from Cali, we have experienced real authentic Mexican food and it has been very hard to find something close to it in El Paso (shocked to say). But this place, whoah!! It was delicious!! We ordered a couple burritos (carnitas and carne asada), an order of four tacos (carne asada), and a cheese quesadilla to go. The quesadilla was OK (what else can you say, it's just cheese and a tortilla...) but everything else was fantastic. The burritos are not entirely closed - they're more like a large taco, but the flour tortillas were perfectly cooked and the meat was as good as it gets. Apart from the delicious meat, the filling consisted of diced raw onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos, and a bit of guacamole. The balance of all the ingredients was fantastic. The meat had just enough fat to it. The burritos were not huge, but they were cheap. I could have eaten several burritos. I will seriously consider going again if I find myself in Deming. read more

Best tacos on the planet, well that might be a little over the top, great tacos. Not a swanky Mexican restaurant, more like the cantina across the border. Their lemonade made with Key limes is the most refreshing beverage you can imagine. We stopped in early for some carne asada tacos and they were $4.95 for three of them. We were given some chips and salsa, the chips were not very fresh and the salsa was not that spectacular. When the tacos arrived there was nothing on the plate but the tacos and some sauce that looked like it was 60% grease/oil. I had to ask for Limons. We were very surprised because we went in with such high expectations based on the Yelp reviews. I don't know maybe spending so much time in Mexico eating real carne asada street tacos left us expecting more and disappointed when it didn't arrive. Everything that we've ordered is delicious whether it's Mexican food or a burger. My faves are the tortas and chile relleno burritos. The food doesn't disappoint! On a side note there is something I should share - if you are like me and don't carry cash and you use your debit card to pay for everything, be prepared to pay a $4 transaction fee regardless of the amount of your ticket. I recently went in to pick up an order to go and saw a notice in Spanish telling people about this new charge. It was also in English but it was facing away from the counter. If you're like me, I wasn't paying attention to the notice. If it hadn't been for a phone call at that precise moment, I would have been charged this fee. Luckily, I noticed it, asked about it, and luckily I had a $20 bill which I used to pay for my order. I would have ended up paying almost 30% more for my order had I not seen the sign. I understand that some places of business have to pay a fee for card transactions but never before had I seen a fee such as this one. I've seen businesses that charge a minimal fee, if the bill is less than $5 but never this. In fact, there's a person who charges 10 cents for card transactions. So if you're just going to order a burrito and a limonada, your cost would be approximately $5.75 but with the $4 fee, you just bumped you total cost to $9.75 plus tax. Keep eating there but take cash. The food IS delicious!!! read more
