Everything that we've ordered is delicious whether it's Mexican food or a burger. My faves are the tortas and chile relleno burritos. The food doesn't disappoint! On a side note there is something I should share - if you are like me and don't carry cash and you use your debit card to pay for everything, be prepared to pay a $4 transaction fee regardless of the amount of your ticket. I recently went in to pick up an order to go and saw a notice in Spanish telling people about this new charge. It was also in English but it was facing away from the counter. If you're like me, I wasn't paying attention to the notice. If it hadn't been for a phone call at that precise moment, I would have been charged this fee. Luckily, I noticed it, asked about it, and luckily I had a $20 bill which I used to pay for my order. I would have ended up paying almost 30% more for my order had I not seen the sign. I understand that some places of business have to pay a fee for card transactions but never before had I seen a fee such as this one. I've seen businesses that charge a minimal fee, if the bill is less than $5 but never this. In fact, there's a person who charges 10 cents for card transactions. So if you're just going to order a burrito and a limonada, your cost would be approximately $5.75 but with the $4 fee, you just bumped you total cost to $9.75 plus tax. Keep eating there but take cash. The food IS delicious!!! read more

Stopped in to grab takeout around 930pm before they closed at 10pm. Who I assume is the owner welcomed us and gave us all samples of the carne asada and barbacoa on chips. Both were great and I ordered the carne asada burrito with pico de gallo and guacamole ($1 extra). Came to $5.34. Tasted Fantastic. Would definitely come back if I'm ever passing through again. read more

As much as I enjoy the food and especially the limonada, the prices make it hard to keep coming back. $2.50 for a side of rice and beans that equals less than half a cup together is a bit of a rip off. read more

Whaaaaat! Drop the mike! This place is beyond great! Traveling from SoCal with our 2 kids (dogs ) and this is the BEST tacos we have ever had. George, the owner, was extremely friendly and approachable. My husband had one each of the different tacos and he had trouble trying to decide which he liked best. They were all great and unique in flavor. I had the carnitas tacos and they were the best I've had and I order carnitas all the time, no comparison hands down. The lemonade, what can I say except, perfect. We also asked George to scramble some eggs for us for our dogs which he did without hesitation. The prices were very reasonable. So next time we come through we will definitely swing in to say "hi" to our new friend and treat ourselves to his delicious food! Thanks George! read more

Pleasantly surprised! This place is literally a hole-in-the-wall. It was late and they were still open as we were driving on our way to Texas. I ordered beef (not ground!) tacos (fried corn tortilla) and was surprised that this was good Mexican food! Prices were pretty good too. They were very accommodating when we asked if they could add shrimp to our carne asada burrito. A good place right on the main street, the place is visible but the parking is tricky. The tortas are my favorite a d their lemonade is the best in town..however, the wait times are LONG, even for a basic order it can take a while, so be prepared to wait. read more

This is the best place in Deming to get mexican street-style tacos and food. Carne asada tacos are great and served with onions and cilantro. The burrito is served with an awesome pico de gallo. They also have really good tortas with guacamole and jalapenos. On top of all the great specialties they have, they also offer traditional New Mexican food like combination plates, enchiladas, tamales, and chiles rellenos. It's a small place so it's easy for them to get busy, and sometimes they take a little longer than other places, but it's definitely not an extreme wait. Their lemonadas are awesome, but they are very sweet, at least they are homemade everyday, sometimes more like every hour. I'd recommend this place to anyone craving tacos, especially carne asada! read more

We simply cannot imagine why all the 'stars' for this poor Mexican choice. Can you say..."poor value, below average food.....and the portions were so SMALL...'! For $4.95! you get three MINIATURE tacos with VERY little in them...$5.95!! if you choose al pastor or a few other meats. The three tiny tacos sit like a small island on the big flimsy plastic picnic plates. It truly seems like this rip off place is TRYING to see just how little they can actually give you to eat...and get away with it...! One upside was the table salsa...pretty good! The 'chips' with it, however were stone cold right of the bag...and a cheap bag too...! There MUST be better offerings in town; I'll try to find them....but certainly NO return trip to the casa de las miniature empty tacos....!!!! Save your pesos for somewhere else.....I surely will.....! read more

Great authentic food. Beef fajitas very tender and well seasoned. Friendly service. Taco stand feel with limited indoor seating. Went during a rush so entire visit was about 45 min but could have been shorter if not for the number of people ahead of us. Carne Asada tacos were good. Asked for lime but never came. She seemed very busy. Next time we drive through we'll eat here. Prices were good. read more

Never in Deming before, and wanted some good Mexican food. Went in Yelp and saw all the good reviews of this place. I was a bit hesitant because it looked like a total dive, but was willing to try it due to the good reviews. When I pulled up, I was still hesitant, but went in anyway. When I walked through the door, I was comforted because the place was packed! I figured it had to be good since all these people where there. I looked at the menus and was shocked how inexpensive the food was. As I looked around at other people's plates, it looked fantastic. I made my order to go because there was no place to sit. I was shocked how great the food was! By far, the best Mexican food i have ever had! The carne Assad was out of this world, and the chicken enchiladas was delicious. Had the green chili, and again, was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place to all Mexican food lovers. read more
