Tiny and no taste tamales
Juan S.

Fake Mexican food. I stoped to get some food He gave us samples about the rice and beans he claimed that his rice is the best When I tested the rice was under cooked and spicy who the heck put spicy in rice! When you cook it. Also beans was ok when I ordered tamales when I got home and saw the tamales I was in shocked A tired of the wait of a regular tamales and the bean was going bad and tested old and nasty The rice was hard undercooked And I paid almost 21 for tamales and a little bit of rice and beans I won't never com

Not a drop of grease on the grease tray! Exceptionally friendly service and fast fresh, delicious food! Vegan and vegetarian friendly but he delivers the meat too! And by all means try the Nutty Wutty it's delish!

First time trying it I orderd the Carna Asada burrito. The owner Chester invited me to watch him cook it. Very clean establishment you can tell he takes pride in what he does for a living. They are not the largest burrito's in town but the quality was amazing. I was full after enjoying every bite. I will definitely be back.

$9.99 for a bean, rice, grilled onion, & pepper jack cheese burrito. Way overpriced.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I'm surprised that this establishment has an average of 4 stars. It doesn't deserve it. Reading other bad reviews, it seems he has the same tactic with all his customers. He also welcomed us to the "family", showed us his grease trap, gave us teeny samples, an explanation on why he doesn't use pork, compared his meat quality to fine wine, showed us his feature in the Columbian, and explained how he uses only the best ingredients. First it was like, oh wow this guy is passionate & kinda funny. But asking anything about the menu resulted in a 5-10 minute explanation & this became quite frustrating. This is a food cart! We came here because we were low on time & it took 30 MINUTES to order two burritos which were highly overpriced at $9.99 each. Time is money. Then his card device wasn't working properly so it denied one of my cards, finally accepted a different card, & wouldn't accept my friend's card at all. Instead of taking the blame & giving him the burrito for free he said he needs to come back because he owes $10.83. Yikes, what kind of customer service is that?! I walked away from there with almost no desire to actually eat the burrito. & the burrito itself was not that great. It was almost too heavy- rice, beans, meat. No freshness about it. But so small that it didn't really fill you up. The shpeel before set a very high standard, & the food itself fell short of it.

Little Conejo has the best tacos in town. I grew up in Arizona and this is the only Mexican…read morerestaurant around that I actually take family to when they visit. My favorites are the fish tacos, tacos dorados, choriqueso, and carnitas. Their brunch is solid, but service is consistently slow for brunch and both times I didn't receive my chilaquiles until they were already soggy. Still, I give this review 5 stars because the non-brunch offerings are so great.

Wasn't too welcoming. I had never been and was hoping she could go over some of the items and what was popular etc. we were the only ones in there so I figured she had time. But no one helped us or wanted to go over the menu. We got shrimp, carnitas tacos. The portion sizes were LARGE! However, the food was amazing! 10/10 The plating of the dishes were also 10/10 Portion sizes very generous I got a carnitas quesadilla and WOW it was as huge! Clean ingredients Beer was ice cold *we order and aqua Fresca, which was delicious. It was $5 for about 6 oz and mostly ice. I know they make it in house but jeez it was very pricey. Very casual ambiance, good place to grab happy hour. You can sit, have a beer and watch a sports game at the bar. During warmer months they have a patio. Highly recommend giving them a try!

The new ownership are still in the process of updating the name on all the online review sites. Best Mexican food in Vancouver and probably the Portland Metro area as well. Fair prices, fantastic food, and lots of salsa choices. Apparently new ownership as of 2 months ago (so prob Sept 2025). We had the taco plate and the steak and chorizo burrito Both were good sized. We were looking for a place to eat close to the hospital and this will be the top choice if we need to come back! The waitress was also super helpful in deciding what to get.

The quesabirria was absolutely disgusting and looked like day old prep then tossed into the microwave making a dry and soggy pile of slop the tortilla. The correct way to make quesabirria you deep fry corn tortillas with meat and cheese the way quesabirria is supposed to be made You used a thick Gordita Tortilla prepared it yesterday shoved it into a cooler then microwave them next business day. This is completely unacceptable and shameful I am a lost for words my family also owns a Mexican restaurant we take pride in our food quality and I'll leave you the owners with this honest question where is your Mexican pride our heritage is expressed in our food and so let me ask you what happened to you? I'm ashamed that this is how you represent our people. I expect better. I won't be back until you learn how to properly show respect for our cultures food and stop making this slop it's shameful and disgusting.

The ambiance looked and felt about what I assumed it would. I walked in, went to the back where the restaurant part is. I then looked at the menu and then ordered. It felt like I waited a really long time. After looking, it was 25 minutes which after what I recieved felt too long. I have to add I came in 30 minutes after opening and no other customers were there. Three people who ordered after me, all got thier food before me. The burrito was fine. It was a decent size for the price but somewhat flavorless. The hot sauce was okay, but definitely not enough for a whole burrito. Overall if the food had been mind blowing I would not have cared about the wait. But honestly I can name three fast food restaurants that are all close by where I could have stayed in my car and got something of equal or better quality.
