We were in search for a local spot that has Taco Tuesday deals and this popped up! Taco Tuesday special $1.35 per taco for Al Pastor, Asada, Bucho, Chorizo, Pollo and Carnitas. Tried this spot for the first time today. Ordered the shrimp gobernador taco, steak quesadilla with extra cheese, and a California burrito to go. The shrimp taco was honestly really good -- 9/10. The steak quesadilla also had great flavor and would've been a 10/10, but it got super greasy after a while and I found a hard white/rock-like piece in one of the bites, so I stopped eating it. The California burrito was decent, around a 7/10, but it didn't come with guacamole which threw me off since most California burritos usually do. The salsa bar was okay, but the sauces tasted watered down and not very fresh. I also waited about 15-20 minutes inside and the place felt extremely hot and smoky with poor ventilation. I know it's a hole-in-the-wall spot, but overall it didn't feel very clean. I left smelling like food (not in a good way). The food had a lot of flavor and was close to some of the better Mexican food I've had in Anaheim, but after the experience I'm honestly questioning the cleanliness and probably wouldn't go back unless they improve sanitation and ventilation. read more

This place has great taco pizzas! My girlfriend and I ordered the Mexican meat lovers pizza and it was great. Not the best I've had but best in the area. All meats were flavorful and tender and the complimentary toppings paired well. Our only "con" or "flaw" that we had was the "pizza dough" was too thick and chewy. Otherwise it was very tasty! Very few places do Mexican pizza, and this is the only place that does it right. The Mexican meat lovers is the go to but the other meat options are good too if you don't like one of the meats or something. If you like shrimp, the Al gobernator is a must! It's like a creamy garlic shrimp that just works and is always a crowd pleaser. Their pizza crust is like a hybrid Detroit style that is thicker than the average standard crust, has good bounce and chew, and they do the cheese on the outer bottoms that gets nice and toasty. I also love their open salsa bar with tons of options. The creamy avocado salsa is our go to, and I always grab their pickled carrots, cucumbers, onions/cilantro and pickled onions/cilantro. It's super nice that they have the sandwich bags for the bulkier items. Avoid delivery at all cost! I was lazy and tried it once and the pizza is not the same. It sits in the delivery drivers car way too long and just becomes too spongy. Call in the order and go pick it up for the true quality experience! The staff is always super friendly and the inside can get a little cramp since they're usually busy. I like that the parking lot is pretty open as well so parking has never been an issue. read more

I love this place. I have been coming to this little restaurant since May 6, 2019. A store Manager I use to work for bought us pizza but it wasn't just any pizza. It was a carne asada pizza. It definitely looked and smelled delicious. I was skeptical because well a carne asada pizza. It was good. And so this went on until I was let go from my job due to COVID. And lowkey I never asked my manager where he got this pizza. I still think he was trying to keep it a secret. When Covid locked down happened. Ordering food was very popular. So I stumbled upon this restaurant and realized their menu carried the carne asada pizza. And I said well I miss these, let me try this place out. Dude! It was the exact same pizza. It was such a great feeling to know his secret. When covid chilled out and you could go in eat there I was so happy to find such a comfort knowing it was real food from real good cooks and the customer service there is always nice.
