Hector and his team have been a go to caterer for my family over the years as my family loves to throw backyard parties!! They make it super easy to book an event, set up and their prices are fair for the quality of the food and agua frescas! I believe they also have fun add ons, so it's not only tacos. For the meats, the one that goes fast is always asada and then pollo. The fresh salsas are also pretty good-- I think he also has a super hot one which my guests love. Don't forget to try the beans bc they are my absolute favorite, super flavorful and I don't even like beans too much! For our last couple parties we did the watermelon cucumber lemonade and on a super hot summer day it is SUPER refreshing!! Lastly, set up is pretty easy. They do their own thing, you just have to set up space for them and they're always super nice about everything and ready to serve on time from when you confirm you need the food. I had the chance to try Tacos El Torito 626 at a school event, and they were fantastic! Everything was cooked fresh on-site, and the quality definitely stood out. The tacos and mulitas were delicious, with great-quality meat and plenty of flavor. They also cater much more than tacos, including bacon-wrapped hot dogs, burgers, BBQ, brisket, desserts and more. I was especially impressed with their setup. Even during a busy event, everything was clean, organized and well maintained, including the condiment station. We hired Hector for a taco pop up for our little league closing day and were very happy with his communication ahead of time and service before and day of. The al pastor was my favorite! They also have a different flavored water every week and I'm so excited for winter because that means bomb CHAMPURRADO! Seriously, it's honestly the best I've tasted. They also have so many good options on their menu.. NOT JUST DOLLAR TACOS. There are quesadillas and Tortas and mulitas! Best tacos in town hands down. One of my friends recommended me to his tacos and man his meats is the best . I'm a picky person when it comes to quality tacos but Héctor does a really good job preparing his meat and makes it feel like home-Style. Let me say save some time on trying the different choices and try the Chicaron first. Overall his service is great the salsa are really good and fits they style of his cooking . Just tried this place for $1 taco Tuesday, and if you're even thinking of trying this place, GO, trust me boooomb tacos and they don't skimp on meat at all. They have all options available, desebrada and birria were my fave, and I loved that the chorizo was not super greasy at all. Where else can you get $1 birria tacos this good anywhere near LP. All the meats are really juicy and they have grilled onions and jalapenos, and pickled purple onions for you to serve yourself. Both green and red salsa are very flavorful but not too hot. PS. they also have champurrado and empanadas, the champurrado is the best will have to try empanadas next time! Found my new Taco Tuesday spot! read more

Taco Tuesday. Do I need to say anymore than that!? Of course I do. Tacos are $1 each, different types of meat (hit me with that asada!!!!!) and they accept visa/MasterCard and cash. The food is magnificent. My goodness, I've already began a weekly tradition and dropped by a few weeks in a row (except on rainy Tuesdays when they're closed), and I'm dragging along anyone I know to expose them to the heavenly goodness I was able to experience. 9 out of 5 stars, I'll recommend. I love my tacos, been to many, many taco places, but with taste-to-price ratio at THIS caliber.... you best believe they have a repeat customer coming through for. I'm saddened that I have to give Tacos El Torito such a low score because there food no doubt is great. Their food presentation is very nice. They even have taco Tuesdays so that future customers can try their food before hand and check out there layout. I unfortunately hired them for my baby shower and it was a nightmare. The owner did mention he would not be the one hosting my event however he sends someone who was rude to our guest, did not come prepared and asked me for a table to set up the food and to make everything worst, the man left 30 min earlier than contracted for. Amongst everything else that went wrong besides what's mentioned, I would just suggest you confirm that the contract you sign is respected especially if your paying a crazy amount of money like how I was.
