Went to get lunch here. Got here, guy that took my order was very nice. Saw that a super burrito…read morewas $9 which is a little over the average price of a super burrito, but I thought maybe it might be worth it. I was the only one there and ordered a super burrito de bistec, only to find out when I got home, that it was just a plain burrito with meat, beans, rice, and cheese. I don't know what they consider a super burrito, but usually includes sour cream and guac or something! But this burrito had none of that. And the burrito was bland. All you taste if salsa with random textures. I would not recommend this place to anyone. How can they get my order wrong when I was the only one there? 2 stars for the guy who took my order. He's cool.

This lonchera food truck operates out of the parking lot for Sebastapol Fast Gas, on Highway 116…read morejust south of Sebastapol. Given the category "food trucks" don't look for four star ambiance, look for four star food. I had the taco combination plate with carnitas. Although the corn tortillas were packaged they were local, fresh and nicely browned yet still soft. The carnitas came in a tomato and chile based sauce that was delicious in spite of the steak being a little chewy. My wife had the chicken fajitas that were tender with fresh scallions and bell pepper. They came with nice chewy flour tortillas. We arrived about 11:30 and were pleased to find they made our food to order. There is some seating behind the truck to get you away from traffic, a port-a-potty, and kick-ass hot sauce on the table. Nice beans too. Gas and go and gas, what more can you ask for?

The menu consist of sandwiches and fries, however they do those two things very well. You pay a hefty price but the flavors are so thoughtful and fresh. You will not regret it. I ordered the sauerkraut and avocado sandwich with a side of fries for ~$30. I know, it's expensive but damn it was good. The sauerkraut consist of turmeric, carrot, and cabbage. The flavor was a perfect match with melted cheddar in the sandwich. I can understand why this is the best seller. The side of fries were salty and crunchy. I can tell they are freshly made and possibly hand cut. Orders are made to go, but there are plenty of spots to land and enjoy. I went over to Golden Gate Cider a few steps away. You can also order using a QRcode at Golden State Cider if you decide you're hungry after a few.

I've only been once and quite honestly that was enough for me. I grabbed a sandwich and a side salad, but the side salad was essentially two to three bites worth and quite plain. As for the sandwich, it was good, but again not that large for the price point. If there were no other options nearby, I could see this shop slammed all the time, but many opt for other restaurants as you get more bang for your buck that may be a bit tastier, but just my two cents. Will I rule them out for a future visit, not necessarily, but I always tend to hit a few other spots first if hungry unfortunately.

I go here for for one thing…read more Guavas. They are perfect little buggers that make me happy and make my whole apt smell delicious. Yes, sometimes you have to pick through some squished ones or under ripe one, but well worth it and always better in taste to those I see in the markets. Oh the bread too. Cause I love round tasty bread. Has a dirt parking lot and sometimes deserted but that's okay with me.

Even if I disregard those memories and compare this flea market only to other swap meets I've been to in the area and where I live, this one is a huge disappointment. First I accidentally showed up on a Saturday. Though open, I only saw two vendors. I didn't get out of my car. Next I came on a Sunday, which has always been the better day. There were many vendors, but I'd say a good 70-80% of them were just selling new products. Cheap clothes, household goods, candy, electronics, etc. imported from Mexico and sold cheaply. I guess if you need something like this you may not feel like you have lots of places you can go, but I come to flea markets and swap meets for the "garage sale" aspect and that was extremely minimal here. Very depressing. I did buy a couple of items, but having also visited another swap meet earlier that same day, I can't see myself returning to this one. I'll go anywhere else first and not waste my time coming to Midgley's Country Flea Market.

Got the marinated chicken burrito (GF in which was verbally stated to the cooks) and let me tell you- the flavor was popping that I scarfed the burrito down. Unfortunately, due to the wetness of the meat, beans, and salsa, the tortilla ended up ripping apart half way through and then got pretty messy... finger licking good if you know what I mean. As I was waiting for my food I overheard another patron order the coconut horchata (what?!!!) the lovely owner (who is very accommodating and sweet) gave me a sample; oh, it was phenomenal. I cannot tell you how excited I am to already return to try more items from their menu. Ps: in the evenings they serve Persian food. Indoor and outdoor patio dinning avalible, easy located off Hwy116 outside downtown Seb, with decent parking spots in front.
