Best Mexican spot ever!! My boyfriend and I love this spot, we came on cinco de mayo, had a bit of a wait (obviously, because they're the best and everyone wanted to be there) but we quickly were sat. We had Patty as our server and she was so much fun! She gave us a free round of shots for waiting and to cheers to the holiday. We sat outside in their beautiful outdoor area and had a great meal. Food came out quickly and correctly despite the craziness of cinco de mayo. Always a great time here, always recommend!!

This is one of my favorite Savannah destinations so I was actually surprised I hadn't written a review yet. This place is top notch! The selection of food and drinks is ample so everyone can find something they love. The menu is easy to Understand and the veggie options are clearly marked so there is no confusion. They have all the regulars like chips and salsa and table side quac and cheese dips. And the star of the show, are their little tacos. The combinations are fabulous. They are small so you can order one or more depending on how hungry you are. I Love that! The prices are amazing! And one of the best parts, they have a parking lot! AMAZING!

Carne Asada Taco + Coliflor Taco + Order of Queso

Made my first visit here on Cinco de Mayo and it did not disappoint! It of course was busy. We, party of 3, put our name in around 5:15pm and didn't get sat until 6:30pm. However! We were able to order a marg & hang out at the bar while we waited. The staff was super friendly & fun! They have seating inside & outside. We started with complimentary chips & salsa and added Queso as an app. I ordered the Carne Asada Taco & Coliflor Taco for my meal, after both were recommended by our waitress. My two friends got a quesadilla & Aztec Bowl. All were SO good! The quesadilla was enough for two probably, as we took the other half to go. The margs were on point, classic on the rocks with salt. I've only found 1-2 other Mexican food places in Savannah that I like - now adding Tacos+Tequila to my list!

This is a great place to go when you are in Savannah! You can never go wrong with Mexican and all of the entrees were delicious. Number one tip...get the queso! You get free chips and salsa when you are seated, but the added queso is only about $5 and well worth it. With 4 of us we could not finish all of the queso. This is the largest serving I have had, especially for the price! This was a fun place to eat, we ate outside and it was not too hot, but there were a lot of flies everywhere. I would suggest eating inside, or ask them for a fly spinner (they gave this to some tables, but we did not know about it, so spent our whole dinner swatting flies). Other than the flies, great experience and good prices!

Amazing food at decent prices and great atmosphere! The table side guacamole is amazing!!!

    Black bean nachos

Stay away from the black bean nachos. They are horrible. They took black bean soup and poured them over nachos. There was no pico or lettuce. The cheese was runny. I can get cheaper nachos elsewhere. So disappointed. The waiter was not sympathetic either.

Huge portions. Really busy. Great staff. Super tasty. This place is a gem in Savannah. The cost is extremely reasonable and is the cherry on top! The nachos and tacos stood above the rest and the drinks were strong, so I'm told! ** Ps good iced tea!

Small update, everything on the menu has gone up like other restaurants unfortunately. But now they are charging $1.50 per taco if you want grilled onions on your tacos!! Which sucks cause I'm not crazy about raw onions but love them grilled. I still plan on eating here but definitely not as frequently as I used to.

    arroz texano

I stopped here on my drive from Orlando to Charleston and that couldn't have been a better decision! The staff here was incredibly welcoming and sweet from the moment I walked in. Of course, I ordered the arroz texano which was fabulous. The serving was generous and flavorful with lots of meat and shrimp (hack: use some of the chips as a spoon and it's like nachos). I even had leftovers to eat once I finished my drive which was definitely a perk! Overall, great atmosphere, great food, and great service! I'll definitely stop by if I'm ever in Savannah again :)

    Chips and salsa

Greeted rudely at the door, but I sat down anyway. Should have walked away when the two people at the host stand were not helpful or friendly. Waitress was nice but didn't come by often. Salsa- good, but in a tiny bowl. I ordered two tacos- the picadillo, which would have been average tasting had it not be covered in way too much lettuce and sour cream. See photo for how much was on there. However, taco was edible, but now I feel sick after eating it. 2nd taco- al pastor was inedible. I took one bite and couldn't eat any more of it. This place wasn't busy at all, food was not worth it and made me really queasy. I wasted money, time, and possibly my health- won't ever be back. Should have read the other 1 star reviews because they are correct.

Yes, and definitely yes! Tequila and tacos--how can you possibly go wrong?…read more We grabbed seats at the bar, looked over the menu, and I immediately ordered a tequila soda with jalapeños. If you enjoy a little spice in your cocktail, I highly recommend it. Since we were only in town for one night, we planned on hopping around downtown and trying several different places, so we kept it simple and ordered three tacos to share. There were quite a few tempting options on the menu, and every taco we tried was delicious. Looking back, we honestly should have just stayed here all night eating tacos and drinking tequila because none of the other places we visited afterward lived up to this experience. The atmosphere was bright, lively, and fun, with a great location right on the boardwalk. Between the food, drinks, and overall vibe, this ended up being one of our favorite stops of the trip. We'll absolutely be returning the next time we're in town. After experiencing some of the other disappointing spots downtown, this place made us realize we probably didn't need to go anywhere else.

Margaritas were tasty with lots of flavors to choose from. We tried the chips and dip trio. Guacamole was amazing and so was the queso. The salsa we had was okay but would probably choose something different next time we visit. Everyone loved their tacos with everyone having a taste of something different. We finished it off with churros which were just as great as the ones in Disney! Our waiter was very friendly and had good recommendations for tacos to try! It wasn't too busy when we first got there but picked up as the night went on! I recommend for a solid girls night or anyone wanting some great margaritas and tacos!

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.
