Flavor was ehh.. Only real reason I'm writing this is because for the prices they charge... my tacos are as big as my finger.. what a scam. I strongly dislike taco joints that skimp out this bad on their meat.

We walked in the staff were extremely friendly. The gentleman asked if it was our first time. He explained the easy menue. They were pretty prompt and informational about what was on their menue. The food came out quick even though it started to get busy. The food was made fresh and the beans were not gritty. (Omg) I love that. Inside was well lit ans there were tv's inside. It was clean and friendly the tables were cozy it was a good vibe.

If you're looking for real, authentic TJ-style tacos, this is the spot. Tacos Tijuana brings simple, delicious flavors with every bite, and the tortillas hechas en casa are what truly set them apart. Soft, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, la tortilla can make or break a taco--and here, it absolutely makes it. I'm always going for the asada because I'm a classic like that, but el al pastor and even the veggie al pastor made with mushrooms are puro fuego. Every taco is on point! The staff is super amable, always so helpful, and you can tell they love what they do. The place is clean, organized, and the vibe with the banda music playing is perfect. As someone who misses home (San Diego), Tacos Tijuana gives me that comfort, making me feel like I'm right back in Southern California. Si eres de San Diego o SoCal y andas buscando tacos estilo TJ, no busques más--este es el lugar! And now that they've added burritos to the menu? ¡Uf, una bomba! The flavors were good but the portions were terrible. These are truly the smallest street tacos I've ever had, maybe 1 1/2 tablespoons of meat per taco? I added a picture with a teaspoon to show exactly how small. Also, my interaction with an employee wasn't the best. I didn't realize horchata was an option on this $17 combo, (horchata was priced cheaper than a fountain drink) until after I had put fountain pepsi in my cup. I asked if i could do horchata instead in the same cup. The cashier was persistent in telling me that I was wasting the fountain soda..... the freely accessible fountain with unlimited refills that costs them less than 5 cents per drink. She didn't tell me no, she more so decided to lecture me about wasting the single cup of soda. I would've preferred a firm no over the lecture. It was awkward, she was definitely hoping I'd say never mind. So I stared at her & asked again, 3 more times, can we do that? She finally said fine just this one time. Like girl , come on. My family and I spent well over $50 and I even tipped you for this ridiculously small portion of food. Oh well, we won't be back, there are plenty of other spots with better portions and less lectures.

Tried the tortilla with pork. The meat and the flavoring was very good. Corn tortilla was really soft and fluffy, and felt very fresh. The guacamole sauce was good but I'd have preferred the guacamole or avocado instead, which would have made it even better. I wish they had more hard shell corn taco options. Small little place, service was quite fast in terms of the food.

Best Authentic Taco spot in the East Valley! It's quick and the service is always great! They serve juices/jugos and their salsas are super tasty and homemade. Their pastor is my favorite and their carne asada is so fresh and tender. If you want authentic street tacos and sides come here! Their quesadillas are best! I could eat just that and would still give this restaurant a 5 staff rating! Three is plenty of seating even though it's a small place. Not great for groups, 6-8 max guests comfortably. It's more of a quick eat and run spot.

I wanted tacos...I heard that's all this place does so I checked it out. I expected more variety but they only do Carne Asada and Al Pastor....but let's be honest, those are great options so I got 3 of each and I have no complaints! The staff were friendly and they were cleaning up the place after the dinner rush (which I appreciate). It took all of 3 minutes for my order to be ready (if that). The store doesn't offer a whole lot of seating but it was enough for me If you need a taco fix and like limited options, this is a great stop. Healthy portions of meat and I highly suggest the red sauce...great flavor with the right kick to it.

Been here countless times and never fails me. My favorite here is the Al pastor taco with the corn tortillas. Very delicious and worthy of cheat days. I tend to order everything on top which comes with onions, guacamole and you have to order the cheese topping as extra (don't forget!) The corn tortilla is made in house, made with love. Lol. Another good option is the carne asada. The quesadilla is another one I love the service here is fast, friendly. The restaurant is smaller so sometimes we do take out but don't let that deter you.

So good! There's nothing like some good authentic tacos. I grew up eating authentic Mexican food and I'm constantly on the lookout for food that has that same authentic taste and I can never find it. Until now! If you're wanting some tacos this is were you need to go. I saw something commenting about customer service and not being greeted or being treated friendly but I have to say my experience was the complete opposite. The employees aren't overly friendly but they acknowledge you and smile, which I can relate to because I'm not the most outgoing or talkative person. There's nothing about my visit that would keep me from going back. Simple delicious food! read more

This place has already out grown the location that they picked. The tacos are cheap and are very delicious. Very since I found out about this place I keep coming back for more. Their tortillas are made by hand and they sauces are very good! 10/10 would recommend! read more

These tacos are by far the best me and my family have had! We are Mexican and a lot of places dont please our taste buds because where so used to authentic tacos. This place by far is the best in Mesa I've tried so many places it tops backyard taco, el Asadero, Tacos Jalisco, senior taco, taco bros, go give it a try will be coming back a lot trust me. read more

This place is an absolute gem! We absolutely loved our TJ street tacos! They are so fresh and delicious! I can't recommend this place enough! The value is extremely worth the well priced delicious tacos you can tell are made with love! We could also tell it was a family owned and operated restaurant ran with so much love and dedication. This place is an awesome lunchtime stop for authentic tacos. Ingredients so fresh that they make your corn tortilla on the spot. The Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos are packed with flavor and priced more than reasonably. I only took off a star due to the lack of seating. During a lunchtime rush it may be hard to find a spot to enjoy, so I'd recommend in getting your order to go around noon. read more

Great street tacos!! Just got done trying them for the first time and had the Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos. Great tasting and good quality. My favorite street tacos were from Los Tacos No.1 in New York City but these are pretty close. Was a little surprised they didn't have Chips and Salsa as an option though. read more

Finally!! Authentic Mexican tacos in Mesa! We had tacos Al Pastor, Asada, and a Mulita. The handmade tortillas are so amazing and fresh! The meat is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The employees are really nice and seem excited to be opened up! Make your way over if you want to feel like you went to Tijuana for Tacos! Or if you want a delicious and affordable meal! This is going to be the most frustrating review I've ever written. First off let me just say the Tacos are among the best I've ever had. However... Everything else SUCKS! I only learned about the place 6 weeks ago. I went mid-week about 3pm. Instantly thought it will now be my go-to place for tacos. But unfortunately if you go during lunch or dinner hours, bring a sleeping bag and pillow. I've been around the world and never had to wait so long to be served your food. First of all, and this is their standard practice, after waiting in line to get to the register your told it will be at least another 35 minutes to get your tacos. That is UNACCEPTABLE! Whether it's a five star restaurant or Burger King. And they don't tell you as you're standing in line for twenty minutes. They wait till you get to the register. If you're thinking this was just a one time thing... NO! It's happened everytime I've been there except the first time. Also, let me add their sitting room should be able to seat about 60. But because they spent zero thought into it. It seats about 30. So if you take your family there. Prepare to eat standing up. That works great with small kids. And don't even get me started on the people who work there... To be accurate I'd have to say mean things and rather not. Bottom line. It's a shame how what could have been a great little spot for street tacos is now on my list of places I'll never go back to. My advice... Stay away! They make a great taco. But everything else... they're clueless! read more

This place has become very popular, so don't be surprised if there's a line to the door or a 30min wait on Taco Tuesday....their tacos are worth the wait! The only, ONLY thing that would make this place better is if their location was bigger! I think that says a lot. read more

This place is pretty good, for being a restaurant style it's really good. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back here when I'm in the area. The tortilla and meat was really good and the sauces as well. Not what I was expecting. Portion is way too small for the price. Meat was really oily. One recommendation I would make would be adding a condiment bar. It felt like the tacos needed that extra cilantro, and carrots along with a different type of salsa. read more

To start - if you want a booth, make sure you specify that when you put in your name - it changes the wait time. While we waited, we ordered Cokes from the bar, and Marquis gave a warm welcome and great service! Upon finally sliding into our booth, we found the seats hadn't been brushed off - and it was very crumb-y (pun intended) - we ended up using our napkins and then grabbing new sets from a nearby table. However our server, Calvin, during that typical greeting and small talk actually invited us to share our concerns, asking us not to hold back and as a result went above and beyond to turn our experience around. Many of their options like the green salad, bulgogi, marinated ribs, and vegetables were not nearly as sweet as I often find them in other KBBQ joints, which was a great change. The service is great. I didn't feel waited on, I felt like I was just generally seen. There's a doorbell if you need something quickly. Otherwise all staff were super friendly and anticipated our needs with grill changes which was nice. The atmosphere is great. It's small and casual but very comfortable and upscale at the same time. It feels very relaxed while maintaining a high standard. The music is great (for us), all kinds of EDM at a good volume. And no TVs, which is actually nice - it let us focus on the vibes, the food, and each other. Many other parties were laughing and having a good time. We spent about 130 between the two of us, having ordered an XL combo and an extra side (chicken buldak - I couldn't eat the noodles but the chicken was bomb). Of course, had to wait for the hype to die down before checking it out. Once there, the server explained the process - basically you just place all your orders through the iPad that's on the table. Very convenient to scroll through the different categories and everything has pics to help you decide what to order. Once you have your selections in your cart, you just send your order to the kitchen. You can do this for multiple rounds, basically just small to medium sized orders until you feel like you're at a good stopping point. The first thing to select is the broths. You can choose 2 broths or 4 broths. For our group size, the server recommended 2 broths so everything can heat up and cook quickly. We got the tom yum soup and the three delicacies soup base (seafood, mushrooms, jujubes). We also got an assortment of meats, veggies, etc. The tom yum soup was by far our favorite. The other one was too bland. Honestly I didn't know what all meats we ordered, just that they were delicious. Some other highlights were: pork dumplings, potato noodles, etc. We also got the signature dancing noodle, which I thought was purely for show, but the noodle itself was really great - super chewy. Haidilao is great for groups, especially so you can try a little bit of everything. It's not exactly cheap, but it's for the experience and meats are naturally on the more expensive end. Our total per person ended up being around $50. If your group orders more high end option, it could easily skew closer to $75. Had a great time here, would come back!!

The ingredients were fine, but nothing stood out as exceptional. The broths lacked the depth and richness I was hoping for, and overall the meal felt more focused on presentation and service than creating memorable flavors. And even then, the service wasn't great. I frequently had to flag down the waitress for a refill or help. If you're looking for a first hot pot experience, celebrating with kids, or want the novelty of the noodle show, you may enjoy it. But if you're already familiar with hot pot and are coming primarily for the food, you may find it hard to justify the price. For us, the experience was memorable (and only because it was our first time trying this place). The meal itself definitely wasn't.
