Waited over an hour for mediocre tacos. Maybe I'm biased since I'm from Cali and we have taquerias galore but I feel like the wait was ridiculous for what it was . They only serve 2 meats, ASADA(steak) and ADOBADA (pork). Excellent tacos, people are use to places that sell tacos to serve way too many other sides. They keep it simple and the tortillas for the tacos are amazing. This not flibertos, this is authentic Mexican tacos. Very good "REAL TRADITIONAL TACOS", Very flavorful and decent prices for the tacos. I go at least once a week. The menu is small right now but that's ok. Found out about Tacos Tijuana on MXSW. What a great place. Tacos were excellent!! Two flavors, pork and beef. Tender and bursting with flavor. No soggy tacos here! Both were outstanding. Don't miss the sauces either. White bottle and red bottle; red seemed best on the pork. The quesadilla comes with a roasted serrano pepper, nice touch. We will definitely go back. read more

This place was amazing!! I'm always on the lookout for great tacos and I was not disappointed!! Worth the drive from Queen Creek!

I live in E Mesa and I will drive to the Chandler location just cause it is a bigger location. The Mesa location only has 2 tables that can sit 4 people and one table that will sit 2 people. They also have two different bar style tables where people normally sit and wait for their to go orders. Tonight it was just my husband and myself so we stopped at the Mesa location since it didn't seem too busy. We ordered our food, my husband loves the al pastor tacos and I always get the asada tacos. After waiting for 30 minutes they call our number to tell us it will be another 30 minute wait for al pastor and if we want to switch all of them to asada. The lady didn't even try and make things right. just said sorry once and said you can wait or get asada. So we went with the asada and while we were eating they gave another table who had arrived shortly after we did their al pastor tacos but never offered us any. My husband was born and raised in Mexico and says these are some of the best tacos he has had in his 18 years in AZ. They're small (street taco sized) but packed with flavor. He prefers the al pastor. The salsa has good flavor and spice. We wish they had fountain soda instead of bottled, but still 5 stars. read more

Taco are delicious, but it ridiculous that won't answer the phone to take take out orders. They want you to text your order to them, but I've tried that on 2 occasions and both times when I showed up they said they had no order from me. What a joke. My family and I have come to this location on several occasions...we even frequent the Chandler location...the food is great...they keep it simple. It's unfortunate that we will NEVER step foot in this establishment. Today my husband and I came in for a quick lunch. I ordered 2 veggie tacos. I asked the cashier what came in the veggie taco and she said mushrooms and pineapple. So I asked for a veggie taco with just mushrooms. When the order came it was loaded with cheese...well I don't eat cheese so I asked if they could be remade since I wasn't made aware that they came with cheese. They refused to remake them. They said if I wanted them remade I would have to pay for 2 more tacos! Wow! Mind totally blown...we're talking about mushrooms here! I'm so disappointed...my husband literally ordered 8 carne asada tacos...so we're not shy about spending money here...but that is not service...here I am supporting a small minority owned business and this is how they treat me...okay raza...sad read more

UPDATE: Unfortunately I'm having to update this review today. 10/25/19, My initial review was from my first visit. It went great and i really enjoyed it. The second time I went i asked for flour tortillas with everything on the side and when I got home everything was on the side but they were corn tortillas.. at $2.20 a pop i was upset but figured it was just a mistake and didn't really give it much more of a thought. Today was my third time there and this is why i am changing my review. I went in asked for my tacos with flour and again with everything on the side. My number gets called and i go up and they ask me what salsa i would like and they give me a little bag. And i asked where the rest of the sides were (guac, limes, and onion and cilantro mix) and she told me that it was at the bottom. It was one little container and i said that i asked for everything on the side.. these were 20 tacos.. so it wasn't just for me.. so two girls stood there looking at me And one said that i only asked for tomato on the side.. and only asked for everything on the side for the quesadilla.. and i said no I didn't because i have someone at home that is allergic to onions.. the cashier was very crass and said "she only told me for the quesadilla" and we went back and forth for a bit and the two girls looked at me like i was a liar and were just overall rude.. but if you're a person with allergies you know how you should order always because of the consequences. So i compromised and asked if they could at least replace 5 with everything on the side, they looked at each other said something and reluctantly agreed. They kept talking to each other but it was so loud i couldn't hear but I'm sure it wasn't something good.. and also let me add that i was not rude when asking for this. I was very calm as there were so many people in there and i didn't want to cause a scene and be "that lady" After all of that and getting 5/20 tacos with everything on the side, I get home and a bug crawled out, let's say we wasted $55 for nothing and I will never be back. Especially because of how terrible these two young girls and the older cashier made me feel. So let me just start by saying that I'm from Yuma, AZ which is 3 hours south and right next to the Mexican border.. we have amazing food and especially tacos. Completely upsetting as I was running late would of appreciated a call or text notifying order not taken. Would of gone elsewhere.
